I don’t think anyone else has gone into this much detail regarding how to make really good flashcards. Your Anki videos are extremely helpful Prerak. Thank you! ❤️
anki actually changed my life(overexaggerating but still) thanks to you! i just got 100% on my biochem final without taking 2 prereq classes(it be like that), and passed physics bc of anki and because of your wonderful videos! it really is more than memorizing but it also is as simple as memorizing. thank you so much for these videos and this channel, keep doing what your doing , happy holidays!
This is honestly a fantastic video. I’ve had such a hard time making ineffective flashcards - primarily due to being vague in both the question and answer. But this advice makes so much intuitive sense - specifically in the way I should go about asking the questions. Thanks bro!
Can you explain what you mean? You have to understand the deeper level and context and not just single words. The question make sure you really understood the stuff instead of simply connecting words. You should do minimal information per card but a large amount of that to get the whole thing😊
What’s your thought on making flashcards by using image Occlusion especially on the lecture slides? Or would you against it and advice to interpret the infos on the lecture slides into question and answer format? Thanks for your time
Hi Prerak, amazing video as always!!! I saw that you are planning on pursuing an MBA. Could you do a video on dual degrees, and the future utilization of those degrees?
Hey man, love the videos they're helping me out a ton with Anki! I was wondering why you use Cloze cards all the time, even though it's not a 'fill in the blank' type question? I'm currently using Basics and was just wondering if it was preference or if there's an actual reason I should be aware of. Thanks!
I do that as well. Its probably because of the nicer design, but, sometimes, it also helps in cards that the answer is more than one piece of information.
Hey, thank you so much for these videos, we really appreciate them. One question though, with tip 3 (deeper answer), if you were doing your reviews for that certain card, do you try and also recall your 'extra' section information or do you only try and recall the close deletion information? I assume you would recall both the close deletion and extra section information right? or else it would basically end up as a superficial card
How many flashcards do you do in a day coz in one topic i usually am able to make more than 100 flashcards in a day and if it piles up i'm never be able to finish it 😔
How do you make the colors different?? I have color deficiency and can’t see the blue very well ... I would love to be able to alter the colors just slightly for my eyes ... thanks!
Amazing! I've been doing question and answer cards for a couple of weeks and the diference is brutal compared to just cloze deletion one big information. Question: What do u think about associative imagens in the cards? The exemple cards that u put in the video don't have image at all. I lose so much time googling images to my cards that I'm starting to question if this is really important. Would be nice to get your thought on that. Love your videos, greetings from Brazil.
He mentioned something about it in his 5 mistakes video. He suggests putting images on the answer rather than the paper. Reasons, difficult to convey so just look for his video on that
it would be nice if at some point (start of video, title, description...) you specified these tips were for medical cards because I watched the whole video and none of it is at all helpful for me because the stuff I use anki for is completely different

This guy gives me so much hope about pursuing my studies. Thank you
Ditto
Thank you so much for this 🙏 Youre a real one
Coming from psychology, I really appreciate your talk about differences in diagnoses (and the video) ☺️
This is honestly a fantastic video.

these are really good tips
I rarely comment but I just had to because your videos are so helpful and I am so thankful to have stumbled across them! :D
I probably should make a 'how to use Anki properly' deck too
this is the content that I was looking for , SUBSCRIBED
Everybody say thankyou Perak!
I love that you made a Power Point for this
This is priceless. Thank you sooo much. 🙏🏻
Awesome video Prerak! Love your channel and tips. I’m a first year med student and Anki has been super key for me too 😁
Prerak’s always helping me up my Anki game 💪
I am somewhat confused on the "have deeper answer" section. Doesn't that go against the minimum principle of card creation specified in Supermemo?
Can you explain what you mean? You have to understand the deeper level and context and not just single words. The question make sure you really understood the stuff instead of simply connecting words. You should do minimal information per card but a large amount of that to get the whole thing😊
Can I give more than one like? Greetings from Brazil Prerak! God Bless you!
youre a life save TYSMMMM!!!
Thank you so much! Really helpful!~
Thank you so much !!!
Thanks so much! You are the best!!!!
Love your videos forever man

How to create a card that makes it easy to remember a list of things? e.g., a list of risk factors for PROM?.
Hi Prerak, amazing video as always!!! I saw that you are planning on pursuing an MBA. Could you do a video on dual degrees, and the future utilization of those degrees?
I wrote these ways on my anki card.

after many time you learn the card it much easier to remember the extra.

How do have ur screen show up as well your real time video in the corner? Does the file come out really big when u export?
How do you make the colors different?? I have color deficiency and can’t see the blue very well ... I would love to be able to alter the colors just slightly for my eyes ... thanks!
Matt while editing... there is an option with a BIG BRUSH which contains 5 colours... u can use that.
Amazing! I've been doing question and answer cards for a couple of weeks and the diference is brutal compared to just cloze deletion one big information.

do you use zanki? Being that it's mostly cloze, do you benefit from it? Or do you edit the cards
He did a video on premade anki decks with Zanki
Thank you dear doctor make more of these videos about how to study ,
Thank you 🌺🌺❤
in 1:00 he said "mas o menos" in spanish?? i just love it
it would be nice if at some point (start of video, title, description...) you specified these tips were for medical cards because I watched the whole video and none of it is at all helpful for me because the stuff I use anki for is completely different
Have you done step 1 yet?
Why always use cloze and not basic ?
I think he said something about the extra option to add more detail. Check out the How to use anki video- paraphrased the title.
Kindly make time stamps
