reminds me of My Precious "Shaddie"!!! He recognized the same words as Leroy. Maybe someday I can have a Dog that brings such happiness and joy into MY life again.
I've had three goldens, the last of which has just recently passed away. Goldens are amazing pets they are each individuals like humans. They are amazing creatures and will love you to pieces.
Its always nice to see ours 4 pawed friends show off !!! As everyone has said the one with treats in his mouth ....he deserves an award for that.!!!!!!...my lab was such a greedy child that there is no way he would have waited to chew the treat off once even near his mouth..he could go to the extent of stealing ur treats from your mouth!!!! he passed away early this year at 13!!! miss him specially his greedy side! :)

my only dog ever and a golden, Dickens, passed away at 7 because of cancer. It was devastating but I maintain to this day that Goldens are by FAR the best breed of dog ever. My Dickens had crimpy hair on his ears too :) . Leroy is beautiful.
Leroy is just like my Penny! That quiet "woof" before the big dog "WOOF!" Golden's are the best in the world! They are like little people dressed in a dog suit.
OMG my golden does the exact jump and hop when we ask her if she wants to go out !!! they are just amazing dogs. Don't let the negative comments get u down. It is evident that Leroy is a very happy dog !
aww golden retrievers are the smartest and the best, we had one when I was younger and he always knew what we were talking about/telling him to do. They are also the cutest! :)

My last Golden Retriever died a month shy of turning 14 two years ago. I cried harder when he died than when my paternal grandmother died. They're truly wonderful dogs and great companions.
It IS fun for the dog, dogs LOVE to learn new tricks. It's like playing a game to them. Provided that the trick is something a dog can learn and the owner is treating the dog well and enjoys it too, of course. Dogs that get to learn tricks and interact daily with their owners are much happier than the dogs who are left with nothing to do (and chew on furniture instead). Dogs love to interact with people, and they need to keep their mind and body busy most of the time. Just like us.

When I was a kid, I often woke up before my golden came to wake me up, so I always heard my father give the command, "Go wake up Jaimee." She was quite eager to do so, since she knew that I fed her morning and night.
Beautiful Leroy!!! And great name!! I miss my dog :'( he died the 24 May of 2015...he was sooo old..14 years old 2 months and 19 days...he was awesome!!! :(
I've had 3 Goldens. Best damn dog on the planet. Would never own anything else but a Golden.

We lost our golden to cancer too, it's common in the breed and heart breaking even though she was 11 I wanted her to live forever
