The 2.0 hybrid is the best ball in the hammer lineup in my opinion. I keep waiting for something to come out with as good of a look, but the thing is just goated!
They just sent me the new 3.0 platinum hybrid 2 weeks ago. It’s the best hybrid that I have ever thrown hands down!!! It’s is a huge step up from even the 2.0. And looks almost the same.
For those not in the know, the core is from the overseas Hammer Ultima and Hammer Ultima Pearl, released in 2022, along with the Semtex coverstock, which was in the Scandal, Scandal Pearl, and Scandal/S. Those were the hardest hooking and responsive symmetrical balls Hammer had put out at the time, so I'm not surprised that the Hazmat is doing the same. What I am surprised on is how much CLEANER the BW 2.0 Hybrid is to it. The Scandal/S was the cleanest of the Scandal Series, so I'm wondering if HK22 is the difference between the Hazmat and the entire Scandal Series. What would be interesting to see is a comparison between the BW 2.0 Hybrid and the Statement Hybrid. Different cores, yes, but the coverstocks are the same: The Statement Hybrid uses the Aggression Hybrid CFI, while the BW 2.0 Hybrid uses the Aggression Hybrid w/HK22. If the Statement Hybrid is as clean as the BW 2.0 Hybrid, then the Semtex coverstock is the tale of the tape.
I bought the hammer Ultimate last yr. The black one. The hammer statement was 1 of my best balls every by hammer. Glad to see another person know their hammer balls. The Scandal balls were an awesome ball for me again in house or tournaments back in the day the Scandal always hooked for me. Thanks for your knowledge and your input
One more thing.Q for you and for me’ the widow 2.0 Charles is rolling’ what is the difference to the white 2.0 that’s coming out against the red 2.0 ? Thank you and hoping you can tell me
@@remington1439 The BW 2.0 Pearl is an overseas release, and is obviously, a pearl, compared to the BW 2.0 Hybrid, which is a hybrid. A pearlized BW 2.0 hasn't made the catalog yet for it to be released worldwide (including the US). There isn't a new BW catalog ball on the approved list newer than July 11, 2023, which is a black/hold BW 2.0 hybrid and the BW 2.0 Pearl, both which went overseas, so I wouldn't expect a new Widow until early next year.
Great review again man!! Love me a hammer🔨. Outside of getting it drilled pin down, would surfacing it to 2000 or 3000 allow it to have a smoother transition? New to what surfacing does and interested. Like you, I like having all my balls drilled similar. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

The core is the difference now vs cover stock and core. I don't agree with the direction brunswick is going with all the balls they're releasing with the same cover. I've thrown 2 hk22 balls. Neither matched up with me.. one barely hooked the order hooked to much.. ill stick with storm.
Everyone of the balls that have the base formula of hk22 is not the exact same. Each on has its own nuance. Some are cleaner and some are earlier like the brutal collision and the piranha. If you go watch some of my hk22 videos you can see a there is a clear difference between each balls. If you want to see.

My league bag is completely revamped. 2.0 Hybrid (2000 Grit) Hazmat (2000 Grit) Web Pearl (5000 Grit). Last night I never even made it to my Web Pearl, because the first 2 balls did their jobs GREAT!!!
This ball has been on my "want list" since it was announced, but I was waiting for you to release a vid on it before I drilled one. Not sure I can give you a better compliment than that.

close to the same ball reaction the high speed is slightly more continuous and the widow is more flippy but the difference is subtle.

I did 500 to 3k resurface on hybrid. I don't like compound on most balls. I get a weird over under on them.
