It would be interesting if you factored in health insurance and 401k contributions.... I'm assuming that would drastically narrow the gap between L/O and Co Driver.
Nope. Just a Google pixel 3. Nothing special. I have a selfie stick zip tied to the back of the truck. Allows me to easily put it on, take it off, and upload the video. Lens is super small... I thought it would get on there as well but didnt.
Been watching your channel since you started the lease I've been thinking of switching from company to lease for knight starting to think its not for me the margins are just to close for me but im rooting for yah
Why don't they have load boards for lease purchase drivers? Why don't they allow you to take the truck to what ever dealership you want to since you are making the payments?
@@truckingthesevenseas ah classic. I write mine on a yellow sticky i put on my dash, but same concept I want to see it to enter in the pre trip and post trip tablet. Nice. I really like your sun belt runs and I'm trying to hook up with someone in PHX to speak with them about doing that in nov-mar, then running 48 or upper midwest the remaining months I have contact Jeff Nicholson out of Indianapolis, but since I'm visiting family in PHX 2/27 - 3/1 I'm hoping to see the terminal and get a vibe or the place. Your spreadsheets are fantastic! Not crazy about Company Driver avg $.50/cpm but it is what it is as they say. I live in St. Paul, MN all the kids are out of the house one is in PHX along with folks and brother so that's my rationale for running the sun belt.
What is the safety like as a truck driver? I know the States and cargo trucks aren't as safe was they once were especially with valuables that you haul. Pretty cool how your wrote the numbers on the cargo. It must be so people can see it correctly in mirrors? I'm not sure.
Hi here fellow driver I enjoy your vids. Question on driving for Knight ..asan experienced driver ,could I start with them and potentially get more home time starting out to kinda adjust personal life then launch out to see the country like states I haven't seen yet, while considering OOP? I know thats a pretty complex question have tons of offers on the table but have heard so much about Knight and positive..sounds like a company I could potentially grow with
Honestly its totally dependent on your terminal and what they have available. But with the market being so bad now it'll make dedicated home time difficult for all drivers, experience or not. I wont mislead you by saying you will be able to get lots of home time at the exact time you want it. Markets bad and its terminal dependent so i really cant give you a clear answer.
When does the lease security deposit stop? Seems to me that's crazy since you were a company driver and they had to pay for the truck anyways. Also, you are certainly at risk for maintenance costs as a lease operator, where you wouldn't be as a company driver. They should be covering maintenance costs on lease trucks.
I like the soundtrack. Keep it up. Alot of dry loads are shorter stuff. Being in that regional area ain't terrible but for sure higher fuel. Look into getting your own fuel card of knight will allow you to. Most offer nice discounts
Grab a cheap rubber mallet next time you are at a Walmart. Using your hand for a hammer like that is going to end up giving you arthritis in your hands. Not fun :(

I like them suspenders you always have on 👌
They are very comfortable and underrated IMO.
I’m at phoenix terminal now watching this. Great intro and music.
Awesome! Thank you!
Great informative video bro. It was good meeting you at the Vegas terminal. Keep the vids going!
Nice meeting you to. I'll keep them coming...
Keep up these videos man. It'll be some serious motivation when I start CDL school in April
I will! Good luck!
7:28 is that the Sam’s club across the street from the terminal?
I love your channel, your honesty, and your positive attitude. Would you make more cross country
The loads would be longer meaning more miles less hassle. So almost surely I would. And the price of fuel is much cheaper.
Leasing is hard but if you can do this you’ll be a great owner operator
The snow hasn't been that bad out east
Definitely. Last year wasn't so bad either.
Good week 😊
You did much better with the fuel cost this week
1:41 to 2:00 how did you get that shot without your lens being covered in dirty water? Are you using RainX or something?
Nope. Just a Google pixel 3. Nothing special. I have a selfie stick zip tied to the back of the truck. Allows me to easily put it on, take it off, and upload the video. Lens is super small... I thought it would get on there as well but didnt.
Looks like the ABS issue is fixed, knock on wood
stay safe bro

Their way of doing it... Not defending it. My attitude is if i didn't want the deal then I shouldn't take it.
Does the company send you a paper statement of the work they do, thanks.😊
Only digital... And the info is very limited.
why do you write that number on the trailer with the marker ?
Its the trailer number. So I can read it in my mirror

Trucking is one of the most dangerous jobs there is. Top 5 I believe. Have to be prepared for it. And yes thats so i can read it in the mirrors.
Hey buddy I heard there will be a new rules coming up 03-11-2024, about 1099 to W2, how is that gonna affect the leasing program?

Ends at 22 weeks. And you are not wrong about the maintenance expenses...
I like the soundtrack.

Is it safe too say prime inc makes more?
You don’t want Texas at the moment.
