The thing that impressed me most in this video is the guy climbing back up the rope. I wonder what the height of that ascent was and how long it took him to reach the top. Even at my old age I think I could make the climb, but suspect it would take a lot longer than him!
The name of this cave is goa jomblang, this cave is located in Blekonang village, Tepus district, Gunungkidul regency, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, I am One of the residents in the cave area jomblang, from since I was born 1989 until now 2017, there are those who dare to go into the cave, other than the area is famous for its mystical, the people of that region also no one has the equipment that menyahi, so with this video I was really amazed by the courage of the person who dared to enter the cave , and that person is also a foreigner as well, salute ,,,,

Spectacular vid! Subbed! I'm wondering what kind of fish that is at 4:06. An underground stream near my house has fish in it similar to this.
+Starbuckin No idea. I could only tell that it was albino and blind, which seems to indicate it was something adapted specifically to the cave's ecosystem as opposed to some species that lives on the surface and occasionally gets washed into subterranean waters. That shot came from a cave in TAG, so if you live in that area, good chance it's a similar species. Of course, I'd imagine that many (if not most) cave adapted species are unique to the cave that they live in, since their population can be totally confined to that same environment for millions of generations. If there's a biologist who happens to read this and thinks they can identify it, I'd also be interested to know exactly what it was.

What is the guy at 4:40 using for ascending? He's just "pedaling" and seems to be using no hands whatsoever for going up :D
In that shot, Clinton is using a variation of the "ropewalker" system. It's a little more complex to set up than the traditional frog system, but it allows for significantly more efficient climbing motion. It typically requires a chest pulley and some bungee cords in addition to the mechanical ascenders you would use for any other SRT climbing system. Ropewalkers can make technical maneuvers a hassle because of the added complexity, but I think the system he's come up with seems pretty versatile. Check out th-cam.com/video/T8MqJnmU8H8/w-d-xo.html.

Rob Spangler Are there any other people that use that type of ascending system?
Miki Barkal Ropewalkers seem fairly popular for extremely deep open air pits. I've seen them used by groups yoyo-ing in Mexico. The common ropewalker (www.innermountainoutfitters.com/imgear-ropewalker-system/) incorporates a bulky chest harness and pulleys, which are a pain to drag through crawls and squeezes. I think the frog system's weight is the reason it continues to be the most popular caving rig. As for whether anyone else is using Clinton's specific system, I can't say. Certainly seems lower profile.
I've experimented with one a couple of times. They're good for single long pitches but a faff for re-belays or when you have a series of short multiple pitches.

That's a steel micro rack. It's a pretty standard caving descender. In the U.S. it's generally favored over ATCs, figure-8's, and other types of belay devices. They're a bit heavy, but they're super durable when rappelling on sandy\muddy ropes, and they offer highly variable friction. They're also easy to lock off, and you can quickly and safely detach them from the rope when you're crossing a knot or a rebelay.

I'm a British caver. I tend to use a rack most of the time, they're a little bulky but give a smooth ab and don't heat up as much (good for long or quick abseils). You can also feed 2 ropes through them as an alternative technique for pull-through trips, although it's not one I'd recommend. If you do, go slow as the 2 ropes can cross and jam in the device, also the ropes don't always go through at the same speed and you need to put a stopper knot on both ends of the rope.
Although I personally prefer racks I also sometimes use a petzl stop and like at least one person in my group to have one, as they're more versatile for rescue/hauling systems.
I've also occasionally (when I've lent my rack & Petzl-Stop to a novice) just used a large pear-shaped Krab and an italian hitch knot which is great fun!

what can happen if were in a cave during an earth quake?
+DEE SEE Not sure. Have never experienced an earthquake while underground. I suppose there are collapses from time to time, but somehow I feel like unless you're right on the fault line, being surrounded by solid rock would actually be much safer than being on a freeway overpass, or inside some man-made structure.

+Qonita Badeges You should get some better kneepads. Been through many pairs, and found that dirty dave's caving kneepads are more durable, comfortable, and lighter than just about anything else. Anyway, it's not an adventure unless you take a little bit of a beating, right? :)

I was thinking the same thing while watching this!! This type of caving is an adventure into discovering nature's hidden beauty. Spare me the "if one thing goes wrong, you're dead...let's wiggle on our bellies for 100 yards, not seeing any spectacular views, but let's experience feeling like you're buried alive" type of caving.
