New sub fam. Hey fam can you explain why a lady should buy a gun ? I ask my 27 yo daughter that she should get one and take some training classes. Because it's very weird out here and it's good to invest in yourself. Stay bless ✌🏾
Thank you for taping in to the content. I appreciate that as well as feeling comfortable enough to ask for my opinion on the matter. My reasoning behind a woman buying a gun is the same as I’d say for any one to buy a gun. “It’s just like car insurance. We pay it year after year and almost never have an accident. It’s the one time we let the coverage lapse and out of no where, a semi hits you”. I think our preservation of our own lives is just as important as making sure you eat and drink water. Women needing to be armed is even more of a statement since so many people in society tend to underestimate and undervalue women. Just seen a news clip where a Uber driver popped a lady in the back seat, assaulted her and left her body on the side of a high. Another instance, a woman was in a trash can. It’s all f’n sad and I feel for the people affected by the tragedies. Those are even more reasons why I feel women should be just as armed as men are out here, in a safe and responsible manner. Sorry for the long tangent but I feel better knowing that women are out here armed and trained, ready to protect not only themselves but also their families .

@@blackticalmayhem8461 I hit the range with it so I don’t take it off, I keep it where it’s at and it doesn’t impede with my rear open sights when it’s flipped to the side

@@ShowemRight true! Very true. I just hate the way the AK feels when shooting it. The crazy part is, with my little experience on the platform, I feel as though, you can’t have a great time with a cheap AK like you can with an AR platformed rifle. The AKs I’ve seen that give the best handling and accuracy, are the ones you’re paying over $1,800 for 🤷🏽♂️
Zpap70 1000$ best budget ak you can find. @@navyvet886
Not completely true. Not really a subsonic option for 300 blackout. And 110 gr 300 blk out of a short barrel has good Terminal velocity
@@miguelrojas1686you’re just throwing out random terms and don’t know what you’re talking about. Terminal velocity means “the maximum speed of an object as it falls” also 300 blackout is literally known for subsonic rounds, they’re one of the quietest subsonic cartridges you can suppress.. LOL
wtf are u talking about? It’s a totally different platform. The 300 blk on the ar platform is much easier and performs much better supressed too so…. U prob shouldn’t just talk about sht u don’t really know about
New sub fam.
Wish I knew not all aks are the same in Quality and reliability
Same!!! Seems like, in order to get a great running AK you’re going to spend on the low end $1,600
..........they didnt teach you this in the Navy?
@@demetriharlan5887 you’d be surprised at how extensive training can be in the military. 😒

I enjoyed the video. I think you made several valid points but damn ur names too close to the OG’s bro. That ain’t cool
Who's name is that?
You did zero research before buying.
@@timothybooker2134 well I mean, I purchased every part down to the takedown pins and detent. I think I did. It’s everything in it I wanted. What made you say that to me?
@@navyvet886 the fact that you didn't know the main calibers for the gun. That's the first thing you should have learned during your research.
@@timothybooker2134 you know this is a video about me not knowing originally, like years ago, not like recently.
@@timothybooker2134 guess you reading into the video wrong
@@navyvet886 the title was "What I wish I knew before buying my first rifle". So I assumed you bought your first rifle without knowing the main calibers which made me think you didn't do any research.
I've never understood the magnifier on a "home defense " rifle 🤷♂️. What's the point? Shooting at distance wouldn't technically be self defense according to lawyers
You know I can just flip it to the side right?
Eotech magnifiers have quick detach capabilities so I can just flip two switches and it falls off or I can just pop it to the side in less than maybe a second while it’s still attached
@navyvet886 Absolutely lol I'm just saying they really aren't necessary for H.D 🤷♂️ hunting sure but not home defense situations
@navyvet886 I didn't use one in the Amry, and I don't have one now on mine 🤷♂️ ( to each his own). I prefer Aimpoint to Eotech
@@blackticalmayhem8461 I hit the range with it so I don’t take it off, I keep it where it’s at and it doesn’t impede with my rear open sights when it’s flipped to the side
