I’d say iPhone 11 is still a bargain and you can find discounts on iPhone 12 in almost every carrier. iPhone 13 probably has promotions for buying 2 when opening an account or adding a new line. iPhone XR is just if you really want to get the best iPhone experience for the cheapest price possible.

i think iphone 11 is still a great deal. i just upgraded my phone last month, from iphone 6s 16gb to iphone 11 128 gb. and i really see the difference.
I own the XR, 11, 12, and Se2. The display is only slightly better on the 12 w the led display. I was actually very surprised that the XR out performs the others in my speed tests. The “upgrades” are so minimal that it’s a waste of money to upgrade if you own an XR. Wait until they stop applying software updates to it, then upgrade.

This is my price point :) i'm hoping the 14 is a big upgrade from my xr. Going notchless is a big ask but i'd buy the 14 with a smaller notch if it had 6gb RAM, big battery and high refresh screen.
there's literally a phone like that already and that's the 13 pro Max Sorry to bring it to you but the features you want are clearly features apple is holding only to their higher tier models, as you can clearly see by the 6gb of ram being exclusive to the pro models since 2019 Also the battery is only going to be big on a max model, and i find it tricky to imagine apple putting a 120hz screen on a regular iphone since it's a very costly component and they already lowered their profit margin a lot with the regular 13s this year Also the 120hz takes more processing power, and now that apple is making two chips for the iPhone we can predict that the next iphone 14 will also include a less powerful chip then the 14 pro, so if it did include a 120hz screen there would be clear struggle on the iphone part to keep sustained performance in comparison to the 14 pro, which just doesn't seem very apple to me. That's just my opinion tho, but apple does keep certain features exclusive to the higher tier models. I dream of also having a telephoto lens withouts having to pay the extra $200, but I'm waiting since the iphone 7 for apple to be generous and they still haven't included a telephoto lens on a regular iphone yk Do yourself a favor and get the 13 pro instead of waiting for a device that may never come

@@sonospiacente3334 Handling 120hz won't be a problem for even the A13 bionic, it won't lag at all, like I'm using a mid range phone with the Snapdragon 732G chipset it doesn't give problems with the 120hz, like no lags at all so it'll be an ease for the lower end A chipset which will come with the regular 14 or 14 mini also, ofc it's a flagship chipset and wouldn't lag at all lol. but i know what you're trying to say, you can get the things which this guy is saying already instead of waiting. Also you can see every other phone at like the price point of the regular iPhone 13 every other phone has 120hz or ATLEAST 90hz so it's not a problem with money and putting a high refresh is not really that costly, my phone costs around $279 and has a 120hz refresh rate and also with a great quality display which is an OLED too so it's not that costly, Apple could add 90hz atleast.
@@su_singh I have signal issues but only in some areas. When you do have issues with signal, you’ll start noticing the phone starting to heat up a bit since it’s trying to get the best connection possible. But still I don’t find it really a issue, I just find it poor connection basically.
I think the problem of technology is the consumerism around the products. I mean, iPhone 7 is still a great phone so obviously the XR will also be a great phone, and the others even better. iPhones are designed to last longer so it’s not a problem if you get the latest tech you will still have an excellent phone in your hands.
Another great video, recently upgraded from an iPhone 7 Plus to an iPhone 12. The iPhone 12 is such a big upgrade. My iPhone 7 Plus was so slow, battery life was terrible, took so long to do things, froze a lot as well meaning you we’re constantly have to restart the phone! Had it not been for these problems I would not have upgraded. When the purple iPhone 12 came out I upgraded, purple is my favourite colour. Have to say it’s a fantastic phone, so quick to do things from what i was used to, the battery life is brilliant, the picture quality and camera are perfect! Definitely well impressed with the iPhone. Hoping this one last me as long as my iPhone 7 Plus did!
Just upgraded from my Xr to a 12 and even tho physically changes aren’t very drastic the 12 just feels so so much better and the battery gets me through the day even on heavy usage…and the great camera speakers and screen not to mention way better performance
For someone who is low key and doesn’t really need multiple cameras for photos or videos but great battery the XR is great for me. I’ve had it since 2018 and have no plans on upgrading anytime soon. To each it’s own but I’m chillin’ with the XR.

Say what you want, but I’ve had my 10r with 256 gigs sense it first came out and it hasn’t slowed at all, never gets hot and my battery is still at 97%
I still think the iPhone 11 is the best value. But I upgraded from the iPhone XR to the 13 and I can definitely tell a difference in performance and battery life.

Someone needs to test the durability of the xr. I’ve had it for 4 years and it’s taken some serious hits (dropped onto a curb/ road multiple times) and never been broken or even damaged with no screen protector either.

I just upgraded my wife’s iPhone 7 to the 10XS. She’s very pleased with it. We don’t use our iphones at home much since we both have Apple tablets. I’ll keep my 8 and upgrade when the 12 or 11 iPhones drop in price even more.
I have an xr I’m so happy with it I got it recently I love how it works and I barely take pictures I hope it last me 2/3 years I am so happy with it I edit on it and everything is going well 😁
I use my iPhones to watch movies and TH-cam all the time, other than that, I don’t really use my phone. Upgraded from the XR to the 12 and I love it. The display is definitely a huge improvement especially when watching hdr content. Haven’t had any issues with battery as I don’t really use my phone throughout the day.
I noticed that Apple constantly proves that RAM doesn't matter. OPTIMIZATION IS EVERYTHING. Meanwhile, Android phones be having 16 and plus RAM and still don't perform as well as the iPhone. they may come close.
I don't find the iphone 13 a reasonable buy. I think for a phone that looks the same, with a chip that's still 5nm (although 5nm is great and industry leader) just like the past generation, a screen that's basically the same (who needs more brightness??) and only a few software based features. The specs are the same and the benchmark improvement were not significant to make me thing the 13 will set a new era of performance for the iPhone. I think the problem was that the iphone 12 was too ahead of it's time, too 'pro'. It fixed every problem the iphone 11 cameras had, like distortion, lack of night mode on the ultra wide etc. It had the OLED. It had the new design and a 5nm chip. If apple improved the 13 too much, there wouldn't be much exclusive to the pros. Tbh, the iPhone 13 pros are actually nice. The 13s are just weird... apple released basically the same thing, to profit off of it again. Maybe "it's only a 50usd diffence from the 12 to the 13" but since I'm not in the us the difference is way more significant than that and honestly, and i just like the camera setup look with the vertical lens and the color options on the 12 more. That's why I'm gonna get an ip12 for Xmas. (i didn't mention battery life since it isn't really a feature, but whatever if my phone needs more battery i just need to charge it, not a game changer)
I was happier with my iPhone 12 standard when new than I am with my iPhone 13 Pro Max now. Its an amazing phone but idk. Something’s off. The iPhone 12 just felt like a change Apple had to do. That OLED screen with the faster processor and smooth audio, along with an amazing camera and that beautiful navy blue color…it just felt like the iPhone I had been wanting for years. The 13 Pro Max just feels like a $1,100 upgrade.
Tbh thete was no point in upgrading from a 12 to 13 pro max, that’s just an upgrade too soon and you won’t spot anything much different. Ideally you should upgrade every 3 years
After buying every new iPhone that's dropped I bought an XR 4 years ago... still amazing battery and can do almost everything the 13 can do. Great camera, yes only 1 lens but come on for 99% of people that's perfect. None of these phones are worth upgrading for... still patiently waiting.
I got the 13, honestly imo if I were someone who had a iPhone 7 or smith and was looking to upgrade, I would personally try to get at least the 12, just because the OLED screen is so worth it
i upgraded from the iphone cr to the 13 and its like a night and day difference, the speakers are amazing on the 13 compared to my iphone xr with a broken top speaker and te xr used to get really hot when playing intensive games but the 13 stays cool

IN November 2021 I buying iPhone XR and selling my iPhone SE 2 because three major problems with SE 2 1- battery 🔋 life is bad and make the phone 📱 useless 2- small screen make me so nervous in gaming and read content 3- small body in gaming the iPhone SE get hot so fast and screen dimming Finally buying iPhone XR solve all my problems , I chose iPhone XR 128GB because it was cheaper than iPhone 11
In the last 9 years I’ve gone from the iPhone 3GS to the iPhone 4S to the iPhone SE to the iPhone 6S to the iPhone 7 to the iPhone 8plus to the iPhone XR and before the 13 was released I had the “newest” which was and is now my iPhone 12 lol 😂 I’ll definitely probably hold on to it for awhile till the iPhone 14 drops lol
Just bought a XR after my last iphone being the OG SE about 4 years ago. I'll probably end up trading it in for the 14 next year should the rumors be true but at least I can get accustomed to the new features on iOS 15.
Getting an XR until Apple manages to put a modern display (no huge notch) and USB-C into their regular models. Then I'll happily upgrade to whatever the latest one is.
I upgraded from 11 to 13 and I can notice difference in screen and battery. Camera not so much.. I'll upgrade to iPhone 16 as 2 years of generations are not significant now.. Barely noticeable
I have the iphone XR it is my very first iphone I brought it last year I very impressed with this phone I have always had an Samsung galaxy s series of phone I love Android I don't really used my phone for games I used it for regular everyday things I do get a full day use of my Xr early morning til my 8 hours is up at work my battery percentage is at 26% by the time I get home
Still Have the XR. I bought a 13 and could not get it transfer from the old phone. Tried the new Bluetooth scan option, as well as a backup from my MacBook. I retuned it. I think there was something wrong with it!
If you have an iPhone 11 or iPhone 12 I would recommend keeping it there will be no crazy big difference unless you think you would really really enjoy cinematic mode and OLED display going from your 11 to 13 but I know the majority of people won’t need or care about those to things if you have an xr I would upgrade I wouldn’t go from an xr to 11
Sooo update. My 8 Plus is broken… so I’ve decided to get the XR through AT&T. Going to be MUCH better than the 16GB iPhone 6s I am currently using. It really feels like a throwback to use this thing again. Anyways, love ya Nick!

This is crazy. I brought the iPhone 12 mini and only had it for 5 months and the battery health is 95%. I swear the battery health went down twice in one month. I have a yellow iPhone XR and it had to be almost a year and my battery health is 100%. So now I’m using the XR. I like the 12 mini but the battery health really annoys me.
Imo u should either get the 11 or the 13. 13 because of the slightly better battery life (even tho they both are the best out of the 4) Great cameras The longer u keep it the longer it’ll get updates The 11 for value because the 12 is $100 more for minimal updates and the XR is a little lacking. If u can find the 12 or XR for a great deal (cause they’re both great phones) then consider them but honestly if you have the money get the 11, if u don’t get the 11 for value
I am okay with iphone 11 imo beside iphone 14 is same design on having a notch not unless you go pro and pro max having dynamic island. Plus iphone 14 is having the same chip of iphone 13 max.

I’ve had the XR, 11 and now use the 13 mini. I have to say the XR was pry the best battery but the 13’s cameras…AMAZING.

I’m still happy with my XR that I purchased in December 2018.
i’ve had the XR for over 2 years, and i decided to upgrade to the 13 Pro Max since i’m giving the XR to my mom (she has an Samsung 7 Edge). i wasn’t looking into upgrading at any time, but i figured, why not give one of the best selling iPhones to my mom? she has an even older phone, so it’ll be a lot better for her. proud of my choice, and i’m not changing this 13 Pro Max in another 2-4 years

Someone needs to test the durability of the xr. I’ve had it for 4 years and it’s taken some serious hits (dropped onto a curb/ road multiple times) and never been broken or even damaged with no screen protector either.
i'm an iPhone XR user for a month now and i really wished that i should've picked the 11 instead SOLELY for the extra wide angle camera. i never knew i needed that extra camera until i had the XR (since i was using a Redmi Note 10 Pro before), but so far i love the experience with my XR. i would like to upgrade to the 13 but it kinda scares me since its a next level expensive iPhone and if it got stolen, well....

I just upgraded my wife’s iPhone 7 to the 10XS. She’s very pleased with it. We don’t use our iphones at home much since we both have Apple tablets. I’ll keep my 8 and upgrade when the 12 or 11 iPhones drop in price even more.
I have an xr I’m so happy with it I got it recently I love how it works and I barely take pictures I hope it last me 2/3 years I am so happy with it I edit on it and everything is going well 😁
I use my iPhones to watch movies and TH-cam all the time, other than that, I don’t really use my phone. Upgraded from the XR to the 12 and I love it. The display is definitely a huge improvement especially when watching hdr content. Haven’t had any issues with battery as I don’t really use my phone throughout the day.

I noticed that Apple constantly proves that RAM doesn't matter. OPTIMIZATION IS EVERYTHING. Meanwhile, Android phones be having 16 and plus RAM and still don't perform as well as the iPhone. they may come close.
Ram doesn't really matter as compared to the processor and there has been no point in time where snapdragon has been better than Apple's A chips.
I don't find the iphone 13 a reasonable buy.
I think for a phone that looks the same, with a chip that's still 5nm (although 5nm is great and industry leader) just like the past generation, a screen that's basically the same (who needs more brightness??) and only a few software based features. The specs are the same and the benchmark improvement were not significant to make me thing the 13 will set a new era of performance for the iPhone.
I think the problem was that the iphone 12 was too ahead of it's time, too 'pro'. It fixed every problem the iphone 11 cameras had, like distortion, lack of night mode on the ultra wide etc. It had the OLED. It had the new design and a 5nm chip. If apple improved the 13 too much, there wouldn't be much exclusive to the pros.
Tbh, the iPhone 13 pros are actually nice. The 13s are just weird... apple released basically the same thing, to profit off of it again.
Maybe "it's only a 50usd diffence from the 12 to the 13" but since I'm not in the us the difference is way more significant than that and honestly, and i just like the camera setup look with the vertical lens and the color options on the 12 more. That's why I'm gonna get an ip12 for Xmas. (i didn't mention battery life since it isn't really a feature, but whatever if my phone needs more battery i just need to charge it, not a game changer)

I was happier with my iPhone 12 standard when new than I am with my iPhone 13 Pro Max now. Its an amazing phone but idk. Something’s off. The iPhone 12 just felt like a change Apple had to do. That OLED screen with the faster processor and smooth audio, along with an amazing camera and that beautiful navy blue color…it just felt like the iPhone I had been wanting for years. The 13 Pro Max just feels like a $1,100 upgrade.

Tbh thete was no point in upgrading from a 12 to 13 pro max, that’s just an upgrade too soon and you won’t spot anything much different. Ideally you should upgrade every 3 years
After buying every new iPhone that's dropped I bought an XR 4 years ago... still amazing battery and can do almost everything the 13 can do. Great camera, yes only 1 lens but come on for 99% of people that's perfect. None of these phones are worth upgrading for... still patiently waiting.

I got the 13, honestly imo if I were someone who had a iPhone 7 or smith and was looking to upgrade, I would personally try to get at least the 12, just because the OLED screen is so worth it
I got the iPhone 7 Plus and it still runs smoothly when it comes to running games and the battery gets my threw half of day of using it

i upgraded from the iphone cr to the 13 and its like a night and day difference, the speakers are amazing on the 13 compared to my iphone xr with a broken top speaker and te xr used to get really hot when playing intensive games but the 13 stays cool

1- battery 🔋 life is bad and make the phone 📱 useless
2- small screen make me so nervous in gaming and read content

Finally buying iPhone XR solve all my problems , I chose iPhone XR 128GB because it was cheaper than iPhone 11
In the last 9 years I’ve gone from the iPhone 3GS to the iPhone 4S to the iPhone SE to the iPhone 6S to the iPhone 7 to the iPhone 8plus to the iPhone XR and before the 13 was released I had the “newest” which was and is now my iPhone 12 lol 😂 I’ll definitely probably hold on to it for awhile till the iPhone 14 drops lol

I have the iphone XR it is my very first iphone I brought it last year I very impressed with this phone I have always had an Samsung galaxy s series of phone I love Android I don't really used my phone for games I used it for regular everyday things I do get a full day use of my Xr early morning til my 8 hours is up at work my battery percentage is at 26% by the time I get home

Still Have the XR. I bought a 13 and could not get it transfer from the old phone. Tried the new Bluetooth scan option, as well as a backup from my MacBook. I retuned it. I think there was something wrong with it!

If you have an iPhone 11 or iPhone 12 I would recommend keeping it there will be no crazy big difference unless you think you would really really enjoy cinematic mode and OLED display going from your 11 to 13 but I know the majority of people won’t need or care about those to things if you have an xr I would upgrade I wouldn’t go from an xr to 11

@@alexkiragu4927 Yeah but u bet less battery life. 3GB vs 4, it’s not a major difference irl usage. Both of them have the same camera specs only difference is the XR has 1 camera while the XS has the extra telephoto camera.

This is crazy. I brought the iPhone 12 mini and only had it for 5 months and the battery health is 95%. I swear the battery health went down twice in one month. I have a yellow iPhone XR and it had to be almost a year and my battery health is 100%. So now I’m using the XR. I like the 12 mini but the battery health really annoys me.

I am okay with iphone 11 imo beside iphone 14 is same design on having a notch not unless you go pro and pro max having dynamic island. Plus iphone 14 is having the same chip of iphone 13 max.
