- The world’s fastest selling airbag product - the Helite Turtle 2 has now gone wireless!!
The NEW Helite E turtle incorporates the same iconic design as the Helite Turtle 2 with the added benefit of autonomous inflation of the wireless, electronically activated airbag.
The E turtle incorporates algorithm technology into the vest which analyses the user’s movements and automatically triggers the airbag to inflate in less an 80ms. Detection also includes loss of control and accidents where you may not separate fully from your motorbike.

Take the massive helite logo off the back and I’ll buy one
It should also have the tether in the event the battery runs out or the sensors glitch out.
Then what would be the purpose of the battery?
To deploy where rider and bike don’t separate far / fast enough obviously.

Are you still keeping a tethered version?
hello does this vest have the same effectiveness and accuracy as the mechanical one? Some say maybe the electronic one will not trigger in some cases whereas the mechanical one will always trigger. Can you answer and help me choose, please? which one is best?
It's the opposite. The reaction time of the tether-induced airbag is longer than the 36ms it takes (at 50 kmph) to cover the tether’s length - because the „plug“ resists for a short time. The German Automobile Club (ADAC) tested airbag vests in 2013 and 2020 in a simulated crash situation with a car (pictures of one of the tests are included in your video). One of the Key results: Reaction time of tether-based vests is above 100ms and generally too long to alleviate the effects of a possible „first impact“ (I.e. crashing into the car. Second impact is on the ground after flying through the air). Hence, they recommend large electronic airbag vests. Moreover, cars crashing you from left or right hand side will also not be alleviated by a tether-induced vest.
This is definitely something I am consder buying. I had a major accident in 2016 and I am scared to get back on two wheels even though I enjoy it so much. Is it still adviced to use a back protector under the jacket with the HELITE Airbag vests?
I am buying this vest, but still wear my Dainese back protector undernesth. I believe it to be a good thing
Just bought one yesterday. In addition to the inflation, this model has a level 2 back protector installed in the vest. You don't need a protector in the jacket. Even if it doesn't inflate for some reason, you will have back protection. Hope that helps.
For Street bikes? What about Track bikes? Dirt Bikes .. & Snowmobiles?
Good for dirt bikes and snowmobiles
Where can I go to pre order??

What's with all the big advertising printed all over it?
Do you expect people to ride around advertising for your company for free?
Seems like a strange choice given that people are already aware of airbags and your company already has a high level of brand awareness. It's really made me disinterested in this as an option.
Logo is not cool in the back
You can do a very much smaller it’s ugly
Why not just put one on and pump it up with a bicycle type air pump with a gauge on it. They would always be ready with no consideration for impact time. They could be made for very little expense.
Riding a motorcycle all the time with a fully pumped up vest is a dumb as driving a car with the steering wheel airbag fully deployed.
What is this
