@@anwarmediagroup3171 I've never driven an '18 but they didn't change from '18 to '20, so I'm sure it's pretty much the same exact car. There was a mild refresh with the '21 model but I'm sure the '18 is virtually identical to my '20.
I love the 2.0 touring auto its just amazing PERFORMANCE FUN CAR no wonder all the car REVIEWERS picked the ACCORD as a Winner. not like the Boring GRANNY'S & GRANDPA'S CAMRY. ..LOVE MY ACCORD 2.0 TOURING !!
Bernie why do you say that? I had a 2004 Honda Accord that I bought brand new and it lasted a long time. Now I’m interested in this one but your comment scared me lmao.
Bernie I would love to know if u were driving and open the door if it would’ve gone in Park as well I highly doubt it. I asked because when you had it in gear and open the door it went back in park automatically. Please let me know
so you can keep your eyes on the road, to keep people from crashing their car. my car is like that, it's not blocking the windshield if you were wondering.
Listen Camry lover's sorry to break hearts but the front end on the Camry is hideous looks like a big plastic after market bumper. That's right Camry lover's when i hit the retirement home maybe I'll decide to bye one on second thought still be driving a Honda ☝
J Mas hi agree, I guess you either are an Accord or Camry friend. I had a Camry in the 90s, loved that car. I have a 2014 accord and I LOVE the looks of the 2018. It does look European, I love the angles the front and back of this car, love. The Camry is ugly AF.
Toyota Camry is currently the best selling, compared to the Accord. Not many people who buy Camrys care about heated or cooled seats. They buy Lexus if they want those fancy features. Toyota knows what’s its doing.
ELPJM09 Toyota Camry always outsells Accord. They do fleet sales. I had the 2014.5 Camry yes that was a thing lol and the 2016. What Toyota does best is move cars. They will practically finance to anyone whether the can afford them or not. You get tired of seeing everybody and the mamas driving Camrys. I dont mind seeing only a few Accords on the road.
Evan Mosley Actually Camry being part of fleet sales is a good thing. Companies like Hertz, Avis, taxi companies etc, want a reliable car that won’t give them any problems. Camry does that just well.
ELPJM09 let's be honest they also heavily use Chevys, Nissans, and Chrysler, 3 not very reliable brands. So there's that. Also one thing I hated with the 2016 Camry which I had the black and it seemed like everyone had one. I literally went to a Costco on weekend and when I walked out the store there was one just like my car on the side of it and the front. I actually went to the wrong car first. Like I said I rather not have a car that everybody and they Mama got.
I'd consider the Camry, but my spouse and I share a car so the lack of memory seats is a deal breaker. And also no Apple CarPlay. Wish they'd include those two features as they are pretty basic in this segment now.
Just bought 2018 and love its looks. It looks sporty and also luxury where as the 2017 looks more boxy and aggressive. I prefer the look of mine but also the the 2017 looks great as well, just would buy one.
The Camry is better. It has no turbos or CVT and it's styling is unique. I read somewhere that Toyota is not a fan of turbo engines. They know the problems and reliability issues that come with them. I don't think turbos belong in a 4 cylinder. The Camry has 4 Cylinder options with more horsepower and their non turbo. It seems the Honda engine will work harder and wear down faster. Toyota knows what their doing.
The Accord 2.0 is a proper automatic, not a CVT. And turbo engines are not nearly as problematic as they were 20 years ago. With few exceptions, turbo engines now have the same reliability as non-turbo engines.
ELPJM09 Looks like you are the one that doesnt know what you are talking about. Toyota are good at what they do, and Honda are good at what they do. Honda wouldnt release something that would jeopardize their great reputation. Just so you know, they have tested the cars in Japan way before having thrm released here.
LanEvo21 Camry and Honda are not in the same league anymore. Toyota tops Honda in reliability and design. I've heard bad things about Honda transmissions and turbos. Toyota has kept their reliability ratings on top. I'm sure Camry was tested in Japan too. Although that doesn't matter, look at Nissan. They are a Japanese brand but their reliability ratings suck.
ELPJM09 ahhhh, I see where you are getting at. Accords do have transmission failures a lot in the past. You are right. The turbo thing is new to the US, but we shall see. I am still Honda over Toyota though due to the styling. This year though, Camry in my opinion do look better than the accords. However, the Accords though has less HP, is actually faster 0-60 than the Camry. Technology on the Accord is also beyond that of the Camry. To each their own.
Lan Evo You are right. We all have our different opinions about what we like. At the end we will get what makes us happy. Every company has their good and bad. Toyota and Honda are the best Japanese car makers and that's what matters.
I recommend to drive them back to back. Car & Driver 10-best award 32 years now. North American Car of the Year. It's just a great car, year after year, where it not only has utility, but also is fun to drive. I've owned many generations of Camry's & Accords. If I need a 200k mile $2,000 car, I'm looking for old Camry before Accord. If I'm looking to enjoy the drive, I'm looking for Accord.
Car maker of tomorrow..that is funny! This car is so far ahead of Camry..faster handles better and much better looking. How about interior space? Trunk space? resale value? Android Auto Apple car play? should I go on?? If you want a Taxi or Uber car or a Florida car driven by the snowbirds buy a Camry!! if you a real drivers car and A much better interior and space and overall package for your $$$$ buy an Accord..
With all due respect, looks are a matter of taste but handling is a measurable dynamic by which the Accord trounces the Camry. The cars are not equally as good. Overall, the Accord is a substantially better car by matter of measurable dynamics. However, some Toyota loyalists would never betray their brand and buy the better car. Others would knowingly concede that the Accord is a better car yet still may prefer the styling of the Camry. Bottom line is: Looks are subjective. Performance is not.
I just got a '20 Accord Touring 2.0T about 4 months ago. Loving it! This car is awesome! You get so much car for the money. The engine is a jewel.
Thinking about picking one up. I'm very close. do you notice a big diff from the 2018 Touring vs yours (2020)?

Beautiful accord sports sedan. .
Just got the 2018 2.0 touring sport. I love it !!
Have fun!!
You cant compare a Camry to an accord the honda is faster, smoother and more luxury its just a better car in every way imaginable.
Les Acronym no kidding!
The Camry is used more as a taxi here in ny lol
THIS CAR HAS A LOT OF STUFF AND STUFF!!!
way better then the Camry!! good job honda
at about 5:45 you say it has a 7" touchscreen it's 8" I believe on all but the lowest trim.
The screen is up there because it is easier to use and see without taking your eyes of the road
I guess ill be the only one leaving it in sport mode when I decide to buy
Accord needs to improve its sitting position and use higher quality materials for its front seats. There is just not enough padding in the seats.
What is the black rubber looking piece sticking out of the door? What is it for?
Dealerships have them on so people don’t ding the doors
@@BernonCars thank you for your quick reply. What are they called? Is that something a regular consumer can buy?
Not exactly sure, it’s a little foam block with adhesive on it
how you think this car will do long term wise? this is first mode for the 10thgen. any idea?
I haven’t heard any problems from 10G owners, so I think they should be fine, but it definitely won’t last as long as an old Accord
Bernie why do you say that? I had a 2004 Honda Accord that I bought brand new and it lasted a long time. Now I’m interested in this one but your comment scared me lmao.
Nice review man!
Thanks!!
Like from Moscow! Honda is awesome👍🏻
Wow, cool! Thanks!!

Might be something worth a try... :)
This offers more than the Camry, I'm just nervous about the engine.
I haven’t heard any problems or complaints with the 10th Gen’s
No issues with honda's engine or transmission.
I have this same car and a 2011 Accord with 231,000 miles no engine or trans problems.
Max 160 km ?
8 inch touch display in touring trim, not 7
My bad, sorry about that!
Why do these car makers keep glueing iPads to the dash?
so you can keep your eyes on the road, to keep people from crashing their car. my car is like that, it's not blocking the windshield if you were wondering.
I wonder how you’d react seeing the Tesla infotainment system 😅

wheels are 19's. Not 20's
Great video, new sub.
Thanks!!
Wireless phone charger doesn't work with case your phone in the accord
It actually worked for me a few times too, just off camera
Interesting. May depend on case.
9 min in to the video,
Just have to say good job with the review!
Thanks!!
Those are 19 inch wheels
Now that you have a REAL car ..... now get a REAL phone! ;)
hint.......... Android lol
I’m happy with my iPhone! :)
I really believe that they Forced Honda to copy Audi designes, because they dont let Accord being solled in Europe....
Love the car but the motors are options are a turn off for me. Big NoNo
Охриненная тачила, мне пофиг понимаете вы меня или нет, один хрен в россии ее не будет...
lol bodies
It's so hideous...hideous 🤢 my 2016 V6 looks way better hands down...Camry is the clear winner in this segment.. no turbos and ugly hunchback rear

Still going for the V6 Camry with 301hp. Hands down, Accord has lost its flavor to Camry. Toyota is the car maker of tomorrow.

Michael Harris 301 hp that still is not quicker than an Accord 2.0T. If you want Cylinders and HP buy a Hemi Charger.
Looks and handling are all opinions, both are just as good, it all comes to preference
