great content I used to just be into using jigs pretty much and your videos have pushed me to use other types of lures
just wanted thank you and Rob. I tied on a red (craw colored) crankbait last night at my local pond and caught 6 bass in about 40 minutes including a 5 lb pig.
I never would have tied that this late in Ontario, Canada.

Thanks for cluing us in. My dad and I got back into fishing this year and tried that river in the early summer; we got skunked and nearly gave up on that river. We went back yesterday and got around 20 plus 7 keepers for a fish fry. Nearly identical crank bait was popular in the early afternoon. Just as we went in at dusk, I switched to a black salamander on a Texas rig and was really surprised how well they hit it. We need more days like that. I hope you make it back to Michigan sometime.

The Tittabawassee river has some nice sized smallies! In the mid summer you can catch tanks on just a wacky rig!! Next time you are in Michigan try Harrison in Clare county about 45 minute north of midland many lakes there and you can catch some nice size large mouth (Bud lake)! Tight lines!

My favorite type of fish to catch. The fight is just incredible compare to other species and lbs. in the u.p I like Ottawa lake and haggerman lake for non stop smaller action near iron river. I have a place just of US 2 and know some great lakes if you ever head that way. I would be happy to tell you some hot spots 😀. Keep fishing 🎣
