- In this Cabo San Lucas Mexico vlog series, I'm taking you to Cabo San Lucas Mexico in the Baja Peninsula for some fun in the sun, along with showing you some of my favorite places to eat in Cabo, ...AND, I'm not traveling alone!! I'm taking my first EVER group of friends with me, and we'll be staying at my pad in Cabo (you'll see more of it in future episodes!!). In this episode, we're flying to Cabo San Lucas Mexico from Denver, with my friends, and then getting settled at the house! After that, it's dinner at one of my favorite Sushi places in Cabo!! I have been to Cabo San Lucas and love, love, love it there. It is so much fun and so much to do as well. I had the best ever Mexican food there and the guacamole was to die for. We stayed at the Westin Regina and it was so very accommodating. We had massages, ski jetted, ate wonderful food, went to Land's End by glass bottom boat, to name a few things we did there. Also, bought some of the most beautiful silver jewelry (one of a kind) - got into lots of trouble, but well worth it. Hope you all went to some of the fabulous silver markets there - too beautiful and such workmanship! The people there was so very friendly and I would go back in a heart beat.

Omg dang! Mark Felice how awesome is this! When you travel you light everything up. When you say "your place" you mean...? The WOW factor is incredible, everything is delightful, food is "make me faint" good looking. So are we going to see more? Hope so, cannot wait :) You look like you love it as much as your other travels. The drone "fine" well even Casey Neistat has had years of HELL trying to take his drones on his travels, aiyee! Hi there my friend! Thank you so much! I hope you and dh are doing well. We're staying at my place in Cabo, which you'll get a tour of in this coming week's video. It's a golf villa on Tiger Woods first ever golf course, El Cardonal, #30 something in the world lol. Most people buy in to the resort for the golf, I fell in love with the home. The other reason I did it was because I thought the place would be perfect to host a group of people (up to 8 guests), and I always wanted to take groups of people down there, which I'm finally exploring!
If you haven’t been to Cabo give yourself a favor and come! It offers everything! From amazing weather, beaches, restaurants, golf courses,nightlife and unbelievable nature just minutes outside.Real paradise favourited by celebrities, pro athletes and rockstars!

5 inches of June snow up here in SW Montana a nice break from last weeks too warm too early ...a little Cabo was much appreciated Mark...I love fishing in Cabo...the seafood is just spectacular...your pleasure in travel is such a pleasure to see...never lose the wonder amigo
wow...snow!!!! Yeah, I was heading to Cabo after my summer vlog and figured, well why not film...and thankfully we did because we had extra content to now release since we haven't been able to travel.
When they ask you if you have anything to declare, you should declare anything of value that you don't want confiscated. When you declare it is you who sets the price for the item. He could have said 100 dollars. When bringing electronics you are required to pay the sales tax which is 16%.
Now when you push the button and you get the green light you pass with all your stuff without them inspecting, if you get a red light and you did not declare your items of value, they can simply confiscate them. They were lenient in the sense they allowed him to set his own price and pay the16% tax.

It was not a fine, it was the import sales tax. It was charged by customs not the police. The U.S. does the same. I took my car to have it painted in TJ. When returning to the US I told the immigration officer I had just painted my car there and was pulled over and had to pay a tax for that.

Great sushi in Cabo, but please check out restaurants away from the marina. Much better pricing and portions. Been going for many years and the place below started as a 10 person restaurant and is now 2 stories in the Walmart plaza. Koi Sushi

September is hurricane season and tourist go home.However, it's a good time to go if you want to get better accommodations and a better $ rate on hotel and food! With no crowds!

You got to pay to bring a drone in the country???? Is that only for Cabo? I will be there in October and I'm definitely bringing my drone. Did they ask you about electronics or did they physically see the drone?
They physically went through my camera bag, I believe they triggered the red light when I went thru customs, the only thing they literally looked for was the drone and immediately pulled it out. Put it in your checked luggage.
Mexico had 3,484 confirmed new cases of COVID-19 yesterday. I don’t think that I’ll be going there any time soon.

I am from the municipality of Los cabos, the name of the city of the airport you landed is San José del Cabo, not Loreto, Loreto is located North of our state obout 333 Miles North, the complete name of the city is Cabo San Lucas, everybody shortens the whole name, and that causes confusion, so Los Cabos is a municipality not just a city.

Loreto is a small Town and there is not much to do around there,but they have in my opinion the most beautiful and stunning beaches, it is the Best place to simply relax and enjoy, also they have delicious mexican seafood, and a bunch of water activities.

You go to Mexico to eat sushi? Japanese food? Food that you can get almost anywhere? 🤔 It's like going to Italy and eating a hot dog.
I would respectfully disagree as the Baja peninsula has some of the best and most exotic fishing and fish in the world! So, yes, enjoying these varieties prepared as sushi is quite unique to the area! A lot of countries and cultures inject their culture and flavors in international cuisines. Example, THE BEST American hamburger I ever had was in Malta! Who knew?! Keep an open mind my friend! 😘

what have we understood from this fellow youtuber? he knows how to use the internet, is able to book a ticket (perhaps even multiple), he knows how to walk, how to use a camera (perhaps even multiple), how to give cash to various people around the globe. He knows how to give traveltips (the most obvious) to other travellers or tourists. He knows how to eat food in restaurants, also to order it first. He knows how to represent americans all around the world. He barely remembers the language of the country he is in. His pronounciation is always wrong of the languages he doesn't speak. Well no wonder, he doesn't speak the language, nor does he care. He makes things up as he goes along his trips, obviously saying wrong things about what things are that he sees or "experiences". The average american or "citizen of the world" as people like to call themselves nowadays know an average of 180 words (of their own language). Our Eurotrotter is example for that. The best we can do with these useless videos which only damage the local cultures by luring more of these m*r*ns into thinking anyone wants or needs them there (people treat you friendly cause with your money, these people pay their bills and for the meals of their children), is watching them for sociological studies, to ponder about, how it is possible that humanity got so pios, decadent and outright blunt, and what to do to reverse that. After all your president represents your state of mind perfectly. You're no different from him Mr. Eurotrotter.
You must have came here before the pandemic cause everythin is closed here and its weird how they charged you and asked you how much you paid for the drone. My brother always brings his and he never gets charged
Hi Julio, yes I was there in September, and hopefully, will return soon. Was just reading Cabo is supposed to open in July in a 5 phased re-opening through 1st quarter 2021. I hit the red light going through customs, and of course, the officials saw the camera bag and went right for the drone lol....learning lesson! Pack it in your checked luggage next time! lol
Yes they say the 23rd of this month but I doubt it. And yeah lol it's sad to say but my ppl here are abusive with tourist. Like why you gotta be like that. But glad you enjoyed it! I'm new here I kinda got the boot from LA lol but it's a nice area.

Why is it bogus if you didn't do your research. As a drone flyer, I make sure to research the rules when I go to any country. The rules can even differ within certain states within a country.
It was less of a rule and more of a "gotcha" fine.

Cabo is way to commercial for me. Reminds me of Cancun. Not into that.
I just want to say that skiting about ripping off the Mexican people on the price of your drone is not helping them. The tourism industry which they depend on for their livelihoods has been decimated. I hope you made up for it by giving huge tips or gave to anyone that you thought needed it coz unlike some countries the people are not monetarily rich nor are they being compensated for their businesses being shut down during this time with loved ones dying. So yeah would appreciate a less cavalier attitude. Sure, you're out to have a great time but please remember these beautiful people are putting themselves and their friends and families at risk serving you and those coming to party on. Sorry if this sounds like I'm strong arming you but just want those coming over to think a bit more about others than just themselves.
Thanks for your comment and I appreciate your thoughts. That said, what I'll share is nothing about that experience with the airport officials felt like it was supporting the people. It all felt very "scammy" with no direct benefit to the people, which you rightfully are concerned about. I have been traveling to Mexico since I was 2 years old. The Mexican people are some of the most kind and generous and welcoming people in the world. The experience with the government officials at the airport I would suggest actually hurts the locals, because it creates a very off-putting taste in your mouth for the country (which I was easily able to shake off)...you're excited to travel, to be amongst the locals, to share in the culture and food and then BAM, the airport officials welcome you to the country with a fine...which we all know ends up in their personal pocket, not the pockets of the local business owners and people...that's what I have an issue with....they took $80 of my money that would have actually made it into the pockets of the folks that you are concerned about...so as far as my cavalier attitude, it was an attitude of not being happy at this scam which in NO WAY supports the local people, and as far as coming in to "party on", those days my friend are long gone...I think you'll see in the upcoming episodes just how much we interacted with and supported the locals, and how that is very different than being pulled aside by the airport police and paying them off in cash simply because they saw I had a drone with me, which ultimately is used cinematically to promote tourism to Mexico, which again, helps the locals and businesses...so again, I do appreciate you sharing your thoughts, but the behavior and scam of the airport officials actually hurts those folks you're concerned about and may make people think twice about a return visit.
Hi Arty, I doubt very much that the money paid for the fine went to the economy or the Mexican people. I am pretty sure it went in his pocket. They spent money at the restaurants supporting the local economy and helping hard working honest people there at the restaurants.
