My father was a victim of an almost similar incident back in the late 80’s. He told us that a group of policemen hailed my father and his companion to stop for a “routine inspection”. He asked what the inspection was for, but the police didn’t say anything. He was then blindfolded and told to get in a car. His companion was told to get in a different car and my father never saw him again. My father said he was taken in an area with high grasses. He was dragged out of the car and was made to kneel down. One of the police officers held a gun to the back of my father’s neck. He pleaded for his life, explaining that he has a child (that was me) waiting for him at home. The policeman asked his fellow officers if he should spare my father. The others agreed to spare my father’s life because he didn’t recognize them anyway since he was blindfolded, but in exchange they took his clothes, shoes, wallet and even his eyeglasses. He was left with only his underwear and socks. One of the officers hit my father using a gun at the back of his head then they took off. My father managed to get out of the grassy area and find help in one of the farmer’s huts. He didn’t recognize where he was, but it looked like he was driven outside the city. He was taken to the hospital and fully recovered physically, but never mentally. My father is in his 60’s now and has always been obsessed with locking doors and windows and arming our household. There’s also this major distrust with police officers, as well. He taught me to protect myself using a firearm and to “shoot now and ask questions later”. My father did file a report of the incident and to report his missing companion, but since he wasn’t able to identify the police officers, nothing was done. These police officers might still be alive and walking free to this day.
Thank God your father also made it out alive , sorry to hear what a terrifying experience he had to go through. But I believe he just came out a stronger person, for you as he's son. That's why some of these police always abuse their power for their evil deeds , but God don't sleep , I'm sure God delt with them in he's own way. Thank you for sharing your story

Megan, did you see the case of Chae Kyong An. He buried his estranged wife, Young Sook An, alive. She was able to call 911 from her iWatch. She survived, he received 165 months, just over 13 years. This happened in Lacey, Washington, USA.
Thank you idol Megan for covering some tragic stories here in our beloved country The Philippines this story is such a tragic yet very inspiring story for the girl who is brave enough to make those criminals suffer.. More power to you channel idol Megan❤❤❤
Megan, pls do cover Neha Hiremath case which happened here in India. It sent shockwaves all around the state of Karnataka and its was very horrifying 🙏🏻

Unfortunate fact: "salvage" incidents still happen to this day. Allegedly, two people were taken on separate occasions by individuals who introduced themselves as police officers. These happened last year. Most probably, these were actually done by crime syndicates in the area. They either pretend to be officers, or they have actual ties with corrupt cops.
