I heard this song in 1999 when my friends were on a college Radio show, and was looking for it ever-since, all I had was the melody and the knowledge that it came out before I graduated high school in 2000, every couple years I would try to look for it by listening to bands from that time with an alike sound and female singers in 2023 I STUMBLED across it on a 1990s Female Band Singer Playlist, I LITERALLY sat it AWE as I heard the music, and when I heard the keyboard and the chorus I knew I found it again.
Best feeling in the world when you finally discover THAT tune youv'e been tirelessly searching for,for years, happy for you mate, such a rush when it finally happens.I've been in that same exact situation a million times, and pre internet, trying, miserably,to describe much wanted tunes to bewildered record shop assistants was beyond infuriating, when it comes to stuff like this, internets a fucking godsend, truly.
Wow. This really takes me back, I was 10 years old in 1996, living in Detroit Michigan, and we used to have this chill-ass radio station that would play this song, and a lot of songs like this, late at night. Big Sonic Heaven is what the radio show was called, on 96.3. And I listened every time it came on. 20+ years I've had this tune in my head.
Чистый приятный голос и замечательный синтезатор!!! Когда то в юности слышал эту песню, прошло 25 лет и вновь услышал ее по радио, ностальгия!!! Недооцененный голос!
I remember hearing this song when i was about 14, and wanted so much to have this song recorded on a tape to listen on my walkman. Of course, we did not have the tools to find them so easily like now. And i still love the song as i did back then.
I so loved my Walkman and I remember feeling this way about certain songs too…..so thank you very much. The Walkman changed my life- just being able to have music whilst doing stuff. So empowering.
Makes me feel like I'm 7 years old again being called in for my tea. I miss those days when perfect music like this would drift through the walls of my sisters bedroom but I'm glad that in our changed world we can still tap in to these cherished memories. 💫
Still sounds really fresh. For some reason this was not on my radar at the time. I kind of remember hearing this on the radio thinking I like this but didnt delve in further I wish I had😊
This song reminds me of my mother and the feeling of growing up at her place. Thank you for the beautiful music. I'm still trying to make a proper cover version.
Love this track, At the time this came out I was mainly into Hip Hop, Metal, Classic Rock, Blues etc being a guitarist. But very rarely ya get a diamond in the rough that captures your soul and draws you in to listen to more of this artist. This is one of them classic tracks of the 90's with great memory's of good times in my life. Thanks Dubstar & Sarah Blackwood loved all your stuff since.
I heard this song in a tv show back in the 90s.somehow I found the song name and got the cd from the music shop. Got to discover a whole new universe. And now in Feb 2024, I see what they all looked like for the 1st time. 🎉
They used to play this on the Mexicali radio station ( I live in a border area) and I’d always try to remember the lyrics wish it was on Apple Music for download
I think i discovered this song on a compilation album in the 90s. I know this sounds weird, but I think the title of the compilation album was 'The Dog's Bollocks' 🤣 Anyway, this is a beautiful song that sums up that wonderful era perfectly.
This beautiful song always reminds me of the 1953 short story “The 9 Billion Names of God” by a Sci-fi author Arthur C. Clarke. A group of Tibetan monks have used a supercomputer to finally calculate and write down all 9 billion names of God (fulfilling a prophecy from their order from centuries ago). The story ends with the dismissive, sceptical Western computer programmers who the monks contracted. The Programmers are waiting to catch plane home when they hit the time they estimate the computer will have managed to finish the name list. One draws the attention of the other to the night sky above. “Overhead, without any fuss, the stars were going out”.
Great upload, but hope is there a way to fix the 'black bars'? Looks like a tape transfer because there are picture issues on the left of frame throughout, then YT has double boxed it?
A friend of mine asked a question while we were all tripping mushrooms the other day.. “what song do you think would play while you died if you were in a movie” and stars was my choice before I ever thought that’d be a question
Ah, so many memories! Who else misses the '90s? 😢😢😢
Going down memory lane again. 1997 🥰😍✨ I miss the 90’s

Closest thing to a time machine that we will ever get.
In this life anyway...
The 90s brought me here and i love it
I wish there was a proper collection of all the Dubstar videos either on DVD or blu-ray.
I agree!!
We should download these in case they get taken down somewhere down in the future/

Love the old songs from when i was young ❤
Absolute quality tune, been a favourite of mine for many years now. Never gets old 🥰🎶🤩🎶😘🌟
Absolutely amazing song. The more I dive into the old material, the most I like it. Your voice is excellent.
Still sounds really fresh. For some reason this was not on my radar at the time. I kind of remember hearing this on the radio thinking I like this but didnt delve in further I wish I had😊
I can't tell you how much this song touched me in the 90's. I was lucky to hear it in a small American alternative radio station.
You were in the radio station ?
Probably the most boring place you could listen to it
People like you disgust me
Я обожаю этот трек, он уносит меня в мою молодость. Thank you Sarah & Dubstars❤
I miss the days when songs conveyed feelings.
For my life I'm singing... Indeed, this is true.
First time I've ever seen this version! Didn't know it existed. Loved this song since 1997.

What a song. What an album.
One of my favorite albums and songs
I've still got the 12" single on vinyl from when this came out back in 95. Class tune then & still a class tune now 👌
This song reminds me of my mother and the feeling of growing up at her place. Thank you for the beautiful music. I'm still trying to make a proper cover version.
It’s such a powerful thing, the way music can transport you straight back to a moment in time. X
You've been my childhood crush growing up listening to this song and watching the other video clip with the stars hoover :)

Same. It was on a tower records compilation in 1997 and I never forgot it. It's so beautiful.
I love that songs have time travel qualities and can pinpoint a specific time. I used to love browsing in Tower.
@@DubstarOfficial Yeah - this song's currently sitting on top of my tunes.
Classic 🥰
Thank you so much. This video was the warmest place I've ever shot a video...! Sarah ❤
we love
If I'm not mistaken there is another version of video for this song.. Will be great if you can upload it as well!!
Fabulous record
I met this band by this song in 1997. I love the Sarah's voice and the beat. I prefer the UK video version (the big vacuum cleaner)
More haunting as the years pass.

Fascinating. I was talking about Rendezvous With Rama just the other day!
Awesome! Can we have the space hoover version as well please? 😀

Love those songs so much!!!! Kirsty wrote Mercury, a song we covered on our Make it Better album. Her voice is incredible.
The louder the better 😉🥰

Pleeeese where is the beautiful other video
I saw the another video version which one was the best.
YOU ARE BEST
The song is very beautiful but I prefer the Lacuna Coil cover because that's how I discovered this song, that will always be MY favorite version!
Good version! 👍🏼
2023, how many
anyone remember a video to this with vacuum flying in air or something like that
Мои 15 лет были офигенными. Но я бы не хотела вернуться
I hated this song when it was released in the 90s. I love it now though
I assume this was inspired either by The X Files or MIB. Waiting for the vacuum cleaner version upload.
So loved a bit of Mulder and Scully!!!!
Ok
I miss Client, too.
modern classic..the singer is dressed to play the star role in the Matrix ;-)
