I love that Murph's character is like a huge nerd for the nerdy stuff from when Murph was little, Final Fantasy VII, Blade etc but we're on such a trip of remakes that all that stuff is technically modern for this setting right now.
I feel like the emphasis of ‘move off of regular money’ and all these tidbits of shutting down smaller businesses means that it’ll be important in the plot

I hate to be that guy, but in the book Dracula DID walk during the day. He was fine. He was weak, sure, but like it didn't kill or even actively hurt him.
To be fair, he could argue that the threat of battery was from the construction worker who threatened to come over there and that he had reason to defend himself

It's too hilarious!
Cody and Gilear are both embarrassing, but in such different ways Gilear has a pitiful, pitiful existence with such terrible luck, but he knows it. Gilear is embarrassing cuz he’s awkward. Cody is an aggressive person who is edgy and angry, but he still thinks he’s cool. It’s the fact that Cody thinks he’s cool despite his embarrassing amount of edge that makes it embarrassing. At the very least we sympathise with Gilear cuz we feel sorry for him, but (as much as I love his character) you can only feel secondhand embarrassment from Cody.
I want to love Cody, but I hate everything about him, and I think that is the point. He is such a tool. I love how Murph can perfectly tap into the least likable thing about a person and make you love-hate them. I'm sure he will get up to shenanigans, and it will be great.
