We've been to Orlando's three times since we moved here - twice for breakfast and once for dinner. We have yet to stop at that ice cream shop - we definitely need to make that a regular stop. By the way, their breakfasts are out of this world. Anything with their creamy poblano sauce will knock your socks off.
Sounds good! We usually don't ever eat breakfast unless we have friends visiting that want to go. Have only been out a few times for breakfast in Loreto.
Seems to me one of the byproducts of owning and operating a resort is you kind of have a built in social circle. I'm sure you occasionally have guests that you really enjoy and get along well with and go out to do things with. That's pretty cool. That glass bottom boat and view is awesome! 🙂 We JUST finished building our home about 30 minutes south of San Felipe and they're lots of ex-pats in our development.....BBQs, pickleball, kayaking, watching football at the Clubhouse......we're sure not bored when we're there......kinda similar to what you guys have socially I'd assume. We will get down to see you guys this Spring.
I recommend the trip to Isla Coronado on the glass bottom boat. Seeing the rays, turtles, fish and sea lions is fun fun fun. But I highly recommend Pufferfish Villas. A high quality accommodation. Dooglass and Esperanza are great people. Attentive to your needs. Hands on owners. I have been there twice and plan on returning this fall/winter.
What amazing beaches! I think for most of us the trip would perhaps be the highlight of a vacation to go out in a glass-bottom boat! For a hundred dollars each it's really not bad! When I think of all the tours in Hawaii that were near that price per person, it is VERY good! I think my last helicopter Island tour was nearly $375 each with a group of 4 of us. so also, the sunset dinner boats that don't even last that long can be expensive. Your life in Mexico seems to be very fulfilling and there you are relaxing on vacation so what could be better?
Yes Hawaii has gotten very expensive. Things are also going up here like everywhere else, but they are still lower than many tourist vacation spots. It is nice to have all the vacation activities at our fingertips. We have so much work to do that I often stop and think that it's been weeks since we have even gone down to the beach just 600ft away! Heck sometimes we are working on stuff and don't leave our property for a week or more. 😂😂
@@dooglassandesperanza Actually here where I live in Oregon there is a ton of recreational spots and our fingertips.. I live 10 minutes from beautiful waterfalls, 7 minutes from a lake, 5 minutes to the river. Plus I can leave my weather zone in the shoulder seasons and go to Bend in less than 2 hours or the beach in an hour and a half... But I am here in the yard working my garden and taking care of animals! It's a thing... but invite me to Hawaii and I am onboard!! Or Mexico! :)
@@dooglassandesperanza So you know! Natural beauty, but our homeowner's insurance and Property taxes are horrible! Sometimes I think renting would be cheaper ... But at least we still spend most Winter months in Mexico. So I am ok. :)
Big problem with renting is that your costs continue to increase year after year forever. Hard to be on a fixed income with your housing costs rising 5% every year.
I'm building a house at El Rincon in Loreto Bay.........can't wait to move in. Thanks for hooking me up with Eduardo, who will be installing my garage. Leon
We checked out Baja Haay once but haven't been yet. We only eat out about once a week so it takes us some time to try everything. We've been here two years and there are still lots of restaurants we want to try! 🤣
Pufferfish Villas is about a 15 minute walk to the center of town where you will find food and groceries. We also have free bikes for our guests and golf carts available to rent.

We just drove down through there yesterday. Esperanza was commenting how much it had grown up south of SF.

Thank you so much!!
💡👍Brilliant !!
Thanks
Wonderful video. So many exciting things to do around Loreto. Keep ‘em coming
More to come!
I LOVE your “back yard” 🏖. Indeed a must do when visiting Loreto. 🐡🌴
Definitely!

I lived in the Portland area for 43 years. Avid mountain climber, backpacker, hiker, snowboarder, and mountain biker.

Glad he could help!
One of our favorite spots for breakfast is Orlando’s.
If you haven’t been to Baja Haay yet you should give them a try.

Question? Your place is easily walkable to restaurants and grocery stores close by correct?

Coronodo island
Beautiful
We should meet when we get down there
Feel free to contact us though Facebook or Instagram and we can setup a meet
We don’t have any social media. We will figure out a way. All we need to be social is a Margarita …..Lol
You can always email us at dooglassandesperanzaadventures@gmail.com but please email early because we don't always check it every day.
How long is the boat ride over to the island ??
25-40 min depending on the boat.
