    I love this story. I read it when I was a student and I have read it again on different occasions and loved it even more.
    Let me point out that she is not "large" at he end of the story. She is FAT. No body-shaming was ever intended in the story. The author just mentioned a fact. She is fat and that's that.
    Why people don't use the correct words really drives me mad. Let's not be hypocrites. Language is language. Let weak-minded people get offended.

    I think this would trigger me then, tbh-ever since COViD the whole paying bills and stress about money just completely tracks too close to my life.

    @2:51 I mean, at what point does "body shaming" become "body caring" (especially if it's your significant other)? I think when a spouse doesn't say anything, when they can clearly see that their partner is putting on significant pounds, signifies that perhaps they're just as unengaged as the individual who is gaining all the weight.

      Yeah; since this story was strangers it’s a good question for that area. I wonder what story could tackle that specific question
