@DrBrianKeating This is a long shot but..... is there a way to contact you for an unusual situation?, it's impossible to put into words properly or within the space available? I made a rash decision before Dec last year, single man, 63, out of absolutely nowhere, Depression and anxiety have overwhelmed me and it relates to a house move that went wrong, the circumstances don't fill the normal criterion and I can not find anything remotely akin to it. It isn't relationship related either but I'm absolutely stuck and am very undecided about what to do but cognisant of time as it flies.
      Kevin.

Someone looks at the world through my eyes; I know it's not me; But I don't know that stranger is more familiar than I am; He knows me more than I know myself; Oh God, have you made a home in my soul?! Or I in your soul;? Neither do you let me live comfortably? ! Nor do you live comfortably; Let's make peace; Come to my heart?! Take comfort in my soul, in my spirit, in my body, Come make a home in my soul; Come end this world war;!? Come end this chaos; I have become a desert; I have become like a parched desert,; I have become thirsty for you; I have become fire, I have become earth, I have become hell and burned; Become the sky for me; Become the rain for me; Become water for me; Become like a surprise for me; Take comfort in my soul; You have driven me to madness and madness; You have brought my soul to my lips; Put your lips on my lips, give your soul into my soul and revive me;!!!! I started wrestling with God, I attacked him so much, I became so intertwined with him, I became so one with him that I did not know whether I was God or he was God; we drank so much from each other's lips, we overflowed with love and passion and longing. I stared into his eyes again and said: Who are you? Are you me or I am you; I am you; He breathed into my soul and breathed into my soul until I was filled with love and desire and madness and lust and seduction. I said to him: Come to me, become a bomb in my soul. Become a world war, become corruption and sedition and lust; He also breathed into my soul with all his power and strength; and in my soul, like a world war, it became an atomic bomb and fire and water. I stared into his eyes again and wrestled with him and intertwined with him and became one with him but I was not satisfied, I became thirstier every moment I said with love I do not know, God, am I you, or are you me?!

Pss , I see that you are trying to use grammatics , a couple of suggestion dear young boy : put spaces before and after a comma , also for periods . Last mistake , at the beginning , there's no need for a comma before an "and" , usually writing . I see that you are reading , go on young boy , keep studying , stay strong . Future has hope , like the present .

I'm envious of Dr Peterson's northern Alberta childhood in which he regularly saw the Aurora Borealis. I've yet to see it myself and it's on the bucket list, along with seeing a total solar eclipse. We do lose something when the background light obscures the beauty of the night sky, just as we lose something when our contact with nature is reduced. Most of us have a secret longing for a cabin in the forest somewhere, but almost none of us will ever end up in one. This was another excellent discussion. No doubt Dr Peterson is delighted with the news coming out of Canada today.

    Good evening Jordan and Brian
This evening I'm three days into a seven day holiday from my four month very new post as a Mental Health Nurse within elderly end of life care, in short.
Currently and very recently winning, however first three months of my post was akin to hell. Explanation for another time, for sure.
This evening I opened my window to the universe and cried at the beautiful sight of the moon and stars.
Lost my amazing Dad at the same time I started my new nursing post. Super grateful my Dad was my Dad.
Anyway this very moment I wish to thank both of you for passing years of sensemaking brain gym.
Without you Jordan my Universe may not have made the super sense it has made.
I also have to thank a previous patient of mine for mentioning you during an appointment we had many years previous.
Truly grateful for you both, indeed.

Based on the title, I thought this was going to be about the relationship between time/space and the miracles in scripture. I hope that aspect can be covered sometime. For example, where the disciples are all in a room frightened, post-resurrection, and Jesus suddenly appears in the midst of them. All we need is one more spatial dimension and you can appear in the midst of a cube without going through any of its sides. I think it was Nachmonides who concluded, from scripture, that there were 10 dimensions.

18:40 - that’s the weirdest thing I’ve realized about God. He is both things at the same time. I think the Tao symbol is spot on about the reality of things. The opposites are on the same coin with a little bit of the other reflected in them. Everything is white/black, small/big. It’s like how the universe is simultaneously enormous and operates using gravitational forces yet the small is extremely strong and operates using nuclear forces. God and the Universe is everything in every way. It is hard to explain but I see it more everyday.

  • @kloktagon

extremely curious: is Dr. Keating's whispering while Dr. Peterson speaks a part of his rote, or could it be more than that? :) More than an utterance of "that's right" was caught so far and I'm not even halfway through the content.
I'm going to assume, towards the audio engineering, that this would actually be something that is gated out of being audible in some similar settings, but in fact this is actually compressed upward in accordance with a priority for allowing softly spoken elements to come through with volume and not necessarily require much effort in post.
In any case, my thanks and attention abound to some of the most well spoken and punctual people on the planet, indeed.

Well, I'm happy JP has found something to relieve the stresses of life. Religion has helped a lot of people, but it's also hurt, just as many, if not more. So if a person was to study the main language's of the main religion of the world, what would they find in the difference between them? I am not religious, and I know we're not alone. But I would certainly understand that 3000 years ago, it would certainly appear magical. Great video, boys. Thanks. Peace ✌️ 😎 from Canada, eh.

Chapter 1: Maps of Meaning - A Framework for Understanding
At the heart of this work lies the foundational concept introduced by Jordan Peterson in his book Maps of Meaning. This work serves as a guide for those seeking to understand the complexities of meaning, individual purpose, and the overarching forces that shape our lives. Peterson's exploration of meaning centers on the idea that humans strive for meaning, not just as an abstract concept but as a framework that helps guide our actions, thoughts, and relationships.
We begin with Peterson’s thesis: that meaning emerges from the confrontation between chaos and order. It is this dynamic interplay that shapes our lives and actions, and the path we choose to navigate this chaos and order is key to our purpose. The human experience, according to Peterson, is fundamentally about the negotiation between these two forces. This is where the importance of maps comes into play-whether these maps are personal, societal, or spiritual, they offer guidance through the chaos that surrounds us.
