      2 Save money towards retirement(Roth IRA/401k)
      3 Grow a solid investment.
      I made a lot from 3 (investment) is very important to financial independence.

    What a player and what a person. Every time I listen to Jonny speak I feel wiser, the next generation of players are lucky to have access to his knowledge. If every player was as dedicated as him, you’d never lose a game.

    How can a man who was so brutal and focused be so intellectual and insightful. Just spouting life lessons right and left. What a legend!

    He pretty much missed 4 years at the peak of his career through injury. Hes already a legend but just imagine what else he would have done with that extra time?! If any English sportsman of my generation deserves to be knighted it is him.

    • @mhorlor

      I think he has that potential to give back even more as a coach/mentor etc, than he achieved as a player - and that really excites me for the future and I just hope that the likes of a Marcus Smith listen and learn from him.

    Some really good life lessons there. As youngsters growing up with social media and the constant negativity, his words really resonate surrounding the power you give to people to decide your life. I will be thinking about that for a while!

    Coming from a guy who supports two teams: the French and anyone who plays against England.

  • @MaraisStephane

    For me Wilkinson has been the most irritating english player at first, then he's been the one I admired the most after his renaissance at Toulon. His joy winning the HCup and the brennus to finish his career was my happiest moment. Best English and rugby ambassador.

    • @newspaper9949
      @newspaper9949 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why was he irritating at first??

    • @MaraisStephane
      @MaraisStephane 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@newspaper9949 because he was really too good. His kicking was just too precise. Nothing to do with his personality. His game was just above everything that could be seen back then and that was irritating but not frustrating.

    I found it very interesting what he said about trying hard to appear humble just to appear important. There's several high profile athletes who go out of their way to show how normal and unassuming they are. It doesn't always sit well with people. No wonder Muhammad Ali has gone down as The Greatest. Now there's someone who can be accused of trying hard to be someone else!
