I replayed bloodborne a few months back and even at 25 fps it was a masterpiece, just let us play it in 4K 60fps and I’ll be happy
played it last time on ps5 and the frame pacing is a td bit better, but yeah 4k 60 is my dream
It DESPERATELY needs 4k 60 fps. I played gow ragnarok before this and bb was literally unplayable. I was getting actually migraines from playing it. Not to mention the dated combat and mechanics. I played through most of Bloodborne after my girlfriend at the time lost a pregnancy. I was very surprised how much this game touched on pregancy and the loss of early life, and it helped me process a lot of grief and guilt that I still feel to this day.

It's crazy to me how so many people on the internet have gone on record stating they were able to use bloodborne as sort of a safe space when they were going through tough times.

If you had a baby, you would've never had time to play video games ever again, especially a time draining game like Bloodborne. That's just the reality of having kids and that's why I don't want any.

Also I never learned how to enjoy it cause I don't like fighting giant monsters. I wish Bloodborne was grounded in a realistic setting with realistic enemies.

Thats subjective, Bloodborne has the best atmosphere, but as someone who started with Demon Souls and played every game From Software has produced since that game, Dark Souls 1 is still my favorite 😅 Elden Ring is the most complete game of them
Miyazaki even said that he would love to make a remake or remaster or something new for the universe of Bloodborne. But the WAY he said it was along the lines of wanting to give it its due diligence. Much like the Demon’s souls remake. Make sure enough time has passed to let the true scope and improvements of the graphics and framerates truly shine. The comparison between the original Demon’s souls and the remake is STAGGERING. I’d want the same for Bloodborne

@@ironcross1252 it's wild how people sh*t on ubisoft and activision for assassin's creed and call of duty but fromsoftware did exactly the same thing. discarded all the developments of Sekiro and Bloodborne and made Dark Souls 3 in the open world for normies. After all, mainstream gamers couldn't beat Sekiro. We have fast paced combat in elden ring, probably dodge from bloodborne, rally system from bloodborne, faster flask animation from bloodborne, deflect or perfect block from sekiro makes more sense? Nah we just keep old dark souls 3 character movement and allow players to break the game easily with bleeds, mimics, being over leveled insanely easy in open world. Brilliant game design. And yeah elden ring might be not the worst fromsoftware game but it deffinetly worst Miyazaki game.
Sony is completely missing the point; people don't want a PS6 exclusive remake of an already perfect game, people want a PC PORT ON STEAM OF THE ORIGINAL with mods and all that stuff.
Miyazaki already alluded/hinted in the past that Fromsoft is not interested in making sequels of previous/new titles as that would stifle and limit their creativity, that he and the team intend for their games to be self-contained experiences if possible. The transformation of the Dark Souls series into a trilogy is frequently linked to contractual commitments with Bandai Namco, which, following the success of the original game, pushed for the production of additional titles. After the first Dark Souls, Miyazaki already shifted focus to Bloodborne, and pre-production/development for Armored Core VI, Sekiro, and even Elden Ring began while Dark Souls 3 was still in development.
it's not about what people want ,it's more about what is better for the company and let's be honest here
make more sense for them to make some exclusive remake like demon souls than a pc port or maybe a title in their pc launcher

Tbh the best way for Sony to approach this (most lucrative way at least) would be to announce later on a bloodborne sequel as ps6 launch title, and at the end of the trailer drop bloodborne remastered on ps5 with an “Available NOW” tag. I imagine everyone would go crazy with that, and after Elden ring’s huge success, I imagine lots of new players being into trying bloodborne
I recently played bloodborne for the first time, it’s one of the best games I’ve ever played
I was one of those people that got Bloodborne through PS Plus. Downloaded it and didn’t understand what I was doing. Deleted it and left it in storage for years. My friend had been telling me for years how great it was. I wanted to get Elden Ring and he said if you want a game to get you into those Souls-Like Games this is a great starter. I picked it up, and it was a great experience once I gave it my full attention. The art style, animation, and variety of enemies made me fall in love with it. I have not finished it as I mainly play with friends since the summer started but I’ll get back to it when I get back to my school schedule of playing an hour or two in the AM or after class. If they Remaster it or Bloodborne 2 I’m gonna buy it the moment it’s dropped

I always thought that it would be cool if Bloodborne had an animated prequel series about how yharnam was like before it went crazy and the main characters would be Lady Maria and Gherman and it shows everything that led up to the events of the game like the fishing hamlet and the great ones and Maria’s death and Ghermans deal with the moon presence and the healing church and all that other stuff and how he met Maria and trained her

Bloodborne is an absolute masterpiece. As a first time Souls player, I was completely blown away by the combat, level design, atmosphere, and captivating lore. I just finished my first playthrough a couple of days ago and instantly started NG+.I'm utterly addicted and can't stop thinking about this game. The sheer artistry and craftsmanship on display here is truly awe inspiring. If you haven't experienced Bloodborne yet, do yourself a favor and dive in,it's an unforgettable journey.
Well, thats what every gamer think when they play a Souls game for the first time😅 I thought the same when I played the original Demon Souls. Bloodborne has arguably the best atmosphere in my opinion after finished them all, but if Im trying to be objective Elden Ring is still the most complete package of them

I just started a new playthrough and was surprised by the activity. Lots of bloodstains, ghosts walking through levels, and jolly co operation

Can confirm. After I had finished my first three playthroughs of Elden Ring, I went back to play through Bloodborne twice. I recently finished Shadow of the Erdtree, and I'm back to playing Bloodborne, especially after seeing all the Bloodborne references in the DLC.
My first souls game was Elden ring, and it took me 11 months to finally beat it. Earlier this year, i then got into Bloodborne…and i loved it. Loved it so much, i played it 7 times this year already. It then made me want to get into Dark Souls. So i bought it and while i waited for it to come in, I decided to play Elden Ring again new playthrough…and I actually beat it LITERALLY in a week! Bloodborne is a big thanks to that victory❤
Even recently, i beat every boss in Dark Souls 3 but couldn’t beat midir, so to make myself feel better, i speedran all of Bloodborne and later that same day, i fucking did it! I BEAT MIDIR!

I've platinumed this game a long time ago despite that i still go back once every 2 years
Elden Ring runs like a dream on my pc. Over 300hrs with absolutely zero stuttering, frame rate drops or any graphical issues whatsoever. I have it locked at 60fps & it runs perfectly, as does Shadow of the Erdtree. I've had other issues with SotE but they're not performance related.
Do you have an old Intel CPU or AMD cpu? because the DLC runs terribly on newer Intel due to not knowing how to handle E cores.
@@steveqi9309 no, I've got an intel i9 13700K & my pc is only 6 months old but like I said, it runs fantastic. I have seen other people who have had had quite serious stuttering despite having expensive rigs though. Most of Fighting Cowboy's streams had them too.

Sony's treatment of Bloodborne (and it's fans) is criminal. Can't get a remaster, remake, PC port or so much as a PS5 patch. Meanwhile, here's a full blown Until Dawn Remake nobody asked for. From needs to make a spiritual successor that's out of Sony's hands. A Dark Souls to Bloodborne's Demon's Souls. It's the only way.
Sony partly owns Kadokawa, which is the owner of FromSoftware. FromSoft would have to get the green light from both of them.
@@TheDV-ANT They don't need Sony's permission for a spiritual successor. That's my point. Just like they didn't need Sony's Permission for Dark Souls despite them owning Demon's Souls. It's a new IP, just a very similar game.

After finishing elden ring DLC I've actually started bloodborne again. It still holds up very well and I can appreciate it so much more because of elden ring like reading item descriptions, exploring different build and weapon options. Still worth playing right now I think. It ramps up difficulty from elden ring too so I'm enjoying the challenge.
Bloodborne is in my opinion is the greatest of the souls series. Nice aggressive play with lovecraftien horror. The chalice dungeons "that are basically a whole game in themselves" are brilliant. Would have liked to see the dungeons in elden ring more like the ones in Bloodborne but that's only a small complaint about that amazing game. We all want Bloodborne 2.

Reportedly a Bloodborne movie starring Bill Skarsgard is in development and Sony likes synergy. So the thought is that a Bloodborne next gen version is being held for when the movie launches.
If you play it on PS5, it really looks good and plays well. You don’t notice the frame rate after about 5 mins or so
I actually have been doing my first playthrough of bloodborne starting a couple days ago. Once I got my build up and running it’s been a blast. Great game to play after Elden ring.

I just played through the game for the first time. Had it for years after buying it on a whim and hated it because I couldn’t understand it. It took me playing through every other souls game this year to circle back to it and I can’t believe it took me this long to enjoy Bloodborne.

They won't do Bloodborne again because Sony will not give them the license to do anything with that specific property. They simply can't touch it in any way.

Btw, just finished a five (4) back to back playthrough of bloodborne (with old hunters DLC) last month far better experience than most recent triple A games.
The first time I played a FromSoftware game was 2016 with ds3 I struggled against Iudex Gundyr for like 30 minutes, and missed the message that taught me how to roll. I stopped playing the game after that. However, after getting a ps4 for Christmas 2016, the following summer for some reason I stumbled onto a video of someone playing Bloodborne, though I was cautious given my past experience with FromSoft games I gave it a try. Bloodborne taught me how to play Fromsoft games in a way for me that was fun and I fell in love with every aspect. I made a lot of friends since that’s how I got through bosses and areas was summoning, and it got me hooked. Because of Bloodborne I have not complete the entire series and all dlcs at least once if not numerous times
i think it's because Fromsoft keeps heading further and further into the mainstream, normie audience, rather than the niche they were in. Elden Ring is a prime example of that. Dark Souls 3 was their first big dip in that direction.
if they ever do a bloodborne 2, i highly doubt it'll be anything like the first one. Fromsoft is just too different now. It's just not a style that "normies" are into. the lovecraftian stuff is very, very niche.
in the same way i don't think they'd be able to make another dark souls games. they just aren't the same people, don't have the same mindsets, or goals, with their games.
Best game of all time. It pains to to say, it’s starting to show its age in some regards, although I think it holds up very well in general for a game that’s nearly a decade old. 180 hours in the game and I replay it every 6 months or so

Miyazaki came out in an interview a couple weeks ago and said he wants to do a remaster and bring it to pc, but Sony is the one that has to give the ok because it's an IP owned by Sony, and he said he could get in big trouble just by mentioning bloodborne
Every time I play through Elden Ring, I immediately start another playthrough of Bloodborne. I dont own Elden Ring on PC or Id def try this Graceborne mod. It looks so sick. SONY.....WTF are you doing??? Put the Demon Souls remake team on either a new Bloodborne or a Bloodborne remake. With the success of Elden Ring, OMG!!! A Bloodborne sequel would do insanely well.
My personal theory is there is some level of "bad blood" between Miyazaki and Sony. Like you mentioned, maybe it's that Sony wouldn't give Miyazaki the level of creative control he would want- or maybe it's FromSoftware wanting to self publish and Sony isn't willing to give that up. Regardless I think that something somewhere has caused the relationship to sour and the Bloodborne IP is stuck in the middle, a hostage if you will...
Red dead 2 bloodborne and Batman Arkham knight all deserve a remaster with a 4k 60fps update and a bunch of graphics options

Luke... The recovery system from Bloodborne has been in Elden Ring since launch! Use Malenia's great rune! In fact it got buffed a bit when the DLC launched and with the new gravity spin Ash of War, it is kinda cracked.

If they made Bloodborne 2 with level design in the same vein as Shadow of the Erdtree just on a slightly larger scale I think it would easily clear 10million plus in sales. Lots of people, including me didn't even have the opportunity to play Bloodborne until I jumped shi to Playstation 5 after the Xbone disaster. And because it was included in the Playstation Classics Catalog (RIP) Bloodborne experienced quite the resurgence as a result.

Wrong, Bluepoint is NOT working on a new IP. They’ve been very specific to use the terminology “original game”, but not “new IP”, there has to be a reason for this. This doesn’t rule out that they could be working on Bloodborne 2. I can see a path that they could be working on it in conjunction with fromsoft, the same way that Bloodborne was developed in conjunction with Japan studio, especially considering what an excellent job the did on the Demon’s Souls remake.
I’ve beaten Bloodborne 4 or 5 times. One of the few games I’d argue shouldn’t get a sequel or even a remake. The game is perfection😂

I play Bloodborne once a year. It's the reason I bought a PS4.
I would give anything for a complete remake 60 fos smother movments and just really top tier visuals there so much detail that you can't truly experience it's crazy after elden ring this wouod sell like crazy since elden ring came out all the other games have boosted sales why do they think thus isn't a good idea

It's time for you to use your platform to rally all the pro modders out there and push for a full blown elden ring mod, the massive popularity will blow up the internet.
I hope From just makes a new IP a spiratual successor to Bloodborne. Because Bloodborne is already a finished story no matter the ending you get. The dlc fleshed out some of the characters we dind't got to see in the main game. They could give it a update but they be better of focussing on a new world that's what From does best and it being based on Bloodborne.
The only problem with a remake of BB is the same a demon souls remake for PS5 was not the same. I think Sony should looks for BB 2 and also a remaster of BB + some additional content to make the bucks.

Elden Ring works great on my 6800xt. Not everyone is affected by the PC issues. Not saying that it's not a problem, but saying it like that makes it seem like it's bad for everyone.

Fromsoft's whole MO is "doing their own thing." Bloodborne was a one off and likely wasnt thought about as multi game IP. Developers also schedule games decades out sometimes. Of course things change, but id wager there were a few games well under way when BB2 was even beginning to gain traction. And with as artistic their games are, its likely they have a grand master plan in place. So unless their next game is a BB remaster, my assumption is we still have one more game before we possibly see anything else BB. Id love to be wrong though.

Luke the original bloodborne has framerate tied to game speed. It has to be remade. If you run it at 60 fps it runs double speed
Just touch it up a bit, get it running at a solid 60fps and have it release on steam. It’s ridiculous this hasn’t happened yet, when it’s easy money and there’s precedent for it from both Fromsoft AND Sony.
Miyazaki has already talked about this, he doesn't want to do a remake untill the hardware is advanced enough to make a huge difference, i personally think a current gen remake would be fantastic though.
Definitely, I got it through PS Plus years ago and I played it for the first time 6 months ago. I know for a fact Next Gen would do it justice and more. Even with the Original version I find myself amazed how beautiful it is

There needs to be a law for game IPs to have an expiration date. If the company puts a game or game franchise on the shelf them another company should be able to use it. Other than bloodborn shadow of war is a perfect example. The nemesis system should not be legally binded to WB if they shelved the system. Then, other developers have a right to use it. Sadly, this won't happen.
