    So Rich, how many miles to the quart are you getting? hahaha. Haven't read the comments yet, but I can hear the HD leaking oil jokes already even if they didn't post 'em!!!!
    Great video. May I inquire as to how far the video time line is behind your actual?

      Mid September is when we recorded this. Next video takes us to Nashville TN to get the leak fixed. That took forever!! Then a quick ride to the Blue Ridge then we'll be caught up and only 3-4 week behind us. Thanks for always watching Willa. Cheers !!

    We have been doing long trips every year for 35 years and in the last few it's trailer and more and more camera and drones. What a great way to see the country on 3 wheels :)

    Well that WAS a delight, and you Two are showing real professionalism in your productions.
    I hope you remember me, the tent Designer guy.
    Its been quite a while since I last tuned in, and I must say with the perspective that a time gap can give, your new free ranging lifestyle has taken YEARS off you both !
    "Its not leaking, just messy". Total classic.
    I have been having my own mini adventures, (NOT!), with the Covid lockdown, but have been commissioning a makeover and classy custom restyling of my beloved 1999 Lexus LS400. (You can get different, but you can't get better.)
    If you ever have time to watch other Biker Vids on YT, I THOROUGHLY recommend 'Dick Whistles' and his occasional appearing Mrs., (Fannie). I kid you not.
    They are actually very respectable, and Dick is an American with American Mrs. type guy over here in the UK, no doubt Draft dodging.
    He is an ordinary Joe who tests and generally buggers about on bikes, with a penchant for taking his 125CC Chinese 'Mutt' road Bike up 'tracks' that it was never designed for, but doing a remarkable if a bit hari-karri (?) job of it.
    Not as polished as yours, but right from the Biking heart.
    Regarding his name, I have suggested it may be because he forgets to zip his fly while riding.
    Good advice for you also.
    Safe riding.
    .

      @@richardmourdock2719 I have opened my home to family and friends for years. There was always an extra teen-ager or traveling friends that dropped in for a night or stayed for months - maybe years. Hosting bikers is just an extension of my family and friends. What’s funny is my sons who brought stray friends home as teen-agers are now adults. When they found out I was hosting strangers they strongly advised me to let one of them know so they could be here if their father wasn’t home. 😂
      I am hoping that next year I get enough advance notice from bunkers to take some time off work and show my guests around the area.

    My 2018 Lowrider had 60000 miles on it. After the first 15k I was leaking oil from the air intake like crazy man, there would be oil literally splattered all over my exhaust and the right side of the bike. It was my only gripe with the bike before I hit a deer in CO totaling it on US 550. I'm totally unscathed, but so far I got 1.1k on my new Honda Africa Twin. Really enjoying it. Totally different animal compared to the FXLR.
    You guys inspired me, I decided I'm going to quit my job pretty soon once I become debt free and live on the road full time. Thanks guys!

    Hey guys great videos...we’ve been watching them in envy...we’ve done a ton of miles ourselves but not full-time... after watching this video I’d like to offer up a little pointer… Because the bike is so heavy and I see you struggle to lift it up in a few videos, I always turn my handlebars to the right all the way when I get off my bike and it makes the bike so much easier to stand up after when you get back on… If you throw your leg over and use that momentum plus the handlebars being turned to the right it makes picking that heavy bike up so much easier

    Don’t know if anyone has passed on a tip on how to lift a heavy bike off of its side stand. Merely turn your handlebars all the way to the right to shift the weight off the side stand. Sometimes just turning your bars to the center position is sufficient. Try it and see whatcha think! Loving the videos y’all. Fan from Arlington, TX

    It's good that you're using Bunk a Biker, it's similar to Warm Showers used by cyclists. Stayed in two warm showers and three churches when cycling coast to coast, should of used more. Can see the Harley needs to go on a Rotella diet.

    I quit using sync 3 because I would use a qt of oil every 1000 MILES. A MECH friend told you will burn that oil. Go to a full synthetic oil and he was right the oil consumption quit.

    • @TwoWheelsBigLife
      @TwoWheelsBigLife  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was told Syn 3 is a Full synthetic, That or amsoil is the only thing she has had. In this episode it was leaking out the trans.

    • @SFSideburns
      @SFSideburns 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TwoWheelsBigLife Syn 3 is chemically a blend of 60% synthetic and 40% petroleum oils but they can call it full synthetic. Castrol won a lawsuit in 1999 allowing them to market Group III oils as full synthetic.

    When was this filmed? I live in K.C. Mo., and it’s been too cold to ride. But then, you’re a lot tougher than me. I 70 between here and St. Louis is a bear! Isn’t it? Too many big trucks that’ll just pull right out in front of you. It’s the worst stretch in the U.S. Happy New Year!
