I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the th-cam.com/users/postUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B
There are a few similar ones out there like this, most people end up making their own out of jammer arms. Benefit being you have all movement options jammers provide but also can move the storage pin around (or add more) where this one seems to be welded. Prob end up paying $70 more or so but worth it IMO if you’re going this route.

Pretty cool although I still feel like a loading pin and a weight belt is the best bang for your buck. You can re-use both of those with a lot of other exercises, the range of motion is perfect, and you can put a ton of weight.
You should update the link in your description, they moved the site. Promo code still works though. Picked one up so I have some sort of heavy quad assistance option for the home gym.
Could you make a video about any squat/deadlift changes you made after coming back from injury? Like if you added any new cues to squatting, or reinforced old ones, just focused more on bracing, etc.
Dropping a thumbs up for the informative video and for helping to support a small business making practical gym equipment. Also for the the t-shirt, but mostly for the other stuff. Lol
@Animenian Uzumaki yeah i know that for a long lever it wont matter, I'm just curious how the length on the actual product feels, cause when you load it with heavy weight and it all goes forward into the kneecaps that wouldnt be cool (Btw. I dig you name! #naruto)
I'd love to have a home gym setup like candito has, i go to a commerical-ish type gym so i get super annoyed by alot of people who take up squat racks.
Hey Johnny, can you make a video on how to program when working a 9-5 labor intense job? I am following your strength program with a hyper caloric diet, but it seems I cannot follow it to the tee because fatigue from work gets in the way.
What do you mean by not being able to follow it to the tee? Do you have an average % that your lifts are down as a result of your work? If so just back down the program’s percentages by that much
Sleep as much as you can on the weekends helps.i work 40 plus 8-16 hours o.t. a week and struggle with fatigue. I did an upper lower split with Wednesdays,Saturdays and sundays off. I hit fatigue during the second half of work shifts. So i backed down the volume and workout to half (2 days). Slept as much as i can now ready to hit that 4 day program next week.
@@davidthomas9960 I was having to skip the optional exercises and just focus on the main movements. Also, I am able to hit the reps and sets at the given weight, but by the end of those sets, I am wiped out.
@@1vancruz i wouldn’t swear skipping the optionally tbh. In my honest opinion, pull your maxes back about 6% (as close as you can get by rounding) and you can make just as good progress.

I’m not sure that extra range of motion is actually an _advantage_ when you have to do bottoms-up squats. This should come with some kind of stand to start near the top.
