      If you can perform analysis considering the whole frame, that will give you the cheapest design result instead of treating individually.

    Sir tanong ko lang po sa isang frame ng multi storey building pwede po ba gamitin yung pinaka mataas na loads sa structural analysis para sa design ng beams kung typical lengths and section naman po para hindi ko na idesign individually kada beam. thanks po in advance.

    • @jsdesign_engineeringtv3633
      @jsdesign_engineeringtv3633  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes especially kung isang type lang ng occupancy. Except dancing hall ang storage rooms, but kung offices, residential, multi purpose with fixed partitions you can assume similar loadings. Liveload lang naman ang variable.

    • @bienramos7587
      @bienramos7587 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pag nagde design ako ng multi storey building..let say 20 storey even though same loading..mas malaking size ginagamit ko sa lower level dahil malaki ang stress sa lower level compare sa higher level..gradual lang ang reduced ng dimensions..IMHO

    • @jsdesign_engineeringtv3633
      @jsdesign_engineeringtv3633  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Pwede naman but it would be expensive. Besides, I doubt that it will give you the same result per floor because of the lateral loads. If you want to save time in designing you can group the result like establish a typical zone say; all basement floors, L1-4, L5-8 and so on. It is up to the designer, diskarte mo yan, there is no right or wrong as long as you complied with the prevailing code and assign the proper loadings you are good. Thanks

    • @jsdesign_engineeringtv3633
      @jsdesign_engineeringtv3633  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Discretion ng designer yan, some may have treated it as fixed-ended but to me it is safer to let them(beams) free-ended to get the maximum moment at the center. Besides, I don't think column has a complete bending resistance on its free-end. Mag provide ka nalang ng extra top bar on both ends if you wish, use L/5
