This is the kind of Satiafactory aesthetic content I need. I am terrible with my anesthetics. My most ambitious factory is logistically sound but a nightmare to look at. Having different ideas and seeing several executions is a really great way to get my brain jogging! Thanks!
Finally found the kind of video I've been looking for! Build techniques! I just kept seeing showcasing videos and not any that showed the thought process of getting to those great builds. Thanks for this
Refineries embed very well into the floor, with the inputs and outputs directly in the logistics floor. Feels like it was designed intentionally for that as an option. Gives your factory a very clean look.
Such neat designs. I always struggle with creating good looking factories. But the best part (for me) is the trick at 17:00 with the walkways that are not at multiples of 4m high . This will change my gameplay for sure. Never again must i use 12m high floors for the assemblers. Just great! 😃
All things u showed in vid are too hard. I just make concrete box with some spaghetti inside (but since I dont see it my factory has no spaghetti) and by copying that blueprint u can make as mach production as u want. And in case u really want to make it look cool, u can build a coverage around your whole maincraft stile factory.
Its actually a very good topic! Using machines for decoration only. People do that with pipes already. Haven't seen belts (last one, colored) at all tho.
great video! i've been searching high and low for a layout video for inspiration. i don't know if you got would want to or not but a logistics network video to accompany this would be great. I have the hardest time coming up with a decent design only to get bogged down with how to run the logistics without messing up the aesthetic. just getting an idea of if the spaghetti is just hidden somewhere or if there's a great deal of thought going into the logistics before hand would be amazing. again great content as always :)
Lovin' the videos dude, I've only been playing the game for 3-4 weeks and I'm at nearly at 200 hours... safe to say I'm addicted. Your videos have a great chill vibe. I edit for a few TH-camrs so I have a decent idea of what works well. I think if you had a higher quality microphone you'd have considerably more subs. Unfortunately people are vain, a lot will see a low sub count and poor audio and instantly click off. Regardless, you're the only Satisfactory creator I've been watching, keep it up!
Thanks dude. Yeah I need to upgrade my mic set up and work on my sound. I used to be a video editor as well but sound editor was something I never did to much of but if you watch some of my old video it's definitely gotten better. But I appreciate the feedback and your views and glad your loving the game. Thanks dude
Back in Update 5, I did two levels of stacked Foundries that was belted underneath. I should revive that as a blueprint. Looked super clean if you didn't look in the logistics floor beneath it, and that was still pretty well ordered but cramped.
Thanks again brother this is really helpful. I liked the stacked especially if you have to do Modular Frames, that would look cool. 😎 I will do that as I have to set up my Heavy Modular Frame Factory. Nice intermission!
Thanks for the building tips! They really look amazing. The only issue i have is to plan them out right in the beginning and adopt your technique. Haha. Would you advise to start such building techniques at the start? Or try to change them to these later in game? 😊😊
No worries. I tend to rush to unlock trains then delete my spaghetti and then rebuild stuff clean. But its up to you really there is no right way to play except one rule "if your enjoying the game your doing it right"
Great video and really appreciate the little tips like the 5m walkway one. Where can I find the blueprints to download? I'd really like to try your raised assembler blueprints
I'm really disappointed in how Coffee Stain has handled their involvement with Lumen. Not being able to see reflections unless you look at the light is a significant downgrade from their previous update. The command prompt barely helps and makes the graphics look worse.
Yeah it's a shame. But I guess thier first priority it to make the game work for the majority of player who probably aren't gonna have powerful enough system to handle it. But now 1.0 is out they might be able to add some more settings or improve it with later updates 🤞
The amount of memory and computing power they save by turning off lights not visible to the player is probably staggering. Although I don't like it, I do like my game to run higher than 30 fps.
@@kylehodson8542 yeah 100% agree i just wish there was a setting to turn that on so I can get some nice shots of things. but I understand the dev team cant spend time on something that only 0.0001% of their playerbase wants
Your blueprints need to chill. "2 ass raised" "Stacked ass" .. "You might not like cables clipping through things." >> Meanwhile, cables IRL all within your walls and floors of every building you've ever been in your entire life be like..
Haha yeah I'm pretty bad at naming blueprints. That's exactly why I done care about clipping wires though everything as that's how it is in real life. But I know how some people are. So thought I'd point it out
This type of building is from mind of a true architect...if you seen my phase 3 factory right now all you would see is spaghetti spaghetti spaghetti lol
Only really made it through the first couple minutes, as I suffer from misophonia and the constant teeth smacking made it impossible for me to proceed. The first bit was lovely so I'm sure the rest would be too. Good job!!
My factory is consists of platforms in machines I don't know how to build architecturally and I'm good thanks I can't even build a nice looking Minecraft house trying to do this can't.
Ficsit requires the upmost efficiency. Aesthetics and *bling* as they used to say on earth only hinders this goal. Speaking of efficiency…GET BACK TO WORK!
try looking up brutalism. it's very blunt form of architecture that might agree with your no-nonsense methods. also, a fundamental part of architecture is message-what do you want the building to say? ...."the plains are beautiful"(lots of glass windows to look at the sunrise with) "industry"(lots of metal, pipes, bracing and concrete).... function itself can be the point, even-the architectural school of thought known as "functionalism", which argues that form should serve function. there are ways you can make even obsessive pragmatism work. don't give up!

No worries! That's kinda my aim to show the thought process not just the end result, so really glad you got that from my video.

I'm seriously loving the ASMR sections. lol. You're quickly becoming a favorite of mine. You also have a great voice!
Haha so you're down for a 4 hour Satisfactory ASMR videos?
But seriously thank you, I'm glad you're enjoying the videos.
I really like your different looks and I appreciate your tipps. It really helps me a lot👍
Cool dude glad to be of service
I love it mate, it's now giving me more ideas on what I can do with my factories.
Wicked glad you liked it
Thanks for the stairs tip as i have a few that go into the floor , with this tip not no more , off to fix them once i find em
No worries.
Slick designs! I need to use blueprints for machines more, I mainly use them for decorations.
Yeah I use them for decoration more than I do for machines but it's definitely good when I do
Some really interesting ideas here. Thanks for putting this together! Subscribbled!
Awesome, thank you for the sub!
Loved the look of the embedded converters in a line. Ominous indeed.
Thanks dude

Cool gald the tip helped you.
One last cool layout I can think of, though much more complicated to set up, is the circular layout.
Yeah I I might do a sequel video and include some more complex layouts
Really nice design work! Thanks for the tips - I’m also terrible at aesthetics.
Great video! Not only are your ideas very neat and helpful, the video is also very well made!
Arr thanks 🙏

Don't worry we all have boxes of spaghetti hidden away in our builds
Awesome tip with the catwalk stairs, I did NOT know about that one! :)

+100 for the stairs trick at 17:15
Yeah I've thought of a way to combine it with a pillar to get stairs any length you need but need to test it out
Sandwich style is what I go with. Makes for factories that look like skyscrapers and are nice and dense. Plus it makes the map look populated oddly 😂
