Production gets messy by telling 2 people different sides of a story or by telling/showing 1 person what the other person said, hyping them up and then bringing them together for a scene, knowing that tension is in the air. And, the only times the BGC girls don't connect is if they suck at fighting, which most of them do, or if security is blocking them, which they often do. BGC1-7 had more free fighting, but BGC8 and up had more security getting in the way. Love and Hip Hop is fake as hell, they literally redo the same scenes over again and most of them fight and don't even have real beef off camera. A lot of the BGC girls STILL hate each other to this day, even though BGC ended in 2017. And, a lot of them did "My experience on BGC" videos here on TH-cam where they mentioned how messy and TOO involved production often was. Most of them even said they wouldn't have hated or fought certain people if production didn't put a bug in their ear. Production often gets these fights going by lying to cast members to stir up drama, turning everybody against each other.

But, from indulging in more reality shows over the years; I can argue that the fights themselves aren’t scripted, but the reasoning and emotions in the fight that are scripted. Frederick got caught up bad mouthing the hand that feeds him. It exposes his lack of appreciation and disingenuous spirit. His punishment was deserved and in order.

He broke bread with this man and allowed him in the exclusive inner circle. It stings differently than someone bad mouthing you who isn't pretending to be a trusted friend. That's betrayal and an abuse of friendship. Clearly, Frederick was not there as a true friend.
His punishment was justified and administered accordingly by the New Orleans goons. He got what he deserved.
