    Early today so I thought I'd take the opportunity to say how great your content is. Thank you! I thought this trick was really well designed. I saw the magicians choice but still had no idea you were using a Svengali deck until the reveal. Lovely work.

    I've never seen that type of Svengali deck. I've always saw the ones where the force card is every other card. This is a cool
    concept.

    I like it. Good use of the svengali deck. I would instead have them either pick 2 different numbers from 1-10 for each of the legitimate piles and then add both cards together or just pick 1 number how you did it but still have them add both cards together. Imo it offers more purpose to the second pile than just showing them it would have been a different card.

    Very nice tutorial Pete! Just ordered some magnets and empty card boxes. I only have one problem, I don’t have a deck to take cards from. So where can I get cheap bicycle cards?

    • @magic_opi
      @magic_opi ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on where you live. In US and most countries in Europe you can get them online at a reasonably low prize.

      @@gaffedacademy that's awesome! You're really good at it. I've been doing magic since I was in middle school and I've got to say, I'm impressed with you. Watching you're channel, has really made me want to get back into doing card magic and I've made some of the gimmicks from your channel exactly the way you showed them to be made and I've fooled a lot of my friends. Especially with the top of the box gaff. That's a really good one for a many different variety of tricks. Hats off to you gaffer.

    I am a bit confused when you say it is a svengali deck...which normally has every 'other' card shortened. In this case , riffling through the pack would not always stop on a force card (7H). Are you saying that ONLY the force cards (7H) are shortened? So there will only be 17 short cards in this version of svengali? Just need a clarification, please!

    • @magic_opi
      @magic_opi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Only the force cards (7H) are shortened.

    • @gaffedacademy
      @gaffedacademy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes bud

  • @HeyIFoundACamera
    @HeyIFoundACamera ปีที่แล้ว

    But how are you forcing the 7H at the beginning? The 7H is every third card, but how do you know the spectator didn't stop on one of the two middle cards?

    • @gaffedacademy
      @gaffedacademy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All the 7s are short cards so always stop on short card
      Svengali deck means short card force
