Jordies, I have to admit something - I have a bit of a problem with sausage rolls. When I used to rent a place near a 7/11, I would go there almost every day for one specific item: their cheese and bacon sausage roll. I know, I know, it's not exactly gourmet cuisine, but I just couldn't resist it. And if they were out of the warm ones, I'd even ask for a cold one to cook at home.
Over time, I got to know the manager of the store and we developed a bit of a rapport. She would often put a sausage roll aside for me and even bend the rules a bit to sell me cold products. I was a regular customer, after all!
So when I saw some negative reviews about 7/11 sausage rolls, I had to speak up. In a world that's all about cutting costs and maximizing profits, the humble sausage roll has taken a hit. Brands like Mrs Mac's and Four and Twenty just don't cut it anymore - the quality of their ingredients and flavors has suffered. As someone who eats a lot of sausage rolls (like, a lot), I can confidently say that 7/11's bacon and cheese sausage roll is the best one out there. Sure, it's mass-produced, but it's still delicious.
To whoever wrote those negative reviews, I have to ask - what's your problem? It's just a sausage roll! Maybe you need to reevaluate your priorities and appreciate the simple pleasures in life.

As a South Aussie, not wrong. Although it's more so OTR (On the Run) which is at basically most BP service stations. Owned by the parent company Peregrine who does OTR, Krispy Kreme, Smokemart, and sometimes you can see a HJs, Oportos or Subway in their servos.
They're dominant in the SA Market and basically was able to shut down 7 Eleven from opening.
They have spread into Victoria as well so have fun Melbourne.

The reason why the M&Ms are coming up a different price is because that $6.70 tag is for a different product.
Someone might have accidently put restocked the wrong rack, but more likely is someone swapped the price tag around hoping for a discount but was too stupid to realise it has the product name in the tag. The guy at the register realised this and knew/assumed the people trying to buy the M&Ms at the fake shelf price did it and that is why he kicked them out and cited his Law Degree studies.
The $6.70 product is the 160 gram MARS bar pods (little wafer bite filled with mars bar filling).
The M&Ms shown in the photo is the 380 gram Peanut M&Ms which cost $7 at Woolies, so $9 at 7-ELEVEN is expected due to fuel station mark ups.
The person complaining was most likely rigged this in the first place and got upset when their scam didn't work.

A woman called May used to make the burgers. I remember that she looked like a cadaver and that she had a large weeping sore on her forehead. Anyway, a 7-Eleven opened up down the road - it must've been one of the first 7-Elevens in Melbourne. It was only operational for a few months before it mysteriously blew up.
