How do you have Adam Anderson do an incredible freestyle in 2008, but then Air Force Afterburner does the most boring, simple time filler and end up winning in 2009?
Because they arent judging the 2 scores against one another...? 2008 had better freestyles, which resulted in more impressive runs. 2009 had more ended up having more runs end early due to crashes or equipment breaking. Which results in a lower bar set for winning the competition. If *nobody* is able to complete a full run, seeing someone *complete a full run* is already a plus in the eyes of the judges. Just because one event is newer than tue other, doesnt mean its somehow going to end up being better than the previous event, thats not how it works lol.
Nah you’re underrating Bradshaw’s run, very technical freestyle and took some big risks when you watch the rest of World Finals X It was a very punishing track
@@Thunder103093 My point is, they had the six judges as early as 2000. I think in 2002 is when they established the reinsertion of the high and low scores for the tiebreakers. But in some of the other early World Finals (2001 and 2004), they only had four judges. 2004 of course was when the three way tie happened between Madusa, MaxD, and El Toro Loco. Of those three, I think Madusa deserved it the most since she actually saved the truck after knocking Bounty Hunter off the stack.
Why dont they even bring out cars anymore? When people think monster trucks, they think destroying cars I can kinda understand no more boxcars, but no cars?

My 4 y/o knows all the monster trucks names , he loves this.
How do you have Adam Anderson do an incredible freestyle in 2008, but then Air Force Afterburner does the most boring, simple time filler and end up winning in 2009?
I think alot of Damon’s run after time expired was counted towards the score like his double jump & cyclone
Nah you’re underrating Bradshaw’s run, very technical freestyle and took some big risks when you watch the rest of World Finals X
It was a very punishing track
I really feel Blue Thunder should've won at least one world title. In my opinion, Tony Farrell's run was better than Jimmy Creten's.
Tony left to much time on the clock which cost him
@@Thunder103093 My point is, they had the six judges as early as 2000.
When people think monster trucks, they think destroying cars
I can kinda understand no more boxcars, but no cars?
Because of “safety hazards & budget cuts”
hello tim great video
I remember during the 2000 era there would be like 1 or two jumps and like 10 crush cars
Avenger was always fast paced and stupid fun to watch
“It’s the move of the night” I miss advance auto parts
There is no way that scott still enjoys commentating on this. I mean the sport used to be so much better. He's been with so many other commentators. He CANT enjoy the new monster jam, there's no way
Is he back?
I Feel Like Back In The Early 2000s One Crazy Move Got You A 🏆💯 Either Way It Worked Back When Monster Jam Wasn’t About The Backflips On Purpose Just To Help You Win But I’m Still A Big Monster Jam Fan Either Way.
Nice vid
thanks
11:28 For kids of now... This is real monster Jam
Spitting bars
Cam McQueen…the man that changed Monster Jam forever
didn't know el toro loco won a wf championship
We need an updated version
tell feld to stop blocking my videos & i will
Absolute quality
Some rare events they do like for the all Star show they had
cars and such but it may have changed but thank god it's one of the only sports that hasn't changed a ton like others
2012 was like the best of both worlds lol
This is the monster jam I remember 😢
Back when it was awesome
that year with lupe winning that freestyle at the end if that wasnt a camper then the backflip could have been an old trick
but also madusa didnt deserve to be in that tie
absolutely
you goanna do racing next?
i did already
World Finals Racing Champions
oh, sorry
Damon Bradshaw is such an underrated driver
Did Lupe won? Because in toms run there was Lupes truck without rear wheels!
bernardo jose tamayo zea he was in a three way tie with maximum destruction and madusa before they had a tiebreaker
whats so funny was that year they did 4 judges when every year before hand except 2001 did have 6 judges & seeing how the 1st 4 years the winner won by a 1 except 2001, i will never understand why they did that
who won the 3 way tiebreaker?
There was no Tiebreaker in 2004
From 2007 to 2008 the technology rly advanced the air got insane
Back when monster trucks didn’t have mufflers
+ very great video that's the only thing I noticed
2006 was insane how did it not roll when he literally only hit the biggest jumps sideways with no rear steer
Need an update to this
tell feld to stop copyrighting me & deal
Grave Digger is awesome & bad to the bone Monster Truck ever seen & Dennis Anderson is a great driver of Grave Digger & i would like to meet him & Adam Anderson Kirsten Anderson Ryan Anderson cause it would be awesome
2005 was bountyhunter
This is how I'd rank all the runs in this video from worst to best
16. Madusa
15. El Toro Loco
14. Grave Digger
13. Bounty Hunter
12. Team Meents
11. Maximum Destruction (2013)
10. Avenger (2003)
9. Captain's Curse
8. Avenger (2011)
7. Northern Nightmare
6. Monster Mutt
5. Air Force Afterburner
4. Maximum Destruction (2006)
3. Taz
2. Goldberg
1. Maximum Destruction (2004)
I actually plan on one day making my ranked runs & put it on DailyMotion
Good stuff. Can't wait to see that
I’d definitely put Monster Mutts’ higher than 6 that was one of the best ever imo
Am I the only one who honestly finds it really sad that Dennis Anderson only won the freestyle world championship once?
2006 should have been a tie between Dennis and Tom,
2016 should have been Dennis (no disrespect to Adam).
The competition he created 😢
i admit it. blue thunder deserved to win the world finals XIV freestyle
I tried my best remaking this vid by using the membership videos, it wasnt that good
29:54 Avenger 2011 Freestyle
I can’t believe Dennis won freestyle in 2000. I mean it was a good run but I don’t think worthy of a 40
Like in 2004!
Does anybody know the truck or year where right out the gate the first jump was massive and broke off one of the wheels but they finished their run?
You might be talking about bulldozer world finals 2
what filter you use for it not to be copyrighted?
@@mjmaxdfan2 nothing, it was challenged back in 2014 & i just won the claim, never got lucky with the other videos
Maximum amazing!)
Look at Grave Digger so inspirational 😂
Tom Meents winning racing
Twice in Goldberg 2000, 2001
Once in Team Meents 2002
Thrice in Maximum Destruction 2009, 2011, & 2012
Tom Meents winning freestyle
Once in Goldberg (2001)
Once in Team Meents (2002)
Twice in Maximum Destruction (2004, & 2006)
Once in Max - D (2013)
Tom Meents winning 2 wheel skill once in Max - D (fire) (2019)
You can add another freestyle and 2 wheels Championship to the list now
GD in 2000 was not a 40 run. It came from a time where incompetent fans judged.
It was not the judging, its just that back then that was a great run.
TheFerociousFox back then whoever went last and was the best got 40
I disagree, look at the course, that's not a track made for massive air say like 2010. Things were way different back then.
Return the world finals to vegas !!!
