There's nothing more appropriate to this entire episode of "Mark finally being chased by the Lady he sought after" than the game putting her in a carefully picked location which, on it's own, allows Mark to almost walk headfirst into her _respectable, powerfull butt_

@@surimonizarro9791 yeh its around this point that i came to the same conclusion that it has to be mold related. the healing factor is the close to the family. and explains why they wanted ethan and rose at the start of the game. he has something they wanted and its got something to do with both of there body's.
He's probably moderating himself for Rose..even though he has no idea where she is and she isn't able to remember him saying "Fuck" at 6 months old- But he's preparing and we can give him that.
I mean, he did the same thing to his foot if he got caught at one point in the prior game. We know Ethan was infected with the mold and that gave him a healing factor. I do wish that it had been explained in this game, though.
