This old man's war story is very interesting and familiar to me. My father fought in Burma too. He passed in 2015. My younger brother did a cassette recording of his life and war years, 17 years before he died. I digitized the live recording 2 weeks ago. It is in Twi language. I have to edict it now for the public consumption. I love this oldman.
I had tears in my eyes when he speaks passionately about the state. The black stars must be taken to him to learn some patriotism. Thanks mr Dey for this powerful interview
Thankfully, I was able to joyfully watch to this interview which is almost 1hr 40mins.long. Happy that this 99yrs old veteran has the presence of mind (by his own word) to tell this amazing war narration.Great and courageous veteran indeed. Let's support his foundation. Good for all to reach out.
My Granddad Fougth in the War toò, Cop Norgah Grumah he passed on 2 weeks Ago, was still strong and making us laugh with old stories at Age 99 ..God bless all the Veterans Well Done Kafui for engaging our heroes
the army is not a child's play, that statement is underrated today because of certain curved practices and polices, great interview Torgbui. this will go down deep for some of us
My children 6 and 4 returned from school last Monday and said guess what we did in school today… at 1100 we were had a remembrance service for the Military Veterans and 2mins silence to think about the sacrifice they made for us. Thank you Warrior.. Lest we Forget.
The defense strategy used by Addey's lawyer at 1:12:32 reminds me of the novel A Time to Kill. In the Novel, Carl Lee Hailey’s lawyer, Jake Brigance, used a similar approach to get Carl Lee off a murder charge. The insanity defense itself has a long history, first recorded in the 1724 case of Rex v. Arnold. Arnold was accused of shooting a man, but his lawyer argued he was insane and unable to understand the consequences of his actions. This case set the stage for the development of the M'Naghten Rule, established in 1843, which remains one of the most widely referenced standards for using the insanity defense in courts today.
We've lost so many of these veterans if not all (my grandad included) without ever "debriefing" them of all these experiences. Thanks RasKaf for salvaging the lasts of an ending generation.
I doff my hat for you, Sir. And to all the gallant veterans alive and departed, including my late Papa, Emmanuel Dulsimo Allotey. Sir, at 99 years and you still look handsome with a sharp collective memory. Mo! Ataankpa, Mo! May God continue to keep you in good health and peace. What's the title of his book? Where can I get a copy of his book?
The interview is too short 😂. Some questions I was expecting, 1. We heard some soldiers used charms 2. If there was a standout soldier especially from Ghana or African 3. The overall performance of our soldiers 4. How many Ghanaians veterans are still alive Thanks for your service WO, we’re really proud of you Sir! Great interview King Kafs
If the Suez canal was built in 18th century, which mean there were no sea 🌊 in that place so what sea did Moses point his staff for the sea to open up for his people to pass through?
Great interview by all standards. The old soldier's retentive memory is still intact .
