UP Caltrain welded rail trains on the Peninsula Corridor | MP15DC 503 504 work train in October 2023

Caltrain runs their first Work train in 4 years! Railroad tracks along the Peninsula Corridor needed some replacement, so UP brought rails from Texas, and dropped them off in Redwood Junction, for the Caltrain switchers to take over the work. Caltrain sent out both of their switchers for the work train for 3 consecutive days, but I only got to see them run on one of the days.
In this video, I feature RARE footages of UP road power operating on the Peninsula, and also the chase of the work train from Millbrae to Redwood City. For folks that aren't from the Peninsula, what's so rare about this?
-UP road power has not come on the Peninsula since 2020.
-There hasn't been a work train on the Peninsula since about 2017 or 18.
