- Reviewing the Scotty 2500 line puller and testing it out in half-moon Bay pulling Dungeness crab over 140 ft deep. Got limits and with the help of the scotty line puller we did it without breaking a sweat!!! Definitely a thumbs up!!! Link to the pot puller below!!

Clicked to watch your Scotty review, but totally distracted by the incredible Dunggie haul in your pots. Unbelievable!! Crabbing for twenty years and have never seen such a huge catch. Nice going! Oh yeah, appreciate the Scottie review too.

The Arima is an awesome boat, I have upgraded though I no longer have the 16’ I now have the 21’ sea ranger!! This one is also amazing and handles choppy weather better as well!!! Happy fishing!!!

Nice haul. I just bought one of those crab pullers , Did you hook up the Scotty directly to your boat engine battery or a separate battery just for the Scotty? Thank you 🙏🏽
Hey whats going on brother!! Thanks for watching. Yes I hooked it directly to my boat engine battery with an inline fuse 30 amps.

@@gapo62angler93yes sometimes. When my engine is on It recharges my battery. I also have a backup battery that I can switch to in case one goes out !!! Always run dual batteries never know when something can go wrong! In my case if i felt i was running my puller too much i would turn my engine on and have it charging!!!

@BlueCoastFishing A bit late to your video, but great haul. Was wondering if you are fishing on an Arima boat? If so, I just purchased one and it will be arriving soon. Any recommendations on wiring those outlets into the transom/gunnels of the boat? I'd like to be able to take my scotty downriggers, daiwa electric reels and scotty pot puller and plug right into an exposed port like that. Any corrosion issues?
My freezer is empty so it hurt to see those crabs descending!!! Next good tide and wave day and I'll be out again!

Whats going on brother!! Yes it does need a fuse and it is a 30 amp!! Pretty straight forward just add the inline fuse holder, I used a blue sea systems one!!

What brand trap is that
Some are promar, some are danielson
Love the idea of that pot puller because I already have the down rigger set up on the boat. Then I watched your video. you have to reach over the boat and lift that heavy pot and bang the pot against the side of the boat. Damage to your back and your boat in one step. No thanks. I’ve seen better home made set ups.
