At this point you guys seriously have to consider. Jumping into manufacturing OEM part's for Hondas In the vary same way company's Out there do for the muscle cars
The quality of builds are always top tier, love watching every episode. What i want to see more of is the actual build process, like clips and behind the scenes of you guys assembling each car, or clips at the body shop of the car going through the restoration steps. Basically like how tommyfyea or toms turbo garage do
Nothing but the best from Ahmed and the crew. That black hatch is flawless. Finally the video is out ❤. Glizzy gang gang like my black hoodie from you Sonic203. Just know i love the videos. Great videos. Y'all make me and my 10 month old daughter laugh and smile with the content. 📹 🎥 .
Out of all the H builds and modifiers of H's I gotta say that you guys have me craving to see what the next build is going to be like! You guys take the H to another level!!! Keep up the work and keep the vids going! MLR.
@sonic_203 definitely did. Your brothers car is beautiful. You all should do an update on what's going on with each car. Are you going to be racing the awd k-series, b-series, nitro car, etc soon?
ive been waiting for this color. i suggested it last time you guys asked for a color suggestion. Carnival yellow Eg....dope af! keep it up guys. S/O from Long Island, NY
@@sonic_203 Appreciate the good content. I just picked up an Ej1 paradise green blue green pearl some idiot painted over it but I'm thinking of possibly going with the oem color, possibly adding little flake nothing crazy or maybe I might go with Dc2 ITR Phoenix Yellow / Eg6 Carnival Yellow. My build aint gonna be anything like your guys build but its gonna be a nice budget build.
I’ve said it several times before and I’ll say it again these boys got the Honda game on lock down. Nobody is building Hondas like y’all hands down museum quality 💯💯💯 🚗 💨
@@sonic_203 of course brother keep up the hustle always putting out beautiful content and that gem from mrmdecals was much appreciated just ordered a few things so thanks for that gem.

Do ctr rear seats they fit better than dc2 rears and ctr’s are black stitched. Try to find oem dc2 yellow fronts with the yellow stitch shift boot for the black Si.
So Is He Building This To Get Waxed By Sonic AWD 👀 😂😂 would be nice to see the friendly battle with cacho awd em1 as well 🔥🔥🔥 Sonic 🔵 Knuckles 🔴 Shadow⚫️ I see what y’all doing 🤣
Damn, I need that OCD meticulous attention of a builder on the west coast lol. I might get have to ship the EG back east. I have a virgin 96 DC2 that has never been touched as well I need to start making plans for.
No shortcuts, get a spoon k20a engine, spoon intake, spook calipers, spoon wheels, advan tires. Carbon hood and the spoon livery for the “street setup”
As a painter, both cars look great, but I can tell you without a doubt, the black car definitely has more time invested in getting that clear pretty flat. The yellow also looks great but I can see it has a slight peel, which still looks awesome and I love a slight bit of peel on most cars, but the black one I can definitely see the difference in the finish. If you want to know what I am talking about, go to an area where there is strong florescent lighting and if you see a slight chop in the reflection from the florescent lights, that's from the orange peel.🍊 Now being super hyper critical, 17:40 right under the gas cap and 19:14-19:16 on the quarter just above the wheel well with JRoc's reflection, there is a tiny bit of shrinkage where the upper curve of the wheel well is. Could of been a multitude of things exp: primer or clear didn't fully gas off before sanding and from different paint materials expanding and contracting in different speeds. Quick note: Gassing off can take months before it has fully shrunken down. In cold weather climates, I seen primer and clears take up to 3+ months before in has fully shrunk down. Has happened to me on a Supra I done, blocked it flat and polished it and a month later, I saw some shrinkage around the quarters and tight bends where it looked like orange peel but wasn't. Its why highest level restoration cars take FOREVER. Again, these are things that 98% of people won't see or care, that's my OCD and going to car shows that judge concourse level paint jobs. 😆 Again, Sam's job looks absolutely fantastic this is just because I too am a painter and I have an eye more for concourse level paint jobs and having a mentor who was a paint rep in the industry for many many years, so I learned a lot. It's a curse tbh, I now see every little minute thing lol. Also, the deepest black in my opinion is Beluga black (paint code: L041) which comes off the Bentley. That definitely looks like your color. There's one other guy who also has a EG hatchback in California with that color. Lastly, I would do the Spoon Seats and get your stock rear seats reupholstered so they have a perfect fitment and not gapped like when people do DC2R tops and DB8R bottoms. I also know two companies, one that still sells the OEM Recaro Fabric for both the red and black SR3's and another that sells the reupholstered fabric for the Recaros but in all colors Red, Yellow, Blue, Black literally a perfect match in color and texture of the materials. Me personally, I do Confetti SR3 Recaro's and do the door cards in Confetti and the rear eg seat in Oem black Recaro fabric on the outer with the Confetti in the center. Would look so freaking good! Both cars look awesome!
@tommyfyeah same. I love glass finishes but there is a time and a place. If it's a weekend/show car and is not daily driven like here in this FL sun, it should last a long time. Btw, you did a fantastic job on the yellow car.
I think it’s the reflection of the video considering there’s 0 shrinkage on any of that car because I allow all my show cars proper/extended cure times between each step. Cars are set into primer and I wait atleast 6 weeks before blocking. I went over that hatch to assure no imperfections are on any panel. The code you’re speaking about from a Bentley is actually more of a brownish black side. I used my own formula I’ve had for years when customers want deep black. Normally the clear coat shifts the colors to “yellowish” due to the UV in the clear… in this application it does not. It’s a perfect balance between base coat shades and clear application. I think you would just have to see the vehicle in person… there is 0 imperfections on that car. All edges are silky smooth as well. I actually love to shoot a vehicle with factory orange peel… but in this case the crew wanted glass and that’s what I gave them. Also, the vehicle needs a final touch up when they are done assembling. I will go over the vehicle one last time to take care of a finger marks and light service scratches. Black sucks but looks so good when done properly lol
@bbs_sam78 You are right. It definitely could have been from the way they took that shot of the car and the way the reflection mirrored off the panel. The car for sure looks fantastic. I didn't know that the Beluga had a slight brown hue, I am definitely going to check that out. Oh, I know all about that yellow UV resin on some of these high dollar clears. House of Kolor USC01 and Glasurit 929-109 look like someone pissed in the can. 😂 I had a conversation with my friend who has been a paint rep for Axalta, Basf and now PPG for the past 30 years and he was telling me you just have to be careful when your doing production work on silvers and whites with those clears with high UV resin, it can throw off the color on your panels. Yeah, you and I definitely see eye to eye with peel. I love the jap car orange peel, it's super tight where it even looks pretty flat. You did a great job on your brother's EK9. Those BMW's and Porsche's have that super chunky molasses peel. 😆 And you are right too, flat finishes look incredible, but even something as stupid as a California duster can scratch the paint. 😆 After you do your little things here and there, tell them to get it PPF asap. Hope all is well brother.
@@Speakingdatruth Yea brother 100% it’s the angle. With all my work I always make sure there’s no imperfections. Even down the line, 2,5,10, years it looks exactly the same as the day I completed it. That Glasurit 929 is honestly a very very good clear but what I don’t like is it 100% looks like someone drank a gallon of water than pissed in a cup… 😂 I wish I could make more content like my brothers car but it’s hard for me to run my shop and do content. One day soon though… I appreciate you my man.
