What a GREAT voice for narration! I was enthralled the whole time. Great tips for parents with young kids, and also just explaining the cool parts about this game in general! I LOVE the art, all the heroes they chose, and those beautiful ALLY cards for Missions look absolutely stunning. Can't wait to get it myself.

Thanks! Those decades of opera training are coming in handy! And it’s great that you’re excited for the selection of heroes. It’s looking to be an amazing package!

I have all of the Dice Throne sets and I loved your idea for starting with younger players! Thanks for making it so fun! How do you handle the player elimination aspect of the game with younger players?

Thanks for the kind words! We mostly played 1v1 and 2v2 (the latter being our favourite way to play with a 6 year old), but in a multiplayer free-for-all situation, we'd end the game after one player was eliminated and give the win to whoever had the most health remaining. Obviously not super satisfying ending for us experienced players, but it's more about building a healthy relationship with the game and the hobby as a whole!

Fantastic preview and explanation video! Also, I love the idea of simplifying the game for younger players- I’ll be trying this out with my 6 and 5 year old boys today! 😄

@@LittleBigThumbsthe game went pretty well! We ended up going 2v2 (I played Black Panther on a team with my 5 year old playing Thor, against my 6.5yr old as Miles Morales teamed up with my 10 year old daughter as Scarlet Witch). We played the way you detailed in the video (with no cards) and they loved it! One question that came up was what do you suggest we do with combos that are supposed to reward CP or status effects that work only with cards? We ended up ignoring them or rewarding an extra damage to the attack.

@@smoothrivera1928 You handled those edge cases just like we would - I remind myself that we’ll soon be playing with the full rules, and give myself permission to be flexible with those moments that cardless play doesn’t quite fit. So glad it worked (and most importantly, was fun!) for your family!

Thank you very much for the great video, where you explain it very simply and well.
Especially since you tell what it's like to play with children.

Just discovered your channel and I love this idea.
I struggle to find games with my kids, and the quick setup option is pretty great.
I tried DT Marvel with the kid and he was barely into it. BUT if I remove the cards he would probably like it a lot more (he enjoys King of Tokyo because of the dice too)
    Definitely subscribing 👍

So glad that you’ve found us, and that it might be a benefit for you! I’ll be sharing a similar game later today that even be more appealing to your little one, and if you’d to see more of our quick start hacks, we can certainly make that happen!
