Ben's raver interludes have added a new dimension to the trip footage. You all look tired, but like you've been having a blast together. Good stuff. How are the guts after the Styrkr gels?
@@Mrdirt22 The obvious solution is Burger King. I have been farting and burping double whoppers for hours after eating them, but the energy release was good and steady
Great ride! I did 1900km in 14days, 2 weeks ago with my cyclocross bike and always Camping. And one uci gravel race in between in Millau, France. It was a very hilly and windy ride but great experience too.
This series of videos have been a highlight for me from all the hundreds Francis has made. Such great banter between you guys and Ben is the new star (imho). 😉
Absolute loving this! I do want the Styrkr salt-pack, also I want that snazy bag (goes behind the sadle on like a frame). Then I remember, I need to actually bikepack before I go hoarding equipment! 😂
I'm enjoying the daily videos following you three guys ride to Switzerland. Thank you for putting together a visual of your route. I'm looking forward to the final day where you have to climb 2000m. I can feel the pain all three of you will be going through already, carrying all that baggage (and funny toys) and being tired from having ridden for so many days in the heat.
In Aigle there is a Continental Inner Tube vending machine! Go to Dom Cycle in Aigle!, Down the road from the UCI headquarters velodrome and bmx track!! The River trail along the Rhone is nice!!!
Yeah! The Ben’s sweeping brush returns! Idea for the cycling parts of the videos. How about you give your opinions on the gear you’ve brought on the trip. Also, has there been any gear that has been unexpectedly useful.
Funny thing that you planned your bike packing trip while the race across France is going ! Not exactly taking the same roads but it shows the variety of trips that can be done on a bike. Keep up the good content !
Loving this! Only just discovered your channel and your trip has become part of my daily routine. Thanks to you, I'm looking for gravel races in Germany! I have a kit question for Chris: Where can I find your bike rack bags? I prefer to streamline at the back, and they look nice and small. Also, I've been looking into quick-release racks for the non-bike packing days. Any experience with that? What do you use? What's the max weight you would load at the back? Thanks!
Yet another brilliant vlog , best on TH-cam. I don't think I've watched one I don't like . Plus you came North and found the real country lol . Next gift in Switzerland... a cheese fondu set 🤣
Guys are looking tired today. Question, Thunder storm what is the best strategy to protect yourself from lighting when you're out and caught up in the storm?
you cant eat just sugar for endurance rides, its the fastest cleanest efficient energy source but it doesnt last, fiber, fat, and protien prevent the bonk and especially when youre not recovered sugar and stims will make you crash harder
Loving this journey. Massive props to edit these at the end of such big days out. Almost there! BTW, what's the plan after you visit Sungod? Ride back?
Great video's guys, you keep it fun to watch... the bikes still going strong 💪🏽 I bonkted once when 20k to go... never again please 🥴 keep strong guys 💪🏽🥳
Condensing a days riding to eight minutes and making it entertaining to watch, proper skill that is. So is Styrkr going to have a range of special gels called Chris?. :)
For a second I thought you'd picked up a new sponsor for shaving the gentleman's area! I also learned a new thing from this...bike in the shower - excellent 👌
i was just saying to my mate, in this day of fuel prices surely people are more interested in seeing a cycling version of top gear with trips like this?
@@Cade_Media thanks for your answer i'm just hesitating between 11 and 12 speed to build a bike for my wife as i'm on 11 gears yet and it's better to stay compatible on the trainer.
Can't get enough of these vids guys. Looks like such an awesome trip
The TH-cam Channel that keeps on giving and doing it with a smile. Cheers guys.

pretty good, not so good after the McDonald's
@@Cade_Media Good to know McDonald's has the same effect on all Continents.
@@Mrdirt22 The obvious solution is Burger King. I have been farting and burping double whoppers for hours after eating them, but the energy release was good and steady
@@lechprotean People still eat there?
If there is going to be an auction for Francis's arm hair, we need Ben's beard hair and Chris's moustache hair to make it fair.
I'm not sure editing videos every day is killing your creativity at all, these are so fun to watch right to the end! Starting the bidding at £0.01!
Agree, the vids are great
indeed, these bikepacking trips are some of francis' best videos!
Being Swiss and a fan of your channel I’m so excited seeing you guys in my homecountry. Great fun watching you guys approaching.
Great vid showcasing the comradery between cycling friends, there's nothing like suffering, adventuring and laughing together.

A fantastic watch. This bike adventure is just ace!
Fantastic trip! I hope you’ll choose the corniche when riding along lake Geneva, it goes through the vineyards and it’s very beautiful.
In Brazil and I love watching these mid-morning at work. Helps me keep motivated for my next trip! Thanks gents.
Got to love the middle of Lidl
Brilliant. Brings a smile every time. Good times
It's been a real treat following along with you boys. Thanks for sharing.

Love that Ribble... I have the same one...
Another awesome video. Loving this. Francis, you should consider coming to Vancouver/Victoria to ride the Whistler Gran Fondo.
Absolute loving this!

Another solid vid, Chris' little race when he saw his gift from the middle of lidl. Pure unfiltered joy.
It's all about mates. Great trip

Man, this series is pretty fun! I'm really thinking of doing some bikepacking on my roadie after watching this. Keep up the great work and good luck!
Loving how fast you are getting these out! I'm here in the US and love watching these pre-work!
Looks like an epic trip, did my own through France, Belgium, Holland. Great riding and awesome company. Might try a route like yours too.
Loving that kind of tired so everything is super funny vibe you guys have going on! loving the series.

I like the taking the bike into the shower ! Genius !

Ben - the figet spinner, Chris - the romantic, Francis - the artist
Quit my job to do more things like this. Just need friends now 😅 Big inspiration guys!
One thing I’ve learned from watching your bike packing trips from around the world over the years is… take more rest days 😂
For a second I thought you'd picked up a new sponsor for shaving the gentleman's area!
I also learned a new thing from this...bike in the shower - excellent 👌
Where do we bid for the arm hair? 😁
Quality hair clippers. No muff too tough 😆
Does anyone know what shoes is Ben wearing? They look great!
What kind of saddles are u guys using?
Loving the videos and very jealous. Just so you know caffeine stops you body absorbing the nitrates in your gels as well.
Random question , what lens are in your sungods ?
Loving these vids. Think you should ride back to make them go on longer 😁
HAHHAHA keep it up, these are amazing and I hope you do more trips like this
Great Video as always and the route looks superb Francis!! Just one question…… Are you doing the same route back?? 😂😂
Sent you a message on instagram a week ago or so. Visiting NCL next week. Loving these videos. Take care namesake!
Can you recommend a good place in The Netherlands to get a bikefit?

what shoes are you all using??
How’s the group set holding up?
Does Ben still have the robot?!
absolutely
Question: What’s his toothbrush 🪥 brand?
if you could change something on your bike setup, what would it be?
smaller chainrings
Where did the helmet go?
Almost there!
Ben wasn't just a good barber, he was a model barber 😉
Glad someone else made the comments about the hairy arms !
Where do I place my bid?

you can find out in tomorrow's episode!
@@Cade_Media haha look forward to it!
Hi, just wondering if you guys are riding road bikes or gravel bikes
I'm on a road bike, the other two on gravel!
Oh fun! Hello!
I trim my arms because sun screen works better when applied to skin, not the hair.
“This is how Ben rides” LOL
Todd Rundgren...Yay!
How’s the Ali express group set holding up? Any issues?
No issues so far,!
Hope I haven’t jinxed it by asking 😇
You could use the arm hair to make a little wig for the robot.
“Other drinks are available”. Dead.
Nice one lads, this is what happens when u ride too fast!
BEHOLD! It’s the 3 wise men bringing gifts to Verbier; A Robot, the Pink Helmet plus Francis arm hair. Biblical guys
do you have dual-sided power
yep
“This is your career” 😂😂😂
Oh cool , you’re suffering
I just realized that you're still using the Sensah Empire.
Where are you guys based normally?
