I love this film it has a great cast, I remember watching this as a kid with my dad who loved Richard Burton. Me personally I loved Roger Moore probably because he was James Bond at the time. I actually wrote this message before you even mentioned Roger Moore so that tells me we have the same taste. Great stuff.
I haven’t seen this film in a long long time. I spent the late 70s and most of the 80s watching anything with Roger Moore because of 007 or Richard Burton because of the War Of The Worlds album. I’d forgotten Barry Foster has a role in this. Another actor that I admired. Definitely going to have to revisit this. You mention North Sea Hijack. A very different role for Mr. Moore and another terrific movie.
I find I enjoy The Wild Geese a lot more as I've got older, and it's a great Sunday afternoon movie. I'd love to get a copy of the novel by Daniel Carney, but alas, it's a rarity without paying silly money. The Arrow blu ray (once again) is fantastic and well worth hunting out. BTW, there's currently a fabulous documentary about Roger Moore on BBC iPlayer if you haven't seen it, "From Roger With Love."
really enjoyed this review - thk u. on balance i would prefer if u included 'spoilers' . i had to got to wikipedia to find out what happened. Wishing u continued success with your channel.
Thank you for your kind support. Spoilers are always a problem, do I, don't I, but from now on, I will be giving all plot details and giving spoiler warnings for newer movies! 😁👍

I do have this movie, watching this review makes me want to watch it again now.
That's great to hear! It is a good Sunday afternoon type movie that still holds up well next to more modern action movies. 👍

Argh, that's annoying! I've had that a couple of times recently with movies I wanted to own they're like rocking horse s**t - they're so hard to find.
