Can't get them credit for that because we can't even adjust what the players or incoming freshman wear in dynasty but we're gonna be excited over having the ability to edit what fans are wearing..yeah can't take EA seriously lol
Hopefully they will add more customization, in terms of rivalries, school grades, and pipelines. Developing a backstory though for why a school that is not near you geographically is a rival is fun too though. For now, I think it might be interesting to try out some offset stuff where you build a weaker school but you replace Alabama. Gives you a leg up in terms of recruiting because of the program grades but the first couple of seasons still have the players with lower attributes.
I’ll take being able to create my 99 safety and try to win a Heisman in team builder as a consolation prize to not having create a player. For year 1 anyways. Glad to have it back.
I created a team called Great Adams University when I was a teen back in the early 2000s that I've created incarnations of over and over again throughout many different games. I had a 33 year season with them in NCAA14. I... I can't believe I'll get to create them again for a new game of this current generation. This is the closest I've come to my dreams coming true.
Not being able to change numbers in dynasty mode is crazy … Miami currently has two #6’s on offense and I can’t correct it … and not being able to edit or adjust generic players don’t make sense either

I hope the next patch or update allows you to be able to play non user games like it did NCAA 14. Really miss that and enjoyed that being able to play every game every week

Or the Texas State Fighting Armadillos with Paul Blake lol Although replacing a team I’m kind of sad on but it’s a new thing. I would love to be able to build a team, insert in, have them start in as an Indy conference team and maybe be invited to join a different conference as they improve!

You can add custom logos but there may be something to detect actual copyright logos so I'm not sure if you'll be able to recreate exact colleges or not, just something to think about it.
Agreed to the fullest teambuilder teams on NCAA 14 don't have any history attached to them so you basically make your own history far as wins,losses, top 25 record rivalry record everything is what you put time into I don't want to inherit another school's history.
Because of the lawsuit that kept us from the game for a decade where they cited ‘user created rosters’ in the settlement. So now, you can edit the players who are generic place holders for those who didn’t opt in or make players in team builder but they won’t allow you to create players who didn’t opt in.
If y find a player that opted out of the game you can edited them! Like usc back up qb n starting running back didn’t opt in so on the game they made up players, and you can edited them. Dame position, rating n all
You can edit them in the home screen before you start your dynasty. That's it. Once you're in dynasty, you cannot. And you can't edit recruits who you sign to your school 🤣
@@brianmudd4964 you definitely can edit them n dynasty that’s how I figured it out! You can’t edit they ratings n dynasty which you’ve never been able to do! Edit the rating then save the roster, upload that roster for your dynasty
eric u need to tell them bring back create player offline man because i want to make and offline dynasty with my create 99 own player where i can play with the whole team unlike road to glory and asap crazy how they take out where u cannot create your own player tell them to add that back and u promise u everybody wants it back too

Hope the NFL catches up the college football sometime soon. The presentation of college football is a million times better than the NFL. Like, why are there no mascots in the NFL? Why can they only have 4 uniforms and 3 helmets? 🙄🙄
do you know if they're gonna fix the sim engine and make it so you actually have control on stuff like how often your team runs and passes and if there gonna make it so the school records from the team you replace with your teambuilder are gonna disappear?
cause i loved playing dyansty but the sim engine is literally so junky that you basically just have to hope your team wins while all the stats make no since which really makes it like wayyyyy less fun lol
like all of this stuff seems relatively easy and even was stuff in ncaa 14 because the sim engine for this game is so much worse then 14 because even though the fixed the easy of the good teams randomly becoming bad the simulation engine is much worse that it doesn't matter since even game is basically just a coin flip anyway which they reallyyyy need to fix
After some time I discovered that we cannot FULLY customize out teambuilder teams. We can’t choose names, abilities, not even the type of player they are… I’m severely disappointed in this game
If its anybody that's looking to create player, There is a way... You'll have to scroll the roster and a non UIL player.. You'll be able to Edit his name, Size, Ratings..Cant change the number, or the facial or Skin...Its an option

You can add custom logos but there may be something to detect actual copyright logos so I'm not sure if you'll be able to recreate exact colleges or not, just something to think about it.
