    Back in the day Boba got me curious about the bounty hunters, and the Mandalorians themselves. The armor and the rifle and the rocket launcher/jet pack gunfighter - all cool * I read books and comics over the years lol and the Mandalorian backstory always had me. They kinda brought all their troubles onto themselves but thats another story. They were both conquerors or they warred with someone over something else. But they could kill jedi...all of their arsenal pretty much is made to counter or disable a jedi (many on both sides died in war).
    Cool vid props to you 🍺👍

    This is one of the most useful tutorials I've found and all it is is just tips and purchases. This was posted 3 years ago too. Shame he never got to the gloves 'cause they looked awesome.

    Should be a good investment. I'll just make my money back of bounty hunting

    While I am aware this video is a year old, I would like to let everyone know that Galactic Rebel Forces, also known as "Schubiwon/Shubiwan" is a banned vendor, due to low quality and poor shaping with outrageous prices, as well as other bad practices. This person has been banned since at least 2013, and is still on the banned list. If you want to get good armor, check on the MMCC sales forum! It's free to join, and approved vendors are always the way to go.

    A good point when trying to bond two pieces together because your materials are too small(like for your cod piece) is to bond it together while flat, then do the shaping

    Great video! I'm starting mine this week. My only concern is the female chest piece. Any suggestions?

      It’s probably too late, but have you tried any thermoplastics?

    • @ash-tv3bu
      @ash-tv3bu 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      theoretically it should work the same as any other chestplate: cut out your template, form it to your body. if your chest is bigger you might want to make a larger template and add some darts to make sure you've got enough room to be comfortable.

    So I’m building armour. I’ve already made the chest plate and fist shoulder pad. But like, once I finish the armour, how do I wear it? What do I wear under? Do I use snaps, Velcro, magnets, or do I just glue it onto whatever I’m wearing under?

    I’m planning on making Mandalorian armor that has the legacy style but has the Jango Fett helmet and a waist cape that’s connected to the belt and blaster holster, and was thinking on doing eve foam or this kydex material but I don’t think we have a heat gun and I’m not very good at judging body dimensions , what would be the best thing to do, the style I’m going for is sort of a combo

    • @Alexm2255
      @Alexm2255  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used masking fluid, which you can find at any art store which is in a little bottle with white liquid...Step 1) all you have to do is paint the helmet silver (let dry)....dap some masking fluid in the pattern you want your scratches and let dry....Step 2) DONT PEEL OF MASKING FLUID YET....spray paint over the silver and masking fluid with a dark grey and once dry peel the masking fluid to reveal the silver underneath...Step 3) dap masking fluid over the silver and a little bit of the dark grey, let dry, and than spray over your final color (color you want your mando to be) let dry, then peel everything off and walaaa lol I have a video showing just that on my channel

    • @Alexm2255
      @Alexm2255  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Timothy Woods the masking fluid is $20 ish dollars so if your on a budget...Elmer’s glue is a cheap alternative but it’s not gonna peel off the same to give you the same effect.

      SpitFireHD usually the seller would provide an option for sizes. I’m 5’7 and the back piece fit on my body like a glove..also the lower armor set fit perfectly. The knees came in only one size though...is there a specific piece of armor that you had in mind?

    If you want battle damage, paint the piece silver first... then any place that needs damage or scarring, use liquid latex and splotch it on the places that you wish to have the silver seen. Then paint on your top color, pull/rub latex off to reveal underneath silver coat. ;)
