👉Update Tuesday 1pm: G'day everyone - We've just been informed that a gofundme has been set up to get the owners of the burnt out rig back on track. (Details in link below). All the gear, on the whinch for a year😂 Maybe lose the disco lights, jacuzzi and the 5 star Michelin restaurant and you could possibly wheel a track or two. I'll be watching to see how long the chev lasts genuinely interested
Enjoy seeing your adventures. Accidents happen always good to be prepared but must say amazing how often people don't have fire-extinguishers or know how to use them..especially in places like the outback etc were doesn't take much to burn down massive areas. Glad that family is safe and its why insurance exists, lives over vehicles (which can be a kick in the guts)
Love the channel and builds, been watching for years. I’ve got nearly an identical Chevy here in Canada though and I don’t know why they put all that work and money into decking this one out but left the low hanging factory side rails on and didn’t put a little bit of lift? Those long trucks need that bit of extra height and slight tire size upgrade if they’re gonna follow bending shorter wheelbase more modified smaller trucks.
Hey there. THanks for the vlog. I was working In Derby last year at the hospital and may be going back in the new year. I was wondering how you can get hold of your Blue shirts ? I know they have BCF on them but if you wanted all the patches and sponsors etc, how do you get one. ?
If i had the spare coin for one of these trucks…. I’d spend it my old 70and 80 series and be confident it’d be far more likely to get me out and back than one of these electronic laden new utes.
Not sure if the Chev was the right choice for this track Jase? I keep cringing worrying about the damage underneath. LOL Sick truck though brother!!! Good winch did the trick.
@@harrywalker968 Actually... refer video from two months or so ago showing off the new Silverado titled " FIRST EVER AUSTRALIAN CHEVY ZR2 TOURING RIG". It's a Chevy 6.2L V8 430HP LS3 crate engine.
I"m assuming insurance doesn't cover you if you've installed the 12v??? Would love to know this considering I installed my own!! Poor bloke, looked heart broken!
Hello there on the other site off the pond. Why you dont make the video a litel longer 45min are so that is beter than 25 are 26min i hoop you can do somthing about this. Love the channel very machs. Greeting from Belgium and my Georges.
I'd bloody love to order that yellow neon Fred Cap. The problem is Alfred it's $60 - $100 to get them down under... Might have to wait till next year man!
Compared to the old 79 and the D-Max, that Chevy is absolute tripe. I like you Jase, but those trucks have become too bling and they look fragile. The beatings the older trucks could take, and you guys made it work, the Chevy and the Ford took damage the others would have shrugged off. For me, this seasons truck is already the D-Max.
4:05 feel bad for the dude. He has lost everything. Could be bad wiring. Because that is what makes vehicles burn. Hope he recovers and has learnt a lesson now not to opt for cheaper solutions.
I hope they had welcome to country?😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Let's get bogged & we can make a video & make some $$$$$ to pay for our gear. Used to watch it on 7 mate, not anymore!
Bruh they got heaps of money and sponsors and they recon they can’t do nothing for him. They could do a whole rebuild for him whit the money they make and make vids on it to make more money 💁
this is the EV battle...... in offroad vehicles are lithium/ev batteries good??? i mean the old agm batteries did good but were heavy......... is having a lithium battery onboard to save weight, a good thing,....?
I'm sticking to the old style batteries in my caravan ok there heavy and basic , but these new batteries have electronics in them and that stuff is made in China and their not good on making a safe and reliable product 😮and never ever install one under the bonnet
No their bloody dangerous them lithium batteries stay away from them bloody simple they not designed for being in a hot environment under the bonnet in engine bay also they not designed for bumpy corrugated roads being vibrated about their inturnals fall apart and they catch on fire 😳
Most fires start from poor termination/crimping of the cables, loose terminals arc and wear down over time. Correct sized wiring and fusing along with correct termination / crimping along with a quality BMS, no problems at all.
Explain to me what the situation was with this guy's car that burnt to the ground in minutes. Was this an EV? A hybrid? Or did he just have a large lithium battery in the back to run devices off of? It looks like there was a lithium battery involved, just going off of the speed the vehicle burnt to the tarmac. If this was a lithium fire, DO NOT GO NEAR THE SMOKE. Even if you don't inhale the smoke, but just get a bit on exposed skin, you will be crippled for life, in the way that two Victorian fire fighters were earlier in the year; who were trying to but an EV fire out.
OMG, what a load of crap this comment is. When an EV catches fire, it's head line news, but when a ICE catches fire, well, lets blame the lithium battery. This EV lithium battery fire stuff is out of control, every one is running lithium batteries in their cars these days and they very rarely catch on fire, if at all. Now, to asked this stupid question, was this an EV or a hybrid, of course it wouldn't be. Don't you realize any car, especially a 4WD setup for touring Australia, will have a huge amount of gear that will burn and also any car will burn like this one. Don't they carry a huge amount of fuel and I'm sure it will burn very well thankyou.
@@Australiacallingand to add to that, Lithium LiFePO4 is non combustible, which most car solution battery’s are. A lot of miss information on that. The Lithium fires you see are other chemistry’s, like lithium ion. A lot of these in car dual battery fires are caused by poor wiring and not protection fuses close to the main crank battery.
they are clamping down on everything to do with freedom of move ment anything with outdoors self survival ect the lifestyle the u.s has been enjoying alot more than aust. its not looking good with owning a 4x4 in few yrs time
Well done using old mates worst day as click bait. If you're more than happy to capitalise off his misfortune you should be more than happy to reimburse him for it.

These blokes make Russell Coight look like Malcolm Douglas.
As Australians say,I reckon the chevy seems heavy for this kind of adventure, and thanks to Simon he has made me have a special love for the Dmax..
Give the old fella one of your thousand 4x4s jason!
that chev is a piece of krap
With all the money you guys make I'm sure you can send that poor unlucky bloke some merchandise
they could buy him a truck,,with the money they make..just from subs..
Insurance is a thing
I have watched a few of these vids and they are definitely the Laurel and Hardy of off road adventures.

The noise in the cab of the chev would drive you crazy
Shoulda stuck with the F250, woulda pulled the trailer and the rest of the trucks up that hill on its own!

Did Home Valley to Kalumburu in 2019.....enjoy !!
I hope you got the guys details to send him some campboss gear !
All I can say is that now I'm not getting a Chevy !
That 300 series is a bit of kit 👌 and that Chev just performed against all the nay sayers and Simon in D Max did a good 👍 job spotting
How good does the Chev look 👀 but the little D-Max punches well above its weight as usual
Hope you brought some replacement tie rods Jase, the originals fail when off roading. Gone through 3 pairs in the Hummer H2.
Did the Carson River track in 2016, it’s awesome! Went from Kalumburu to Home Valley Station.
I saw you drive off with the grass still on fire. Good on ya. 🤦♂
Jase likes to bark the instructions
Snakes are not poisonous. They are venomous. Big difference.
Saved the Engel i see! Nice move
Maybe if you took some air out of the tires and that big yank truck you might have got up there
That Chev has bloody loud cabin noise.
Typical mate it’s American.
What compared to a 79 come on man it's like 61 decibels that's pretty bloody quite

G'day Kevren -- We've just gotten the new ones in! You can find them on the campboss.com webstore. Cheers, Team All4Adventure

Where did the boat trailer go???
I think the guys in the camera car towed it for a while.
21:36 That Chevy needs more tire sidewall. Like the muddies to raise it a bit more.
Gunna be a long season for Jase in the new bewt amazing truck 😂😂😂
No travel, things beat to the shit already from a dirt rd 😂😂
Oh it’s getting worse by the minute, maybe shoulda burnt it with old mates
its going to be a bloody long season with that chev having to be winched everwhere
Billy had it singing on those last donuts. Charlies car consistent as.
In the Kimberly they're are a lot of gutsy guys. Is it expensive to fly?
Another great video proving not to do your own electrical install unless you really know what you’re doing
no just dont be cheap
Fuses rule.
The cheapest insurance you will ever need.
Doesn't matter how good your setup is..

Que pena el pobre al que se le quemó el coche. Su cara lo decía todo. Ojalá no le cueste mucho hacerse con otro coche. Suerte para él.
Should start a sweep stake with guesses as to how long that trailer will last. 😂
you better pack another winch because you will be winching that chevy across australia
nathing rong with chev,s mate.. just the name.. too modern,,too much sht on them,,all modern vehicles..

Did old mate have a fire extinguisher, and do you fellas carry a heap of dry-cleaned and pressed new shirts for every camera shot?
Bloody top vid guys 👌🍺🇦🇺
Poor old side step took a pissling...
23:21 How does the 300 V6 twin turbo do vs old 200 V8 ?
Im impressed with the Silverado
a whole lot of winching a Chev
Great episode guys enjoy your content
Wouldn’t you tow the trailer with the 300 and if needed winch off the chev. A lot light combination
The 4WD bogans are back on the road.
UTES we're in Australia.
Could of get old mate a $5000 BCF voucher
Jase trusting that guy with his brand new 300. Does anyone know why they need 4 trucks including camera car ? The poor Chevy is toast.
Are the chainsaws battery.
Hubby has one. Bestvthing since. Slice bread he reckons
Black headed python tastes nice too 👍🏿
hi there, I'm from a NEWZEALAND. Can I buy a BOSS SHADOW QUICKIE 2.5 AWNING and can shipping to NEWZEALAND ? Thank you.

Could’ve given old mate an A4A stubby holder to watch his pride and joy burn…..😢
Jase - how’s that ram iPad mount? Does it vibrate to the shit house when your driving or is it reasonably stable?
At the end of the 1st episode Jase had beer tap installed in his colman fridge. I couldn't find it on the web.
Anybody know where I get one ?
Can anyone do this trip if you get all the right permits and stuff any information would be great thanks in advance Luke
What happened to the trailer at the end of??
unfortunatly i think simon needs to have the trailer
Great work
40psi club
You do realize if you air down you get better traction
That Silverado doesn't drone at all... 🙄
Awsome. Guys.
Was that an 80 burning?
Is Jesses or was Jesse a Police officer?
Spend thousands on building a "big chev", and then get winched everywhere hahaha. More $$ than sense

That chev needs a bigger lift jase
tire pressure looks about 32..
That chevy definitely ain't no RAM EATER, even back in black was way more impressive then the chev
Should give the old bloke $15,000 for him to get a new Ute.
