So many questions: How does Chris make climbing look so easy? How does Ben get away with the stunt riding? How does Francis find the time edit these videos? Did you all check out the Manly Shop? A great trip guys.
This series has inspired me to commute to work on the bike for the first time in over 18months (54 km) round trip. Whilst not quite as dramatic as your ride I did almost get taken out by a peacock running across the road in front of me. Keep up the great content.
I once got Swaziland and Switzerland confused, looked a right plonker collecting my ski and snowboard equipment from King Mswati III International Airport baggage claim conveyor.
Thanks Francis, Chris and Ben, I’ve so enjoyed waking up each morning and getting to watch your previous days cycling adventures. Ben you are amazing you go from I’ve pulled my leg to the next clip you are surfing on your top tube 😂 keep having fun and sharing your adventures. Stay safe !!
Ben is a vibe, but then again your whole cycling crew are a bunch of legends and we as viewers are privileged to share your friendships as you cycle around the world on thee wonderful journeys.
following your channel for well over 7 years now, which is how long i've been a brit expat in switzerland. as always a great story told with great style.
I'm glad I found this channel. Looked a brilliant trip, I'll probably never get to do anything like that, so it's good to see some other people enjoying it. What bikes were you using.
By far the BEST vlogs on TH-cam by FAR, would love you 3 to be on TV each week for a Cycling Show. Francis Cade, your editing skills and Production are amazing. Thanks for the past 7 days of amazingness, the final days ride video will be quite sad, perfect timing prior to my TCR race across Europe. THANK-YOU guys.
6:27 - the Col de l'Aiguillon! Doing a round trip to there and back from Lausanne on my road bike is a big ride, so impressive to be doing that and more with all that gear.
I live in Switzerland, so a bit of precision: cannabis is kind of more or less "tolerated" in some place, it's not legal. What is strange is that selling it is illegal, only some quantities are allowed to be on oneself (but it's grey zone, police can be strict or less) for self-smoking... You're now in place clsoe to where I was living some years ago, enjoy 😊 (even if not easy, between Lausanne and Geneva, there are only a few roads so for bicycle there's always a lot of traffic, there's no small traffic road. Have a good continuation 🤗
its like up to 5g‘s in some places iirc for personal use ofcourse. but yes up to the cop to decide wheter or not to let it slide as personal use or not. You can also have 1 cannabis plant per person in the household legally Also, i was not surprised one bit that the drivers were terrible
So that Chris close up the nose white heads were unreal wasn't ready for that. And hope you guys when in Rome'd the weed to chill after scary traffic. Safe travels and enjoyed watching the trip.
Best Tip Ever “…just do it”. That’s what Chris told me when I met him on #107tdf… since done ‘London to Paris and home through Normandy’… and just done a 48 Hour Challenge 👌🏻. Loving these daily updates
You mentioning the cracks in the road remind me of the ones caused by the extreme heat out in Death Valley and Grand Canyon - properly pummel you as you’re riding along.
@@malcontent_1 I do indeed. It’s how I “found” Francis’ channel - the Project USA episodes popped up - no idea what I was searching for - and then discovered the Death Valley episodes, and was saying (to the TV), yep I’ve been there, yep I know that bit, yep, I know that view etc. recently met him - check out his “A bike ride worth hearing about” episode. He’s a top young man, seriously humble and down to earth, and, genuine.
Welcome to Switzerland! And yes, drivers really suck here. Way too much rode rage! It’s a miracle I‘m still alive since I‘m commuting by bike every day.

Ben pulls his leg then climbs on top of his bike 😂😂😂 I drive a truck in Switzerland regular & I am constantly on edge maybe I should smoke some of that Swaziland grass In mickydeez to calm me down 😳😳😳🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🚴🏻♂️🏴🏴🏴🏴
Glad you boys are safe, Francis you said yesterday the gels were good for the guts but the Macca's not so much, now look what you're eating again :P no way those glasses make it home in one piece!
A bit of Weed is not strictly 'legal', but Police won't bother you about it. Sadly bike riding is really stressful in parts of Switzerland. Glad you guys are well.
Glad you're all ok, looked like some awful driving! In case anyone else is looking for the absolute banger of a track used in today's video it's called Muney by Beiba
So many questions: How does Chris make climbing look so easy? How does Ben get away with the stunt riding? How does Francis find the time edit these videos? Did you all check out the Manly Shop? A great trip guys.
Chris is such a beast, especially after the 7 everests effort he completed not too long ago.
Life is unfair sometimes... Look at them float uphill what the heck like gravity went backwards..
So Ben pulled his leg helping a snail cross the road!? Best cycling excuse ever! 🤣🤣
True, haha! 😂
Can;t wait for the Swaziland bike packing trip! 😂

A peacock? Where do u live?
If Ben thinks is going to Swaziland then you have a lot more pedalling to do 😄
😂😂
Isn't Swaziland next to Australia?

Want to see these boys descending Swiss mountain passes with a bong in one hand
Still impressed by the robot being still in one piece after all theses days ^^
I laughed really hard just as soon as the robot appeared.
I love how at the start Ben seemed at best irritated about having to carry the robot around, and now they are the best of pals
🤖
Loving the dynamics of the group. Hope yous are cycling back home so there will be more videos to watch. 😉
I once got Swaziland and Switzerland confused, looked a right plonker collecting my ski and snowboard equipment from King Mswati III International Airport baggage claim conveyor.
Can you not go home please and the 3 of you just continue bikepacking around Europe and the world. So entertaining 👍
Best bike packing videos series I've seen so far !
Ben and Chris are such great companions. Francis, love the edits. Y'all be safe out there.
And a massive fair play on cycling up mountains on a bike that weighs 25kg on road gears #power
30 years ago on a 2x5 we had the same on touring bikes!
Ben has some great bike handling skills.
yea i've noticed it too i barely can drink when riding and he's doing all sorts of stuff 🤣
I was about to say I find it hard enough to drink while riding, but someone beat me to it ;-)
Try telling Jimmi that!!
His custom paint job still bears the scars!!

Fantastic video series - really enjoying them. What an adventure!
In 2:16 why does he move so much from left to right?
Now I’m hype for Swaziland bike trip series
I’m now addicted to watching your trip chaps. Great work. Turn it into a movie someday. Cheers Ian (in Florida).
Check out the USA tour series was awesome viewing
Yeah imagine if he edited everything into a 90 minute video.
@@iddra1868 yes indeed. Plus imagine the journey home…. That’s going to be fun. Probably easier to cycle home ;-)
I usually ride alone, but when I see you guys I am reconsidering... entertaining as hell!
Swaziland changed its name to Eswatini so people like Ben didn't get Switzerland and Swaziland confused.
I heard Switzerland is going to change its name to Ezwatini In retaliation for this outrage.
this series has been absolutely phenomenal. great work everyone.
Ben riding like one of those wobble-head-figures, seems highly inefficient! but very fun to look at :D
Im going to be devastated when you finish this ride… its honestly been such an enjoyable mini-series.
I think the sensah groupset is holding pretty well.
This series rocks. What a squad.
I could be wrong , but Chris looks like he's on a recovery ride - he's killing it .
Always on a recovery ride
Great trip lads, the Camaraderie is fantastic
This has been great to watch. well done guys.
Always smart to underpass trucks. Never goes wrong.
_Glad all of you are okay_ ... maybe a bit cranky but still healthy. And thank Ben for the robot update. 🤖
Francis, come to Zug! Some great riding around here & some excellent post-ride beers as well! The drivers are also much better around here! ;)
I just noticed the robot is the XTR modell, so it should be ok with a bit of rain or mud
Another great video, I'm really enjoying your series!
Loving slipknot in middle best band when climbing
this was recommended after a krunchy kandy video. this is so good
Absolute quality! This is the A team! Well done lads!🙌🏾💪🏾
2:14 very true, everyone's different but my first cycle tour solo was very tough mentally.
These videos have been the highlight of my day!
Really enjoying this bike packing trip, can you ask Ben what lenses is in his Sungod glasses please.
The arm control in action! Looking great with the SunGod shades 😎
Amazing that you've made it intact! Are you riding back????
Best Tip Ever “…just do it”. That’s what Chris told me when I met him on #107tdf… since done ‘London to Paris and home through Normandy’… and just done a 48 Hour Challenge 👌🏻. Loving these daily updates
The last song in the video is a good choice.
Watching daily from work
Gosh Darn this is a well made video. i will be adjusting my video making style to suit what you are obviously nailing. peace out. enjoy the ride!
I noticed that you love that helmet Francis which I also do! Met Rivale saved my life once in a crash.
Great ride...You don't upload to Strava anymore? Any of the guys, to see the actual stats and compare if it is doable? :D
This is the first time i followed a cycling vlog for this long. Nice Videos.
I'm so jealous of you guys doing that trip, it looks so much fun. Enjoy!
You mentioning the cracks in the road remind me of the ones caused by the extreme heat out in Death Valley and Grand Canyon - properly pummel you as you’re riding along.
Did you know Francis cycled through Death Valley ~4 years ago on his trip from San Diego to Portland?? Check out the epic "Project USA"playlist.

loving the trip .... makes me want to finish work earlier to get out in the uk sun - yes, sun all week so far :)
Ben really puts his full body into every pedal stroke doesn't he 😂
Yes - I was wondering how he'd survive with so much movement - I guess he's fit. And young. And skilled.
Ben is now talking to the robot he absolutely didn't want to carry 🤣🤣🤣

How's the Groupo holding up?
Does Ben actually use the saddle on his bike or is it for show?

Just brilliant, lucky Robot!
Damn, those roads are insanely beautiful ! Too bad they are so incredibly unsafe and dangerous.. Be safe guys =)
What type of cycling shoes is Ben wearing?
I need to know: are any of you getting saddle sores or rawness or chafing?

the funniest episode of all from this series. thank you
There's a 1:1 ratio between tiredness & silliness. Lovin' this series.
