I have to confess that I was welling up a bit listening to this and watching the video. Welcome back Dubstar - different, changed, but that warm melancholy is still very much there - this track is in every way a Dubstar track. A comeback for any band always causes a nervous moment among fans - are they still great? Have they lost it? Have they grown through experience? My answers: Yes, No, Yes. So good to have you back.
Echoing that view although I believe "Watlz No. 9" is the more superior track relative to this one. Either way, their new album "One" cannot release soon enough.
Class is permanent. Dubstar wrote incredible, catchy-yet-moving songs in the early 90's and with this new album they've proved they can totally pick up where they left off…25 years are as if as none. There's no nostalgia here…Just the seamless continuation of amazing songwriting. Every single track on the new album is just lovely.

Loved these guys since I was 14, walked 2 miles alone to Woolworths to buy the debut album (with kick ass remixes) never stopped listening to them since .. and I only EVER listen to house music otherwise 😂
With every Dubstar song I get to hear for the first time, they never fail to deliver such a highly unique and satisfying quality. The very core of most - if not all - their material evokes such a depth of raw emotion in me; it oozes a momentary tingly bliss in a way that can never quite resemble other artist's music
Just pure magic. Although not massive these days (well, it's not the Wednesday's dance from TikTok), it is definitely first-class. The album "One" is... may I say 'integral'? I mean, its title is not only a numeral, it's a kind of quality. Excellent songwriting and arrangements! 👌Thoughtful, stylish, exquisite. With Sarah's delightful hovering voice flowing around, it feels like the world becomes a better place (even if some lyrics don't necessarily suppose it to), and the continuity of time seems restored. ❤🩹 Thank you, Sarah and Chris, and please don't stop!
