Simple Headband for Loom in the Round

  • This is an idea for any left over yarn you have laying around, works up REALLY quick and would also make a great last minute gift!
    You can find the written pattern here on my Raverly
    www.ravelry.co...
    Keep in mind, the pattern is for an adult size head but you can use a smaller loom to make it for a child, as it’s done in the round and NOT FLAT PANEL like others.

    I love your headband, but mine turned out so wide, 8" before gathering it. The first section was combined purls and ewraps, total of 12 rounds. Then middle section of 10 rounds, then the bottom is the same as the first section, total of 12 rounds again. I used the same size yarn.

    • @MrsRynsai
      @MrsRynsai  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What loom and did you use e-wrap for the whole thing? If so, I mention that e-wraping the top and bottom will make it bigger as it's a much looser stitch and to use u knit for the top and bottom, then use e-wrap just for the center

    • @LoriM1959
      @LoriM1959 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrsRynsai I followed your instructions...you ewrapped the top and bottom, not knitted, so I figured our sizes should match??correct?

    • @MrsRynsai
      @MrsRynsai  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're using the 60 peg 1/2" gauge loom with the Color Made Easy yarn? If so, it should be exactly like that unless you did your e-wrapping really loose

    First, thank you very much for doing this video. I understand the middle section so much better now. I have a question though, once you’ve finished the Twisted Stockinette section, is it critical to go in the opposite direction from your last stitches for your first row of Purl stitches or will it be okay to proceed in either direction?

    • @MrsRynsai
      @MrsRynsai  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Either direction is fine

    What is the purpose of reversing the direction of the middle e-wrap section? Does it result in a different look than doing the e-wrap rows in the same direction? Excuse my ignorance...novice, here. Thanks!
