Hey Kayleigh, thank you for this video. I find it really useful in knowing how far to go or not to go when it comes to retouching for a model agency. Could you tell me which settings you have on the spot healing brush tool? The hardness and spacing of the brush? Thanks in advance.
@@KayleighJune Thank you! I appreciate the quick response. I've been retouching for quite some time but i never got the spot healing brush to work seamlessly so i often just stick to clone stamp and healing brush.
Hey Kayleigh! Thank you for the video, very informative. May I suggest possibly enabling the “show click” feature, so that it’s easier to know where you are dodging and burning, for example? It’s just very difficult to see where you’re DB while watching on a phone. Thank you!
Hi Sergio! Thanks so much for watching 😊 This tutorial is definitely best viewed on a desktop/laptop at 1080p, but thank you for the tip! 🙂 Can I ask where the "show click" feature is? I've tried googling and can't seem to find info about it!
Kayleigh June Hey Kayleigh! Thank you for the response! I’m not quite sure which program you use to screen capture, but from what I remember, I’ve used screen flow and once I was in the editing process it gave me the option to show clicks and or keyboard entries. I’m not sure if that feature is exclusive to the program though :/
Would definitely love to chat more about this in future videos! 😊 It's crazy trying to use those types of platforms where you're literally competing against 800 other people who are charging like $2 for retouching! Haha.
you're a saint for giving out all of this tutorial for beginner and student alike. all I could say is thank you.
This is great info. Following WHAT you are dodging and burning is rather hard because you cannot follow your brush to well.
Wow. It’s amazing that you’d be so kind to educate those of us who want to learn! Fantastic video
Looking forward to more videos like this! Thank you :)
Thanks so much! :)
TOP ! I start shooting beauty and you learn me lot of this things :)! ITHNX so much.
No worries at all, thank you for watching! :D
Thanks Kayleigh! I learnt quite a few things from this tutorial :)
I'm so glad to hear that Sahil! Thanks for watching :)

Hiya! No worries at all ☺ The spacing is usually set at about 6 and the hardness of the brush is 0% and 1% flow. 🙂

Thanks Kayleigh for wonderful videos. I'm totally unable to follow where you're actually working as the brush is so small and you move so quickly...
Kayleigh! You're giving away the keys! Thank you
Haha, thanks for watching! 😊

Kayleigh June if you use QuickTime to screen record on mac, here’s a link on how to enable it! support.apple.com/en-us/HT208721
@@pedrochancleta12 Ahh I actually use OBS, there doesn't seem to be an option there for that! :(
Hi Kayleigh,
Do you have this image for retouch practice? I am a beginner retoucher, I would love to retouch this image and get your critique on it.
This was so helpful 👌
Thanks Nina! :)
What's more interesting to me is how to get a remote job as a retoucher (and I mean long-term, not gigs from those crappy micro-job platforms).
Would definitely love to chat more about this in future videos! 😊

Great tutorial, but I'm finding it hard to see where your brush is😩😩
