That's tomorrow occupied with exploring the VCA cv's on my two Moog Mother 32's. I never knew how significant they are until you're loving explanation :-)
Thanks Frank! how come nobody makes a "liner/log" - voltage controlled attenuVERTER? Is it because of bleed and sound when used as a traditional VCA? looks like the ADE-30 is discontinued and even the style in the video is hard to find.
Well it is so much more then a vca, if you are looking for all its features then a big yes. If you are only looking for a vca, you may be better of with another unit.
Well, you can do alot with the wave boss. I did another video on the uMod its the third video inthe series, it may be worth it to look at both. I do realy like the waveboss as a utility personaly, but its hard to state what others may want. Also I have two wmd tripple bipolar vca units so I have a lot of options. But as I said in the video the unit is kind of boss :)
+Ian Hoffman I believe it is analog. The first channel does not but the second channel is a dedicated bias/ofsett channel and that outputs a constant voltage (under voltage control) You can read about the module here: www.abstractdata.biz/products/eurorack/3x/ade30/
Extremely helpful and appreciate the subtle humor and Happy accidents like the Spring Reverb being on when you didn't realize. Thanks so much.
so helpful Frank, wherever you are, thankyou
Thanks for the time and effort you put into this. Very helpful!
Very informative. Good education.
Great series, thanks for all your hard work in making these! 👍

These are great - keep up the good work!
I like your conversational style, good videos
Thanks so Much! I've learned a lot and thanks for clarifying many things
my theory was right !!!!
The patch around 14:00 really reminds me of the sounds Squarepusher uses in his music.
2 great VCA videos.
Thanks for this! Looking forward for a part 3 :D lol
Amazing...very helpful!
Thanks for this! Very informativ. What kind of osciloscope are you using?

Your still recommending the Wave Boss? Got some VCA's happening and looking into wave shaping.

Thanks for you time Frank...VCA's i have wave shapers i do not

Would a Maths cover all the things a Wave Boss could do?
I belive it might cover many of its funcktions if the user was clever enough.
Is the Wave Boss analog or digital? Also does it output a DC voltage if no signal is plugged in?
