Hey buddy thanks for this video just did mine using it.
Couple of observations for others those clips you said you broke I managed to pop out with various shapes of tools just a bit awkward to get to 😂 I probably would have broke them if I didn't see this video though 🙏
I didn't need to shave down those pegs when putting the switch through the gap, I wrapped it in electrical tape, put a bit of grease on it and pushed it through from the "inside" undamaged.
Replaced mine today, many thanks for this incredibly accurate description on how to complete it.

I cant open my boot at all....same car....is there a button inside the car you can press to open ?
Crawl into the boot there’s a little hole you can poke through at the bottom. Then poke your finger through you’ll have to play about till you find the catch and push it open. Really hard to explain lol
as what Ryan said ... go to the boot ... there is a plastic lid ... remove it and then you will have access to the emergency key to open the boot.

Yeah no button opens my boot.
I have the same problem. I have looked at several videos and none of them are remotely like the inside of my boot; cannot find a release catch

Hello my Button works but my Licence Plate lights don't work the left one had a bit Water inside. Do you think that solution you did will fix my not working lights or is there a other problem?
Your problem is ways easy to fix. You just need flat screwdriver and to can take the bulb out from outside and replace it easily
It's not the bulbs i tried that already. I ordered new Cable from Aliexpress it arrived i put it on the Wire from the car but the new one nothing works i pressed the button many times nothing. Must i Programm the new button?
@@TheNeoMassacre sorry for the late reply ... However, I am not sure about the programming ... In my case, I only pressed the pad and I think the car did kinda an update and recognise the new part and everything worked fine after that ... Hope that will help :D

Didn't, and the boot worked once i changed the boot pad
Where is the fuse? I have same problem Same car and also one of the metal pole things that hold the boot open is broke
The tailgate on my car only opens halfway
I think this is something to deal with the hydraulic cylinder on both side ... Or check the "open boot" button that on the driver door , you may need to change it from "half open" to "full open"
Impossible to hear what you're saying and impossible to see what you're doing...
Then record your own video and let everyone else benefit from it
