    Love this...I wish I knew how to sew on a sewing machine?😢😢😢

    I’m not sure I understand the last step before attaching the embroidery….
    Did you say to fold down the neckline and stitch it?
    Won’t that interfere with the shoulders?
    Can you please explain?
    Thank you.

    i love this and want to make it. I just got really confused around the part where you created the pleats at the neckline. I want to make one for my daughters. Are you able to elaborate on that step please?

      Hey Talia! thank you so much! So, here's the deal: when we cut the fabric, the two front pieces match the measurements of the square for the back piece. However, when we create the neckline on the back piece and start positioning the front pieces, leaving space for the neckline on the back, it results in the shoulder lines of the front pieces being longer than those of the back piece. To ensure a proper fit and alignment, I added small pleats to distribute the extra fabric evenly. This way, we can adapt and make sure everything fits just right! 😊 hope this helps! 💖

      Thank you for your reply. So if I understand correctly, there will be a gap between the back panels (where the neckline is? So the panels will come to the outer edges of the necklace with nothing overlapping the neckline? @@MissyLookss

      Yes, and to finish the neckline i just serged the edge and folded it inwards (3:32) to then sew over it to keep it like that@@taliamassaroni9133

      thank you. I think I will have to do this slowly. I don't have a serger but can attempt a zig zag stich. Alternatively I can sew a decorative trim to hide the edges, like a lace or pom pom trim. Thanks again @@MissyLookss

    Would this cover up be considered one size fit all?

    • @MissyLookss
      @MissyLookss  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, just pick the length that feels more comfortable for you (Im short - 5'3 and it could look like a top for someone taller 😅) but width-wise it is pretty adjustable. 🙌🏼
