It’s sad that he seems to forget that Adam and Eve were kicked out of paradise over a piece of fruit. God has standards. He wants everyone in his house, that is why everyone is invited. But there is a dress code to adhere to otherwise you won’t get in.
@@user-bluetopaz777 This was a parable that I would just read and I knew, but the Holy Spirit has taught me to slow down and look at the specific words written. I believe this parable has to do with Jesus' first and his second coming. The Israelites knew through the prophets that there was a Messiah to come (The initial invitation). Yet for many of them, once the Messiah (Jesus) came they refused to believe in him. They were even given a second opportunity, but carried on as before. The King (God) decides that the feast is not going to waste, everything is prepared. Jesus has come, and he will come back there is no changing that. So the people that originally were not invited to the feast are invited. The key word is invitation. An invitation will usually have a date, time, location and sometimes even a dress code. It will explain the event, whether it is a wedding or birthday party, if it is in a park or banquet hall. If the event is at a park in the summer you might where a t-shirt and shorts, if it is at a fancy restaurant, then a dress or suit would be appropriate. The servants went and invited everyone no one was left out (Gentiles). It is safe to assume that there would be time to change, or that would be discussed with the servants. The man who gets thrown out did not change, and had no answer when the king asked why he wasn't properly dressed. There is no reason to try to enter the kingdom of God with worldly baggage, or living. When you accept the invitation of salvation, there is a change that needs to happen you. You become a new creation. You put on the "wedding clothes," meaning you walk in the spirit and bear the fruit of the spirit. You do the Lord's will. Quick detour, there are people that try to make it seem like if Jesus didn't say it, then it doesn't count, but Jesus said time and time again to do God's will. Jesus gave two commands and the only one people who still live for the world like to say is to love others, but the first command is to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind. Back to the point. You cannot still live like you did when you were in the world, this includes sexual promiscuity (anything that is sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman), foul language, lacking forgiveness and more. God opened up salvation to everyone, but not everyone met the criteria to enter the kingdom. I pray that this make sense I know I wrote a lot. God bless you and thank you for asking.

He says to be careful in *how* you judge. 1:02 Let me correct that with something Jesus actually said "they say if you dont like someone you married you should get remarried, I say we look to Genesis for what marriage looks like" (essentially) which guess what you see in genesis... Oh yeah a man and a woman. 2:06 And the very next verse "such as where some of you" past tense. @@roscowbrown3937 Well for one, we do need the word of God. Humanity rejecting God has led to millennia of depravity, war, and corruption. Also no one innocent. We’ve all sinned and fallen short of God’s standards of morality. Not to mention it’s hypocritical of you to say you’re against discrimination, yet you’re being discriminatory towards Christians for them merely adhering to the principles of their faith. And also we do have evidence of God’s existence. The fact that there’s an order to creation which couldn’t have possibly have happened randomly as atheists believe. There were scientific truths in the scriptures that the people of God had knowledge of centuries before the rest of the world found out about it, as shown by Ray Comfort. The archaeological evidence such as the slab proving King David and his lineage existed, which would include Jesus, artifacts proving the existence of Canaanite culture, a scientist proving that the parting of the Red Seas was possible. Non Christian sources confirming Jesus Christ existed in ancient Israel’s culture and more. There’s plenty of evidence for God’s existence, and thus we’re accountable to him.
@@KingNazaru Depravity, war and corruption are not caused by rejecting God. God’s standard of morality doesn’t matter until we prove he exists. It’s not hypocritical to “discriminate” against discrimination, that’s stupid and you know it. Read your bible. Jesus never even met Paul/Saul
@@hexum7 I have read my Bible. Jesus appeared to him in a vision in Acts 9 on the Road to Damascus. Jesus tells Ananias in the same chapter to go to Saul saying "“Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My name before Gentiles, kings, and the children[c] of Israel. For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.”
In Galatians 1: 11-12 Paul reveals that all he learned about the Gospel was not from any man but revelation from Jesus Christ.
@@Imissnormal I suspect you did nothing more than google Paul meets Jesus, but I’ll grant you that you memorized those passages- I’m just telling you that do you’ll understand why I’m skeptical.
However, Jesus did not appear in the flesh to Saul, according to the NT. He was with at least 2 or 3 (Iirc)others who did not see Jesus therefore what Saul “saw” was all in his head.
The revelation of Jesus that Paul refers to in Galatians is just that- that vision. Even in the Acts passage, Jesus said very little to Saul/Paul and did not teach him a any of his vast amount of teachings . But I understand where you are coming from- the word “revelation” has been usurped by modern churches to mean everything from a vision to a feeling to just mere belief in God. It’s been made to carry far more weight than the word was designed to carry , while at the same time, diluted to virtual defintionless (if that’s the word)

Are you presupposing that concrete scientific findings are inherently at odds with the revelations/teachings found in the Bible? In order to not misconstrue the Bible, wouldn’t it be optimal to adopt a critical exegetical framework for the interpretation of the Bible?

Do you think God created all of us, or do you think certain living things evolved from others?

@kellychery8367 Ok cool. That's a parable I'm somewhat confused about. Please explain the interpretation.
