His dribbling and finishing skill is why I'll never believe the whole "he's just not dedicated to basketball" narrative. You don't become this talented without caring. Sure, he may be motivated by other things nowadays, but he definitely was dedicated to basketball.
Nice to hear a NBA pro talking about how important consistency is. I began playing basketball a year ago (I am 18) and I‘ve never played before. I was completely garbage at dribbling at first, but through consistency I built up a ballhandling which is equal to most of the people who are playing since several yrs
At game speed the drills will enhance your game. I chose football ( my 1st love ) bcz I liked running around and either hitting people or scoring . Basketball excellence is ALOT of reps .
True as well. I had a few moves at different spots of the court or depending how I was passed or how I caught the ball. As well as a couple counter moves at each.
You are not wrong. I just think people focus on being right too much (not you specifically). Because his way also works. I think what makes him the best ballhandler of all time is that he has no go to dribble move because he is so fluid in and out of every basic dribble. He uses them as needed. I just think to get to his level is MUCH more difficult than developing a few go to moves.
@@mikeruck2888 you explained this perfectly. Kyrie is what I would call a master at his trade. He has nearly perfected his style of play and can use any move in his arsenal at will fluently.
