Hey there! I love the pattern! I made a headband head scarf using a different pattern, it was a US pattern and it turned into a Noddy hat! So I altered the pattern using a thinner yarn and it sort of worked out. But I love this one and know it'll work😀! It's so great to find someone doing loom knitting that isn't US!! No they lie pretty flat, but if you do have that problem with any stitch do and e wrap cast on and a row of purl stitches at each end of the project.
