I agree with everything he says! I make 5x more that many people and still drive a 15 year old Toyota SUV. I see people who make less than half what I make buying fancy liabilities that earn nothing, no dividends or profits. My assets will pay me and my lifestyle in the long run

They have the attitude. "Who cares about Tomorrow, I live in the present". Which is good, not denying that, however, tomorrow will be your children and grandchildren that will suffer. Even, if I become rich, I don't think I can enjoy it. But I am going to make damn sure my next generations will not know poverty.
They're spending their credit card like no tomorrow. And Banks like this behavior. But not me, I have seen 2008 very well. I will not make that mistake.

A 15 year old Toyota SUV is an expensive depreciating liability that probably costs more than a newer used version. Do the spreadsheet analysis and see when that crossover occurs.

Being a taxi driver we live the commission life, there are years that are up and years that are down. Going through a down year, companies keep over hiring, and my expenses are about to go up again. I'm at the point where I'm living on the edge and need a better job. The main issue is the few better jobs out there requires permits, licenses and endorsements that costs money I don't have. My body is already burnt working 50 hours a week. I need a side hustle that won't break the rest of me.

I believe that it is essential to indulge in self-reward, as life is too short to focus solely on investments and defer enjoyment to old age. Such an approach lacks logical reasoning.
During my initial five years of residence in Canada, I occupied a modest room situated beneath a staircase, for which I paid a monthly rent of $380. Concurrently, I held multiple jobs, enabling me to accumulate significant savings.
Subsequently, I acquired a used Dodge automobile for the sum of $600. However, this vehicle nearly caused a major accident during the winter season.
Following this unfortunate experience with the Dodge car, I made the decision to purchase a brand-new house and a 2022 Toyota Highlander Platinum, which I find safe and comfortable while navigating my day-to-day activities.
It is essential to prioritize self-care while simultaneously making prudent investments.

You do tend to forget to mention that your TH-cam channel alone brings you in anywhere from 100k-1 million a year. So that’s a huge asset as well. You’re bringing in money talking about how you bring in money. That’s a huge advantage that most viewers don’t have :/
Authors do the same thing. They sell millions of books talking about how to invest and safe money to buy assets. Then they use their income they make from selling their books to buy more assets. No one ever talks about this…

I’m sorry if I’m making 100k, I AM NOT walking in the street with holes in my shoes!! We MUST use common sense…

I didn't agree with that. You can at least get thrifted shoes. I can find a practical pair of shoes for 50 dollars or less.

You don't need too get you some decent shoes if your making 100k if your single majority of your money should go toward investments imo but also invest in yourself good shoes for fitness decent clothes and so on.. Nothing wrong with spending a few 100 dollars here and there if your not breaking the bank for it

I agree with sacrifice but you also have to retrain your thoughts to do what’s best for you as well. Sometimes living the way he spoke of could mess with someone’s mental health and cause discouragement. I don’t have it all figured out but I do believe in balance.
