I support anyone from Florida but especially from the greatest county in the world.. Dade County 305.. wishing you nothing but luck and prosperity papo keep doing what you love cause that’s what life is all about!! 👌🤚
I haven't had a need to, and I'm afraid it might make the picky bonefish more hesitant to eat it, but it might work. I know some guys use similar on the avalon fly.
I don't, cause all I ever use is Gamakatsu hooks. haha But the sizing I recommend in the B10s Stinger is what I recommend for the fly in particular. I used to use tiemco's and mustad hooks, but I've had far better results with the Gamakatsu hooks.
Yeah I gotcha. I’m getting some heat from other subs that think the Stinger is a tad weak for tarpon, even juve poons. I’ve tied up a bunch of your Finn Raccoon Tarpon flies and this bonefish fly for an upcoming trip to Tortola. Feeling confident. Great channel, keep it up!
@@jraygolfShawn Leadon ties his Super Gotchas on a 2 and 1/0 B10s. Seems legit if a second gen Andros guide and operator uses them on giant bone flies.
How far from downtown Miami were you and was that spot only accessible through boat? I’m looking to relocate to Miami and would love some wading bone fishing that you don’t need a boat to get to
The up close shot? It's a Nikon D800E with a 105mm Macro lens. I'm likely going to do a video just about my camera gear that I use when we go on a fishing trip, and likely to show how we film the fly tying stuff. I have upgraded my gear quite a bit in the last 8 months so I should be pumping out some fresh new videos here shortly.
Great video. Trying to get into fly fishing. I live in miami and paddle board fish I take off from dearing estate and paddle to chicken key. I caught my first ever bonefish there on a paddle tail and since then I’ve been looking for a nice fly setup. Andy suggestions also what the shop you go to for your stuff. Thanks for all the great content keep up the good work
It has beadchain eyes on it. But i don't use the mono eyes on it. I have found that it is not necessary. Fish will eat the fly with or without it. I like to simplify the tying process and only use what is necessary.

Works in Hawaii. Just used a brown Sharpie to bar the tail
haha nice! I sometimes add the bars myself depending what part of biscayne bay I plan to fish.
@@Eric.Estrada Planning to test it on carp & bass

Going to key west in July. Would love to know if you have any recommendations on flies for the area.
Has to be the coolest into on TH-cam.
Great vids. Im needing guidance on where to wade and flyfish around miami or south. Guidance?
Thank you - keep these coming
What part of Biscayne Bay is that? Nice video btw I have to try those flies!
Eric, have you tied this with a full loop weedguard, like a bass fly? Seems to me it might shield the hook from grass a little better.

Great pattern and great tutorial. Can't wait to try it!
Have fun! It gets the job done.
So cool, awesome tie!
I see all the time, fast motion fly tying on Instagram. It’s nice to see and hear explaination
Glad you like it, man!
Nice tie, I always wonder why tiers don't spin the rotary vise & apply it by hand like when putting on the brush material. Any reason why?
Dude you are so talented! Amazing video! :)
Looks like i know what i'll be whipping up for the next trip down 🔥🔥 homie🙏
haha hope this stuff blows over soon.
@@Eric.Estrada That makes 2 of us brother
Nice pattern! Can’t wait to get my first bonefish
quick trip to Miami
Erick, I'm an old fly fishing guy that wants to find a place that I can wade in and try for Bones....Any suggestion ???
Titusville Florida
figure 8 is the term for that cross pattern for the eyes
That's awesome, I thought I was the only one that liked lowriders and flyfishing
Haha, yeah man. I'm a Lowrider painter turned fish artist. haha You can see some more of my lowrider work on IG at @SprayingTheKandy
hey Eric, don't you find these B10S Stingers to be huge for the size designation? Love this fly!

What camera do you use to film the actual fly tying POV

Definitely go to JD Outdoor Adventures for all your fly needs. Nautilus reels is my choice of reel, I like Renegade for the rods.
Thanks
What fly line do you like to use?
@@maverick5785 I been using Cortland's Tropic Series fly lines with great results.
Dope video brother! 🔥
Thanks, dude.
Can it be tied without weed guard
It can, but I don't recommend it. It'll get hung up on grass often.
sick stuff dude
Thanks, dude.
Hell yeah! Nice video!
Glad you liked it!
great video brotha 🤙
nice, i just did a carp fly fishing vid
Sweet, I'll make sure to check it out.
No eyes or, bead chain are?
the beadchain are the eyes.

Wonk..
Where they do that at, though?
